my absolute favorite place for a cuban coffee and croquetas. everything is awesome and the service is great. the«de la casa» croquetas are the best choice.

This bakery is alright in terms of ordering sandwiches and stuff. The coffee is good and the baked goods are pretty tasty and usually fresh. However, for being an establishment that is open 24 hours, they should have more options or at least specify which items are taken off the menu late at night. A good suggestion would be putting a midnight menu, stating that those are the only options they have for late night. My mom and I were taking a long trip at 2 a.m. and wanted some breakfast to go. But, they didn’t have half the stuff on their menu. Which is understandable, because I know only a few people stop by at 2 am. Hence, the midnight menu would work. They improvised a sandwich for us, but it was not what we wanted. Ladies were nice, but service could have been a little better. Overall, I probably would find a better late night place. Can’t say for the snacks during the day though.

The employees at this location are very sweet and attentive. I love your staff! But this specific pinecrest bakery is trying to get their customers to write bad reviews on Starbucks(which is in the same plaza) because they claim that it is that SPECIFIC Starbucks INTHEPLAZA that won’t let them sell Cuban coffee… just for the record, I want the person who OWNS pinecrest bakery to know that it’s not anyone or any employee from THAT Starbucks store in the plaza who is stoping your bakery from selling Cuban coffee. All Starbucks stores are CORPORATE owned. So why are you telling your own customers to boycott that Starbucks and the employees have to deal with your boycott customers when it’s not even their fault?! That’s very bad business ethics. I’ve lost respect for your company, pinecrest bakery… I forgot to add and in response to a comment on this review, they put the address for Starbucks 6603 South Dixie hwy on the signs they have posted on the door. Again I must mention, do not mislead your customers and give others a hard time. Do I have to post a picture to show the«simple truth»?

How do you stay open? I’ve bought better chocolate cake in a gas station. I’m not exaggerating to prove a point, I’m being completely serious. Oh, and some English speakers would be AWESOME!

These ladies are always very sweet. They make a great café con leche. This location is cleaner than the one located in Near Cutler. One of my favorite places for coffee and sweets in Miami.

Pinecrest Bakery made up for our unfortunate experience. Thank you for your professionalism-it speaks volumes! I must say other than the cake incident you have the best croquetas and pastelitos.

So many reviews hatin’ on PB! First, I want to let everyone know that THEYDOSELLCUBANCOFFEE. Before, there was an issue with having two places in the same shopping center sell coffee. Lame, right? So happy that is over with. I love me some Cuban coffee! The staff is super friendly. I witnessed a customer being very rude to the lady at the counter and despite all that, the lady was still friendly and willing to accommodate her needs. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. PB(and this location) is my favorite bakery to go to when I want my cortadito fix and when I don’t want to hurt my wallet.

I have been to two of their locations and have been deeply disappointed both times. Their empanadas and pastries just aren’t good and the café con leche was just okay. I’m surprised by how many people were in this place based on the quality of the simple food items I’ve had from them. Sorry… but there are dozens and dozens other places to get excellent quality empanadas and Cuban pastries… I won’t waste my time and money here again.

Wow, why such bad reviews? Maybe I missed something but I had a great experience here, better than the one around 120th and US1. I went for breakfast with my boyfriend and we ordered a pineapple juice, café con leche, and two croissant sandwiches. Service was excellent, the place small but doable, and the food was great. I saw plenty people drinking their coffee, and their menu said cortadito, colada, or café con leche. So I’m not sure what the issue is here. My first time at this location and I’ll be back.

First the ratchet lady who was on her phone didn’t want to pay attention to us take their order only asks seven times after we set our order what our order was. Then the chicken philly with no cheese … Sent that back got it back still wrong. It didn’t taste bad. Just wrong. And at 1 in the morning you really don’t have that many options

What’s a Spanish bakery without a cortadito or colada ??? They are not allowed to sell cuban coffee, only American coffee because of some regulation made up by Starbucks in the same shopping center ‚ Well Def not coming back here again, they need to relocate

Went there this morning to get bread and it was impossible to get service. Returned this afternoon for a coffee and snack and the place was super dirty. Food and Trash on the floor!

If you’re a fan of Pinecrest Bakeries, do yourself a favor and go to another one. I live just down the street from the South Miami location and was ecstatic when I heard they were opening. What a let down. THEYDON’T SERVECUBANCOFFEE. Seriously. This is a Cuban bakery in Miami with no Cuban coffee. The neon sign on the window literally has an espresso cup on it but there are none to be found inside the actual bakery. The reason they can’t serve espresso of any kind is because Starbucks(located in the same strip mall) has a clause in their contract which gives them complete exclusivity on it. PCB should have just packed up their bags as soon as they found that one out. Hadn’t been to the location in a while and I wanted to give it another shot. I was having a get together at my house and wanted to pick up a few of those party platters(the ones with the finger-sized pastelitos, croquetas, arepas, etc.) that are readily available at both of the other PCBs I have been to. Not here, though. I asked where their platters were and the woman behind the counter looked at me as if I were speaking Mandarin. She told me with an attitude that I needed to call ahead about an hour or so for them to put one together. I had nothing to say at that point, I just walked out. Done with this place.

Food was good. The pan con bistec for $ 5 is a great deal, along with slew of other options. They didnt have any water like most bakeries. Overall, it is better than most bakery with a wide selection.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker, so I don’t care about the coffee situation here. I come here for their delicious breakfast sandwiches. The pan con tortilla with mayo, ham, cheese and onions is to die for. It’s served on a huge slab of fresh Cuban bread and is large enough for 2! They also put out samples of various cakes for you to try. Those are also awesome! This little bakery offers up some great pastries and sandwiches, and the girls that work there are pleasant! I know at least one of them speaks English as she served me this am!

W. T. F. Cuban bakery and no Cuban coffee, whatsoever. I am completely shocked that that they can not serve coffee because of the Starbucks in the same shopping center! It’s actually infuriating. I went out of my way to stop here this morning and had to settle for a lackluster hot chocolate because the only other option was American coffee. Despicable.

I can’t believe this place recently opened their doors and aren’t trying harder not to match the reviews to their other stores! Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I got a Cuban bread the size of my forearm length with no grill chicken on one half. Really? Yes really!!!
