Terrible costumer service.
Been emailing back and forth with them for over a month now.
I purchased this pair of sandals (see pic) and they begun to peel just days after purchasing.
When you first email their costumer service, they reply quickly by letting you know that another customer service department will get back to you. I’ve continued to email back and forth with customer service #1, as customer service #2 keeps saying that they cannot reach me. This is incredibly odd considering that I am emailing just fine with customer service #1. I’ve also provided my cell # since day 1, no one wants to call.
Never purchasing anything at this store again. Not with this costumer service.

Ehh… one out of ten times I find something here. At first glance, the store looks like it has so much to offer but once you start looking and trying on stuff, everything’s just ehh. Their original prices are absolutely outrageous. This is just like the Express scheme where you usually only get a good deal if you come in with a coupon or wait for a sale. In these cases, you should know that you’re getting ripped off if neither one is occurring. I bought a very simple black dress this past week for $ 20 that was supposedly originally priced at $ 80. I would have never in my right mind paid that much for a very simple black dress. Also, the fitting rooms are quite gross. And I’ve come home happy only to find out a few days later that the skirt I bought was torn. What an inconvenience it is to find the receipt and go all the way back to the store to request a refund or exchange. I’ll continue to come here only as a last resort, when I really can’t find anything elsewhere.

This place is my go to place for work clothes, although a recent incident with a manager has put a damp on my shopping excitement. I went twice in one day due to a sale they were having. The night time manager (a blonde) would not accept my coupon even after the day time manager had already accepted it and it had been approved by their POS system. The night time manager disrespected me and other customers with a condescending tone and made us feel as if our business was not appreciated. She also told us that coupon codes from «RetailMeNot» and other sites were counterfeit and were not welcome. This lady should not be managing a store where sales is the main goal. My suggestion is to go during the day or on the weekend.

I discovered this store a few days ago when I needed dressy/​work clothes. This store is very neat and organized, and they have so much — i fell in love with the entire store minus the shorts with the purple flowers all over them!
The prices are decent some clothing pieces can be a bit high but I think it is worth it. Now the sales they have are awesome! Buy 1 get the other 75% off, part of the jewelry selection is 75% off, and the other is buy 1 get 1 75% off… This whole week they have had sales and especially this weekend since it is memorial day weekend. So I suggest you go!
Whether you need work clothes, want to have a couple flirty tops and dresses, this is the place to go.
The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because there was only 1 person at the cashier with a line of 12 people…

I went here to purchase business attire after consulting with one of my co-​workers who is always dressed very nice. I found exactly what I was looking for they have petite sizes which for me was awesome. I don’t have to drag my pants at the bottom or have them hemmed. The prices can range a bit but the quality of the clothes are exceptional. They have the latest fashions and carry exquisite accessories. Got to have those accessories! They also have good suits. New York and Company is one of those stores you can find ANYTHING in.
I really like their collection of work clothes. They are modern and sophisticated. It is all very good quality and will last for years!
My mom and aunt are big fans of New York and Company. They love to say «Just because they are in their fifties doesn’t mean they have to dress like old ladies!» That’s why they love New York and Company!
