A wonderful, little hidden place. The service is very nice, and the place is spot-on clean and intimate. The food can be cheap or expensive, depending on how you go. They’re very kind and give a free appetizer, which are some crackers with some meat(ham or salami, not sure but very good nonetheless, lol). If you just order a panini, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. They look larger than they appear, and they fill you up. The mango juice is very good and addicting, so try not to order too many of them. The gelato is very, very good, but it can be a little pricy, but I think it’s worth it, considering there’s a lot of different and unique flavors like coconut, tiramasu, and classic chocolate, and the texture was soft and plush(odd adjectives?). But be careful, when you order a panini, make sure to not ask for chips because they charge you an extra dollar and they don’t even mention it when ordering it or on the menu. It’s happened like 3 times already, so just be careful. The food can take long too, so just be patient, it’s worth it.

As longtime residents of the neighborhood where this gelato place is located, we visited the shopping center on Thursday, 12÷29÷10. We pulled into a parking spot that said«customer only», we are customers of the whole shopping center so the sign applied to us. There was a tall, Argentinian or Uruguayan man unloading products from his vehicle into Mucci’s; he told us in no uncertain terms that those 3 parking spots belonged to Mucci’s Gelato and that we couldn’t park there. I retorted with the fact that none of the parking spaces specified they were only for his shop. He was nasty, he didn’t know if we had ever patronized his shop or not, I guess he didn’t care how he came across in a public area in full view of other patrons. Two women stopped by to comment to us on the incident saying how rude he was. If this is how this man behaves in public, good luck to all those who choose to patronize his business. We spent $ 45.00 tonight, ½/10, at Tropical Chinese Restaurant in the same shopping center, a business we’ve been patronizing since 1984. I guess Mucci’s won’t be seeing much of us inside; they will be seeing lots of us outside as we will continue to park wherever we please and not give them one cent of our hard-earned money. Nasty, nasty!

What a fun place. I tried several flavors and went for the double big scoop. The music was great and I had a wonderful time talking with a friend for a few hours. The coffee is excellent as well. Buck the corporate experience in the stars and stay local. You won’t regret it!

service is excellent and unlike anywhere else in the area. very quaint and almost seems out of place for westchester, considering it’s a small mom and pop establishment with lots of one on one friendly service and small town come back yawl feel. seems like they have traveled outside of miami before, got a special touch hard to find in miami. as for the food, didn’t get to try it but the gelato was delicious. i’m coming back to try the pizza, will keep you posted.

I have friends that have been raving about this place for months. I finally made it out to see what all the fuss was about and I wasn’t impressed. I should learn not to believe the hype. The atmosphere is nice; it’s quiet and intimate, the staff is wonderful and very friendly. My friends are there quite often, so our whole group was treated like family. They have indoor and outdoor seating and were willing to accomodate our party of 10. I ordered the Rosemary Panini and a frozen lemonade. For the table, we ordered a ham pizza. The food was decent, but I’ve had better panini’s at Camielle’s(which used to be on campus at FIU). The pizza was far from what I was expecting. On the plus side, the sandwiches are huge; I only ate half and was full. The frozen lemonade was delicious. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu. I was not impressed with that either, but I don’t like tiramisu to begin with. I tasted a couple of the flavors of gelato(hazlenut and chocolate), and that is the only thing that may bring me back. I was pleasantly surprised! It was just as good as(or better than) Gelataria Parmalat and so much closer. I don’t think I’d be back for lunch or dinner, but its a cool spot for dessert if you’re in the mood for something different from Coldstone.

Mucci’s is conveniently located near a number of restaurants and shops; the shop is clean and attractive; they offer a nice range of flavors; and the service is excellent. Unfortunately, the gelato on my visit just wasn’t very good. The texture was off from a lot of tiny little ice crystals. Flavors also nowhere near as good as, say, Gelateria Parmalat’s(or, for that matter, some of the higher-priced ice creams from the supermarket). Worth a stop if you happen to be in the area and are looking for a dessert shop, but not worth traveling across town.

Very impressed by their wide range of selection of food and desserts. Westchester did not really need a Gelato Place but I’m glad that the first one to pop up is an outstanding establishment. It’s a small location with a very family oriented décor, I had the stramboloccia & armaretto gelatos and the quality was excellent. It had a genuine Italian texture that is hard to find at other gelato places. I wish the owner the best of luck and hope that you all get to try this new gem in Westchester.
