Food made me sick! I had extreme stomach cramps and othet bm problems. I ordered the pepperoni pizza. The staff were not interested in helping me as soon as they assumed I didn’t speak Spanish. Please don’t eat the pizza. Anything else I would not know.

I give it one star cz i cannot give a 0. Worth rey pizza ever. The pizza is not pizza is bread with a mist of cheese. With out mentioning that is the firstttt place i have seen in USA where they give you fountain drink with the cup full of ice, i little bit of of soda and when is gone they charge you like a new drink because the manager does not allow to give refill… Omgggggggggggggg do not go there everrrrrrrrr. Best advice. Look at the picture of the pizza

Worst pizza I have ever had. The fountain soda had no carbonation and there was no free refills when they filled the cup with ice. Same your money and go somewhere else. Would have given it no stars if it was allowed

Rey’s Pizza… a late night pizza joint… a late night CUBAN pizza joint… a place where you can go and eat greasy pizza after a long night of partying! I came here one night after a long night of club hopping with a friend, and since it was the only place open at 2 am, my friend and I decided to come here. We parked at one of the many available parking spaces and saw a burst of yellow and red everywhere. Yellow walls, red seats, it’s a burst of McDonald’s color palette! The colors were insane. Since there was only one waitress, the service was slow here, which was primarily due to the time, so my friend and I sat ourselves, called the attention of the waitress, and she gave us menus. She seemed tired. My friend ordered a personal mushroom pizza. I ordered a media noche sandwich, and my friend and I shared garlic rolls. The garlic rolls were way oily and had bits of garlic on the top. They were a couple of levels lower than the ones you would find at Mario the Baker’s. My friend’s pizza looked like the type of $ 1 pizzas you would get at school carnivals. My media noche was greasy, hearty, and tasted like a heart attack waiting to happen. I have definitely had way better. If you come here, do not come with great expectations because you will be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a late night place to chill out, come here. It may be the only place still open at the wee hours of the morning. Everything is greasy here, so do not expect to find a salad.

I don’t know if it was a combination of the late night munchies and booze attack but this time around, the pizza was cooked to perfection. Cheezy goodness in every bite. I don’t know if during normal hours I would chose this style of pizza but if you have never tried«cuban style» pizza or if late night munchies are lurking, you definitely shouldn’t miss out on this miami staple. Take it to go, I wouldn’t recommend actually dining in the restaurant.

Even if my name is Rey I can never endorse this terrible restaurant the pizza is disgusting and their other foods taste like they come out of an out of date can. The atmosphere is terrible and the service too. Their only saving grace is always being open!

Crappy service(the chonga waitress was very busy on the phone). Crappy pizza(LOL –this is pizza?). Crappy area(I thought SoBe was the designated area for Ed Hardy clothed schmucks?). The end(sigh). PS: It’s asking me below for additional tips, «Good for». But there doesn’t seem to be a box for ‘NOTHING’. Unilocal should work on that.

The worst pizza ever. My friend from Hialeah said that this is «true Cuban pizza». I did not really know what that meant, but I can now say that it was truely the worst pizza I ever ate. The dough was so fluffy and undercooked. Wierd. I have never had such gooey tasting pizza. And the sauce tasted like tomato sauce from a can… like Ragu. And the cheese was so weak. This shredded white cheese was nowhere near what you would expect on true pizza. I would argue that it was not even mozzerella. Not good. From a pizza lover, but not Cuban, I do not recommend.

This place was awful. We came based on a prior Unilocal reviewer and we were very disappointed. The interior looks like a 1970’s McDonald’s…with random local fauna(we had a lizard on our table). The menu is very basic, consisting of simple one-topping pizzas, lasagna, spaghetti and Cuban sandwiches. Clearly, no effort was made in designing the menu. The waitress was OK, but seemed somewhat overwhelmed by our order of 1 cheese pizza and 1 Hawaiian pizza. The pizza can quickly. I will start with the Hawaiian, it came with a doughy crust that was undercooked, the cheese was melted, but you could see the shreds they used, the pineapple looked like it came from a can and the ham was luncheon meat. The cheese pizza had the same undercooked bready-doughy crust that could have been store bought. The sauce was runny and the cheese undercooked. All in all, about the worst pizza I have ever had. We left after eating a brief sampling. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

God bless Rey’s Pizza for being open on Christmas Eve. Practically nowhere else in Miami was open tonight, and the chorizo lasagna, swimming in cheese and tomato sauce, really hit the spot for my wife. I ventured to try the banana pizza, which I’ve only had once before, a few years ago and in another city. It was awesome. Cheese out to the edges of a thin, yeasty crust, the ripest bananas outside of banana bread, and all the ingredients perfectly balanced. They didn’t skimp on the toppings, either; it was nearly impossible to cut even a small wedge without banana on it(so she could try some). Just as I was asking for the check, our server(the only server working at 11pm on Christmas Eve) called out to the three college-age customers leaving the restaurant, «La propina no esta incluida!» I was appalled. Stiffing your waitress on Christmas Eve? I desperately want to believe this was an unintentional gaffe — maybe they thought the tip WAS included? — but the two patrons who stood outside look amused, not embarrassed, as their compatriot hastily counted out a few bills and threw them onto a table. We tried to make up for it. We couldn’t do as much as we’d have liked, but I sincerely — if inexpertly — said«Muchisimas gracias para, um, por, um, trabajando esta noche.» I still don’t know if I should have said ‘para’ or ‘por’, but the important part was plain enough: thank you so much for working tonight!
