This place was around the corner from where I was staying. Between my horrendous broken Spanish and her broken English, I was trying to recognize a few Latin dishes I’d never heard of, and settled for the pollo frito, aka fried chicken. This place is kind of a dive, and serves, Cuban, Honduran, and some Caribe-influenced cuisine. The chicken was delicious. Moist on the inside, completely fried on the outside, served with a basic salad, rice, fries, and beans. I think somewhere in my lost in translation moment she added side dishes, but oh well. The beans were delicious as well, and cooked in Caribbean spices. I know they seem to do a few things here, like live music and maybe dancing. Call to ask their schedule.
