This steak house is the worst place I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. Service is always slow and this is based on multiple visits over the last few years. Unfortunately my mother loves this place for no reason. It’s always empty but takes a long time for service and for food to be served. I would say 50 minutes for food is too long. Please save your self an hour and go any where else.

2 stars and only because our waitress was so nice and my beef was decent. However, the risotto was nasty and dry and our appy of Mozzarella in marinara sauce was cold so you couldn’t really enjoy it(tasted decent). The cheese wasn’t gooey or warm for that matter. There is no hostess. Very expensive for a neighborhood restaurant in a shopping plaza. I’ve been wanting to try this place for years. It’s a shame it didn’t live up to my mental experience.

Went there with a group for lunch and left extremely unhappy. The sausages smelled horrible, undercooked and the taste was horrendous. The lunch special is really a poor one. The Chicken Marsala was the worse thing ever, I could not even force myself to place a second bite in my mouth it was dressed with a gallon of a horrible starch filled pseudo-sauce with what seemed can mushrooms. The over cooked vegetables were simply bad, the mashed potatoes was a mess. What happened to this place? do they have a new owner? or new cook? Wow just left money on the table and left dissatisfied and hungry.

Such a nice cosy place! The service is great. Lots of options. The steak was amazing, but also the salad and the pasta. Usually in many steak houses the options other than steak are average(or non existant). Here they have salads, pastas… A must try!

Rincon Argentino is a nice, and cozy place, please if you are a vegan or veggie I will recommend not to come near this place. I arrive with a couple of my aunt, cousin and sister. The friendly staff of the location immediately welcomed us. We share some empanadas and sauce for our appetizer. This is of the few times that I do not repeat the sauces, I don’t know what they add to it, but the taste and texture were incredibly delicious. Las empanadas were good to, it seen like in Miami almost every restaurant know how to make homemade and traditional empanadas. For my main plate I order La Picaña(The Picanha) is a cut of beef that is very popular in Brazil. In the U.S. it is little known, but referred to as the rump cover, rump cap or coulotte. North American butchers generally divide it into other cuts like the rump, the round and the loin. I order this cut of the beef because I was told by my sister that is the best cut she have taste and she describe how delicious can be. This cut is big enough to feed two person, it come with two-piece of beef cut, the picanha was delicious! The meat was very tender, the flavor was wonderful, juicy, everything about the cut was perfect everything like my sister told me, I truly recommend it, more if you looking to share a plate with someone.

This under new ownership !! They raised the prices. The food was terrible. It was poorly seasoned. The ensalada rusa was awful. The mashed potatoes were even worse. This place is an insult to Argentina. The service was terrible. I will never visit this place again.

I’ve been here many times but never wrote a review so here’s my take on this great little place. I went with a male friend who loves meat just as much as I do. We ordered the parrillada for two the mushroom risotto and a bottle of red wine. For desert, we had this chocolate mousse thing that I can’t remember the name of. The server was very attentive and informative. We wanted to make changes to the meat items given to us and they gladly made adjustments as we requested. The bottle of Malbec was excellent and cost us as such as well. Maybe a bit too much but we wanted to try it. The bread they brought before the meal was great! It was crispy on the outside soft on the inside and had a bunch of side fixings to add to it. The main entrées came out and they were huge. The meet was perfectly cooked to our liking. The risotto was OK it wasn’t great I’ve had better but it didn’t overpower the meat we are eating along with it. For our side dishes we ordered french fries and vegetables neither were mentionable and could have done without them. The meal was pretty huge as it was and we didn’t even finish. It could have fed four easily and for $ 40 it was a good deal. The desert we honestly should have done without. It was some sort of chocolate mousse concoction with bits and pieces of what seemed like chocolate cake or brownie mixed in. Meh, not so great and unfortunately it was tiny in a champagne as for $ 9! Let me save you the trouble. Don’t bother. Overall the meat, the wine and the service is what wins me over here and yes I will be back to this place. I would forget some of the healthier options if I were you. Get the potatoes and starchy items with the meat you choose. It’s just the best way to go here. See the picture for the food on the table and please keep in mind we had both taken some meat off the tray when I took the photo. Enjoy!

I’m giving this rating not because I had a near flawless experience but because I had a problem with an entrée I ordered and it was resolved in a way that is rare in even much more expensive restaurants. I don’t often send dishes back unless its really bad or if I sense it will be handled in such a way that in the end my evening will be ruined far further than just letting it go and writing it off. While I think every establishment should strive for the best sometimes«stuff» happens. Its how that’s handled that counts alot for me. I wasnt going to say anything, pushed my plate aside, wrote them off and continued eating the garlic potato chips which were really good. My girlfriend(whose platter was pretty good) convinced me to speak up. The woman who was the manager for the evening,(it was a Friday night) felt very distraught/empathetic that I had gotten a bad entrée and was immediately on top of the problem. She got me a different entrée that was great. Took full responsibility for the problem, told us we did the right thing to bring it up, let us know how concerned she was that we have a good experience. Checked on us several times the rest of the meal. Made sure our bill was correct and encouraged us to always speak up if there is ever any problem. This is such a rare situation of taking ownership and making the customer really feel good that they were right about the problem and shouldnt have to accept it(and no added guilt). It no longer mattered to me whether the food was average, good, great or awesome. She turned what would have been a one or two star into at least a four star and we’ll probably come back again and give it another go. Other restaurants should take a lesson from that.

They were severely understaffed on Mother’s Day. I think I saw our waiter once when he took our order and the rest of the time it was a polite lady at the front desk refilling my drink. It took them 12 minutes after we sat down to take our drink order, after we ordered our food it took 25 minutes to get that. The staff walking around in between all that time were strategically avoiding eye contact. Once the food came out it was just ok. I ordered the skirt steak and the meat was nowhere near the caliber of the famous Churrasco Presidente from Los Ranchos or the food in general that they have at Texas de Brazil. The food was also overpriced too. I paid $ 120 after a 15% tip for a table of 3 which is $ 40 a plate. Not worth that in my honest opinion. I would also like to add that there was a table of 10 in the house at the same time as us and the wait staff were hovering around that group catering to their every need. So I guess next time I’ll bring 7 more people to eat with me so that they can pay more attention to us. Nothing special here.

Tried this place for the first time on Easter Sunday, and I have to say I’m slightly disappointed. I’ll start off by saying the service was phenomenal, friendly, funny, and very helpful. The food on the other hand not so much, I had the entraña steak and it was pretty bad, absolutely no taste. What made matters worse was how incredibly over priced it was. 25 bucks for a steak with one side. It’s safe to say I’ll stay away from this place.

I really hate to write poor reviews, but after my last visit to Rincon Argentino I knew I had to warn my fellow Unilocalers. My family has frequented this restaurant for many years. Three things they do extraordinarily well: 1. a white bean salad that is(usually) served complimentary with the bread. This stuff is so good, my mom and I literally will ask them for a huge order of it & eat just that. 2. fresh made potato chips 3. Fried mozerella(but come on how can you possibly mess up fried cheese?) In the past, although it was never my favorite restaurant, the food was at lest decent. However, on my last visit the food was not only terrible, but the menu changed(and there was an increase in prices). This was never an inexpensive restaurant to being with(in my opinion it has always been slightly over priced). But, now with the new menu prices it is pretty ridiculous for a strip mall restaurant that for the most part is medicare. Apparently, along with the changes in prices also came with a change in Chef. My mom’s steak was SO overcooked, mine came out so raw we had to send it back. I’m sorry but at over $ 25 a steak I would hope that it would at least come out at the proper temp. My boyfriend ordered a pollo milanese that was supposed to have a fried egg on top– the egg was so overcooked and rubbery. Service was spotty, it was extremely hot inside the restaurant, & worst of all, no more white beans. This past experience left us in shock, and with no intentions of returning for a while.

They charged me twice for dinner & I contacted them various times regarding this issue. They did not respond after several attempts and the manager told me she would call me back. Three days later NOCALLBACK! In speaking to others, they have done this in the past. I will NOT be returning due their lack of ethics!

This Rincon Argentino was OK and overpriced given what follows. My hubby and I stopped by for lunch. We’ve driven by this restaurant for years and never seemed to make our way in. After today’s meal, perhaps our sixth sense was steering us away. We started off with sangria and calamari. The calamari were very fresh and well seasoned, coupled with two tasty dipping sauces. Couldn’t say the same for the sangria. It tasted like one of those pre-mixed sangrias in a bottle. We decided to take it back. For our lunch entrée, we had one of their steaks(entraña-type cut of meat) $ 15.95 with steamed veggies. Both my husband and I asked for medium well, but both came well done. Honestly we didn’t have the time to send it back so settled for the well done steak instead. The veggies were bland, no seasoning or the like. The presentation was majorly lacking-I could have probably outdone this place from home in both presentation and taste. We decided to pass on dessert given the preamble. Don’t think we’ll be back.

I am an extremely frugal person. With that being said, I would never visit this place under normal circumstances. However, I found a website called where you purchase restaurant certificates for 20−50% off so I decided to try this one out as it was not far from home. We arrived at the restaurant(can’t recall which day) and they had closed in the middle of the day for two hours. A sign posted said they would return at a certain time which they did not. We had planned our day around this and we ended up having to change everything as we missed a movie we had scheduled. For whatever reason, we decided to wait. The server was rude and never explained why a restaurant would close for two hours in the middle of the day. The dishes were okay but not exquisite. The regular prices were in no way a reflection of the meal quality, the discount prices were decent. I’m always in favor of trying stuff once but we live in Miami, Florida… there are a million restaurants and there’s no need to go here more than once.

This place is overpriced and has bad service. A small one-person take-out portion of steak, rice, and potato salad ended up costing me $ 28 and the food turned out cold and not good. Gave the place a second chance months later by eating in, and the service was poor.

The service and ambiance are phenomenal. The food you definitely have to have a liking for though. It is not for everyone, as it stays true to an authentic Argentinian menu. There is no American fusion here. I’m not a huge fan of meat, so keeping that in mind, I’d say my visit was good, but not great. I found it to be a bit pricey for what it is, but I am not a meat connoisseur so I may have been paying for the quality of the cut. I would definitely recommend it for true carnivores or fans of authentic Argentinian food.

This place was horrible! I don’t understand some of these reviews. Their meats are below average on every level. I ordered a 10oz Entrana which was 18.95, and it had no flavor, and was rubbery. No joke. Their sides are lame! The rice tasted like microwaveable box rice… I read a review on here from a Linda n she was so dead on about the veggies. My party also ordered the the parrillada. The vacio was worse than the Entrana n the chorizo under cooked the ribs average the chicken was ok n the sweet bread was ok. The highlight of the evening was their white beans in garlic&oil sauce they serve with the bread at the beginning. So disappointed. The whole experience was below average at a pricey cost. Never again!

This is our go-to Argentinean restaurant. In the past, we would have rated this 4 stars, but it has been absolutely amazing recently. I haven’t found a tastier skirt steak(entraña) or sweetbreads(mollejas) in town. Desserts are all delicious, but I usually go for the crêpe with dulce de leche. Be sure to ask for«Carlos» as he is an excellent and friendly server.

Good food; excellent service. Not bad at all for a strip mall restaurant. They’ve been there for many years and they have always maintained their quality. Small but cozy. Try their empanadas n chorizos. We’ve tried most of their cuts… pretty good.

More like 4.5 stars. This happens to be a family favorite of ours as we live close by and there’s never a long wait. The waiters are all really friendly and even recognize us and say hello when we walk in. I’ve seen some of these waiters there for years. We always get the same and we’re not disappointed. We split a parrillada for 2(this thing can feed a lot more than 2, usually 4 of us split it) and get the matambre appetizer and watercress salad. The food always comes out promptly and hot. We have never had a problem with the service or the food. It is consistently good. Pros: — MUST get morcilla. I LOVE their morcilla. Mix it with some rice. mMmmM good — Good portion sizes — Friendly, knowledgable staff — Mil hojas is the best dessert — Sangria is yummy Cons: — The portions for the side dishes are pretty small. I wish they’d give more rice at least,
