Wow great shrimp alfredo pasta last night. Had some of the ribs too. Can’t stop coming back!

SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE. The food was just as wonderful as the service and the place had a super cool look to it. I loved that it’s a family business. They were so sweet. It felt like could just hangout there forever. I ordered the churrasco sandwich with the yuca fries and it was delicious! Overall a great place and a great experience! Definitely coming back.

I think I just found my new go to spot! It’s in the corner of my house, which is definitely a plus for me. We got there right when they opened, and my boyfriend and I were the only two people there. The owners were so nice and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. They were very attentive, which I loved. It could’ve been just because we were the only customers at the time, but they seem like they genuinely wanted us to enjoy their spot.
Now on to the food. Wow! I kept reading all the reviews about the yuca fries and the chimichurri churrasco sandwich so of course that’s what l ordered. It did not disappoint. The yuca fries were unbelievably delicious. They put a garlic sauce on top which is probably the best part about it. I wanted a side of it to dip them in it more. The sandwich was also really good. Very flavorful. My only complaint is that the meat had too much fat on the side for my own liking. It made it hard to bite into in some spots. Other than that, it was so good. I loved the fact that they made it with a French baguette instead of the typical Cuban bread.
I seriously cannot wait to go try other things from their menu. Or maybe I’ll just get the same thing.

This place is amazing! We happened to be in the area and Rafa’s backyard grill was opened. I ordered a pork belly plate with watercress salad and yuca frita… honestly the food was excellent and the service was great. I will definitely come back! :-)

We just visited Rafa’s Backyard Grill and it was amazing! We ordered a parrilla which was cooked to perfection with the fried yuca. As an appetizer we had authentic Venezuelan arepitas de chicharron and queso which was again delicious. The atmosphere was great and the customer service was fantastic and the prices were extremely fair. I would highly recommend for a casual dinner and enjoyable family atmosphere.

We wanted something tasty and casual and found this beautiful place. We had the ribs which were amazingly tasty and tender! Definitely recommend these to anyone who isn’t vegetarian ;)!!! The pasta pesto sauce was also really good, especially with the mushrooms I ordered extra. Rafa has a food truck and the address itself is a small parlour with outside dining. The lights and cute chairs and garden make this place and the atmosphere homely and even more awesome! Love it

Love this place! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun and family friendly. You need to order the churrasco and yucca fries. It will leave you craving for more!

This place is pretty cool and different! We happened to be driving down bird road late one Saturday night and drove by. We saw lights and wondered what was happening there. We parked and got off and were immediately greeted by the owners upon arrival. They told us to have a seat where ever we liked and gave us a menu. You can tell its family run. That night happened to be the owners birthday so there were a lot of family members there as well. The service was great.
You can tell its a new business and they need to get the word out. This place has awesome food at awesome prices. I definitely recommend the arepitas and churrassco sandwich.

The employees there are very friendly, it feels like you are eating in your own backyard and most importantly, the food is amazing and very fresh! I highly recommend the tequeños, pastas, and sandwiches!

What a great gem… outdoor eating under café lights and the food is sooooo flavorful! It’s got the Wynwood feel closer to home! The food trucks are set up along side a great little garden with bistro tables and chairs, so charming!
I had the churrasco chimichurri sandwich and my husband had the Choripan… both were great on the perfect French loaf!
The side of yuca fries won’t let you down, perfectly crispy on the outside and so creamy on the inside… perfect without any sauce!
Just opened yesterday and I hope they’re here for years to come!
