Oriental Massage

Awesome deep tissue work with whole body stretching. Clean facility with friendly staff. Not über fancy, but I’ll take good massage technique over pretty wallpaper & lobby.

This place is always clean and being able to just walk in without an appointment is nice too. You really get your hour’s worth and if you’re up to it try a 15 min table shower after. This washes off the oil from the massage as you literally get bathed. They’re open til 11, but I believe they’ll stay later if you schedule an appointment in advance.

I’ve been to multiple different spas and nothing ever compares to oriental massages! I went here the other night cause I pulled a muscle in my back, and was taken in right away. I’ve noticed oriental massages can be a little more tough than the average spa like experience, but if you suffer from chronic pain like I do, then an oriental massage is the way to go! This place was great, and I’ll definitely be going again. Also, after your tenth visit you receive an hour for free.

Just got back from an hour «Swedish» massage at this place in Coconut Grove. I couldn’t be more stressed out. Worst massage ever.
This was not only NOT a Swedish massage, but not a real massage at all. The woman flailed at me, leaned on me with her elbows, got up on the table to destroy my hip bones, scratched my head for 10 minutes and in general, did a rotten impression of someone who knew what they were doing.
I came at 9:00 pm, thinking I’d get a relaxing experience before bed for my aching muscles, but my neck is out, I have a headache from the prolonged head scratching, my finger joints hurt where she popped them, my patella was shoved around so much, it is throbbing, and I’m beyond stressed out from her «sneak attacks» lurching at me from one side of my body to the other, to pull on a limb, flap the blanket in a dramatic fashion, or pinch a muscle. I never knew where she would be coming at me next.
Me: You knew I wanted a Swedish Massage, right? I asked at the front desk and they said you knew how to do a Swedish Massage.
Her: «I’ll do it less hard.»
Me: It’s not about how hard… not sure what this is, but it isn’t a Swedish Masssage.
Her: I’ll do it less hard.
Me: Look, I just want a Swedish Massage.
Her: I’ll do it very light. Not hard.
Me: Sighhhhhh
I complained to the lady at the desk and she said… «You should have told her you wanted it less hard.» I told her that it was not what I asked for… not a Swedish massage. She then asked me to define a Swedish massage and if I didn’t like it, I didn’t need to come back.
OK. no problem. I won’t come back. I suggest you not bother either.

I’m a massage therapist myself, and I’m very picky. This place is licensed, and that staff are professional. I have gone here about 10 times now. Jenny gives a deep massage, perfect for releasing chronic pain (if you can handle it). Amber doesn’t work as deep, but it still releases my tension, while allowing me to relax too. Prices are great — $ 38 for 30 min, $ 68 for 60 min, & $ 98 for 90 min. They give you the full time. And the hours are great. I don’t get off work until 8pm, & it’s nice to be able to get a massage after. The only thing I don’t like is the scent of the oil. I just bring my own jojoba oil.

I cannot believe I paid for someone to beat the hell out of me (or that I stayed and let her do it). There was no technique and i felt a lot of pressure on my spine/​bones — never ok! I kept asking for less pressure, but she was relentless. I am COVERED in bruises! I regret not asking for her license.

I am walking out of this place at this moment and the stress is falling off of me. Amazing massages. I had Kara and she gave me the best massage of my life! Highly recommend!

I was actually driving to Books & Books in the Gables when I caught a glimpse of this place.
Oriental Mysterious Massage what a name, I was curious as to what was so mysterious about this place.
So I did a U– turn and popped in to get a business card and to inquire about the prices. Satisfied with what I saw and heard I bookmarked it and decided to pass by the following weekend when I could avoid the weekday Sao Paulo like traffic.
This spa is located in a rather large stand alone single story building. They have about 7 tranquil sound controlled massage rooms, most equipped with sinks with running water and shiatsu bars.(probably used to be a doctors office)
I’ve been here twice so far and both times my massuese has been Kandi. All I can say is wow, Kandi’s deep tissue shiatsu routine was unique and masterful, I’ve never encountered that kind of technique before. Her hand’s also proved magical in applying acute pressure, it was extremely relieving. She also spent a good amount of time working in the area’s I requested.
Both times I’ve left totally renewed & rejuvenated, this place is definitely going on my short list of favorite Miami Spa’s.
–they take CC’s but charge extra to use Amex.
–there’s free parking in the back of the building & metered parking in the front.
–they have a table shower.

I’m going give them my rare 5 stars bc they truly deserve it and I’ve been to many many massage places all around the world they’re probably on my top 10 places. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Miami

My wife and I have tried many «massage» locations in the past and we both are glad we found this place.
We usually do couples massage and have never been let down. The communication is great not like other places where they seem not to understand and do as they wish.
The prices are fair and they time the hour well to cover enough. The facility is clean and well organized. It is highly recommended that you book an appointment. They are square on the dot and extremely fair and professional.
Ask about their customer’s points card. After the 10^th visit, you get one hour free.
