The packaged desserts, foods etc… have been old and kept on the shelves for many days. Just look at the label date, if you’re lucky to find one. Sometimes they don’t even have a date! Like today, I saw the label date said 1÷09÷2015, but today is 1÷16÷2015… 7 days sitting unrefrigerated for the whole day and it’s bread pudding. SEVENDAYS! I also notice they probably recycle the hot foods they cook at the buffet like area. For example, one day there is a tray of very lightly cooked chicken breast, and then the same chicken but a bit more cooked(darker) the next day, and again the day after and even darker. It is like they save the food and just reheat it or make a different dish with the unsold food. The prices are just disrespectful I think. Way over priced. Especially when all of their food has GMO’s in them when I read the labels. I felt food poisoning symptoms like 3 times, so I know I can’t shop here. I thought it was fresh natural/organic foods, but my experience has clearly showed me the opposite. If I am going to pay so much, I want quality food that doesn’t sit out for days, and not reheated left-overs.

This market is amazing. They have fresh juices and delicious milkshakes. Great healthy lunch options and the bakery will Leave you in love. Perfect place to shop for fresh produce while enjoying a milkshake. If you don’t want to drive far into Kendall aka«middle of nowhere country,»(Totally not true) this place is it.

Always fresh. Great little market with a wide range of healthy organic foods. Full meals or items per lb, either way it’s all good!

Norman brother is unlike any farmers market I have yet to find. The wagyu burgers are some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I like to stop by after church on sundays to pick up the ingredients for my Sunday dinners. It’s a bit pricier than a grocery store, but with good reason.

Been wanting to come here for a longggg time as I live nearby and I finally stopped by to grab some lunch. I picked up a roast beef sandwich which I thought was overly priced($ 7.99) as it was just a normal sub that you could get at Publix for the same price for even bigger. They had a lot of interesting products however, I saw gourmet edible cookie dough, yummy baked sweets, and I also picked up their rice pudding which I got to sample — pumpkin flavored! They had a juice bar as well which was nice to see so I’ll have to return to try that out. Hot food sold by the pound and a lot of organic goodies. The place is small but full of product I would definitely recommend coming to check it out!

What can I say about this organic produce store nothing but the best. When I have a craving on my cheat days which are Fridays I usually get the cinnamon bun. This is heaven! All set for lunch this place is great for salad and for many sandwiches and wraps.

I enjoy buying and eating certain foods from here… However they are a bit pricey. The Mac and cheese is yummy. The food is always fresh. The employees are helpful. However I do wish they had a larger variety.

Purchasing food from deli was out of the question, since I had lunch prior to visiting. Went on to check out the produce and bakery. The produce items are way over priced. I am a trader joes/publix shopper and no way I would pay so much money for produce at this location. A small box of cupcakes caught my eye, and I really wanted to try something to fully experience this place, but $ 15, for a small box of mini tiny muffins? no way! Service: The staff at register were not welcoming, nor helpful. The food might be «great», but I won’t be return just for that. I didn’t see indoor seating, and it’s 90 something degrees out(did see some picnic tables on opposite side of store).

I had a veggie wrap with grilled chicken, arugula, grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms, too with provolone cheese and dress with chipotle mayo, I loved it! 100% recommended, besides I’m very glad to support a local business. This is definitely THEFRESHAPPROACH

Everything you get here is fresh and delicious. The smoothies and milkshakes are amazing and all their sandwiches are made on the spot. Highly recommend«The Derby» on multigrain bread

Attention Farmers Market Lovers! Nothing but fresh produce, vegetables, meats, seafood, and prepared food made daily. Nice size market with fresh local products. Nice variety of prepared foods and soups made daily. They also have a bakery inside with fresh made pastries, cakes, chocolates, breads, and sweets! You can also get a fresh made Boars Head sandwich made on a variety of breads with toppings. Plus they have different displays of meats and seafood to bring home and prepare a delicious meal for you or your family. They also have a counter where you can get fresh made shakes made with various fruits and your choice of ice cream or yogurt. On the weekends they also do bbq meats and ribs made on a gutted old firetruck turned into a grill. The staff is friendly greeting you from the minute you walk in. Plenty of parking and gets busy during lunch hours so phone your order ahead of time if you’re in a time crunch!

For all your STONECRABS needs, Norman Brothers’ is the place to go. The quality is unparalleled. I have been a consumer(and a fan) for years, and have never had an issue. The mustard is as delicious as it can be! The best part is the cracking. You can have them cracked and packed for @home munchin’ without needing to be shy to expose yourself on public places! There is nothing better than getting down and dirty with your crab! The Wakame salad is also another big hit! Don’t leave without it.

My first experience with Norman Brothers’ produce was many years ago. I was at a friend’s house and his mom came home with these succulent apples, so plump and firm that I just had to bite into them. She actually didn’t mind, as a matter of fact, she offered one to me. I enjoyed them so much, that I made a mental note of the name printed on the grocery bags. Not long after that, I was with a group of friends and we were picking somebody up. Someone else was driving and I was just going along for the ride. We ended up at this barn house looking supermarket, with the big name on the front that read«Norman Brothers Produce». I somewhat made the connection, but I was not very sure to what. While all my friends were talking about the plans for the night, I went inside the supermarket and grabbed an apple. I paid for it, took a bite, and yep, it was the same as the apples I had at my friend’s house. Over the years, I would stop at Norman Brothers intermittently, either because I was looking for a hard to find ingredient that might be available here, or because I was just in the area. To be a small supermarket, Norman Brothers is very well stocked, and they have some of the best stuff in town. For example, I think that because of the quality and uniqueness of the cheeses available, they have one of the best cheese selections at a supermarket. The bakery is also the best supermarket bakery, and stands right next to The Fresh Market, maybe a bit better. The hot food section has some really good food, and the desserts are also really good. But the best area, also carrying a great selection, and no competition, it’s the produce. They not only have great produce, but they have some of the most rare and hard to find vegetables out there. And, they have very fresh herbs available. If that wasn’t enough, all the produce is very well priced. Norman Brothers also has an outstanding selection of dry pastas, jams and preserves, fruits, and cold cuts. There is a fish and a meat counter, but I have never purchased anything there, although I have seen the selection and I think it’s fabulous. The one thing about Norman Brothers that makes them stand second to none is that everything sold here is always of the best quality possible. This supermarket is like a foodie boutique where you find the best products from small dairy farms from the Midwest, charcutiers from the West Coast, canners and bottlers of preserves, fisheries, etc. It is all top quality stuff, and sometimes, very rare, and always very well priced. My favorite grocery without doubt.

50⁄50 burger chipotle aioli sauce and sliced avocado with bacon strips on an onion bun cooked medium. Yea that hits the spot. ***caution after eating this heavenly creation*** all other burgers are not the same, your tastes buds will be forever transformed…

They have the best sammiches! Don’t let the size fool you. I love coming here on a weekday, its like a personal treat. The staff members are also extremely nice and helpful. Lets not forget that this store is extremely clean, you can literally eat off the floor. Can’t wait to be back.

Stopped by here for the first time today for lunch. Headed straight for the deli at the back of the store and ordered a chicken salad wrap. It had… a lot of mayonnaise in it. I didn’t like the wrap or the chicken salad, but it was a good enough serving size and came with a pickle; I’d like to go back and try some of their other sandwiches on different specialty breads. As soon as I picked up my wrap I turned around and saw the hot food specials for the day and immediately regretted getting a cold sandwich. The display case had many delicious-appearing items staring out at me from spinach ravioli in pink sauce to orange ginger chicken wings. I came back after work specifically for a milkshake; I had been craving one all day after walking past the juice bar on my way out of the store. Ordered a strawberry milkshake(you have a choice of making it with frozen yogurt or ice cream; I got ice cream of course) and it was amazing! The fresh strawberry flavor really comes through. The 16 oz size will set you back about $ 5 and who knows how many calories, but it’s well worth it. Really delicious way to end a long day. The service, the parking, the lines were all way better than expected and my experience was overall quick, convenient, and good at this family owned and run market. All in all, I loved the milkshake, did not care for the sandwich, and will definitely go back for more milkshakes and to explore their other prepared foods, the bakery, and their produce section.
