Worst service. As soon as we sat down a lady came up to take our order and said«are you ready» … She got our drinks wrong 3 times and we went straight to the bar and the bartender was extremely rude!!! I will never come here again.

Drinks are good but they still should have a little more alcohol and less ice for the price you pay!

We went to the bar after the Heat game. No waitress or waiter after 15min we order a picher of mojito for 5 people but we got only 4 glasses and a half!!! This bar sucks, we will never go again. They attract you with a good atmosphere but the service sucks.

First, my boyfriend and I like the Mojitos there so much that we returned a few hours later for a second pitcher. My boyfriend and I were in Miami for a few days. At about 4pm we ordered a pitcher at this bar, as we sat and relaxed. I paid the bill with my American Express. A few hours later we go back, just because. Once ready to leave, I pull out my American Express to pay, I am told that«this bar does not accept American Express». Had I not JUSTPAID by American Express a few hours earlier, I would have let it slide. I informed the bar tender that I had paid with my American Express earlier that day. He told me that I was wrong, and had I paid with American Express then I got free drinks. Luckily, I had my MasterCard on me, so I did not have to go looking for a bank machine. The reason for the low score is because I would have looked like a «bum» if I didn’t have other credit cards on me. Staff should know what cards their companies accept. Well, the very next morning when looking at my credit card account, sure enough my American Express card was billed(for my 4pm drinks). The reason for the low score is due to the American Express fiasco. Will not revisit this bar when in Miami again.

Absolutely love the mojito bar! It a little bit on the pricey side the the drinks are well worth it. I sat at the bar and there were 3 bartenders. They were all very polite and friendly and very attentive. My favorite bartender was Tony, he made a slamming remy mojito. They do not serve food but they will have a waiter from another restaurant come and take your food order. They have a DJ that’s plays upbeat music some got up and danced. Definitely not a stuck up atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

This place should be called ripoff bar instead of mojito bar!!! We have been here before about 3 years ago and it didn’t use to be this expensive… We ordered a classic mojito and one passion fruit mojito. The menu is super deceiving the mojitos are advertised for $ 9 but then when the waiter takes your order she ask you what size do you want it… small, medium, or large So we told her medium assuming they would be $ 12 to $ 15 dollars max but nooooo they were $ 22 and plus they add you 15% tip for mediocre service. Our waiter was not the friendliest she had an attitude. The mojitos were water down. I do not recommend this place and will not be coming back as this is not a way of doing business. Super tourist trap this is a place that gives Miami a bad reputation.

I came here before I went to a concert to meet up with my friends and have a few drinks. The mojitos were all sooooo sweet that everyone only had one. The drinks were suppose to be half off and when we looked at the menu the price read 9 dollars so its was safe to say that we were all surprised when we received our bill and everyone was charged about 12 dollars. When we asked the bar tender he said it was because we could take home the cup. Then we were all really confused because none of us asked for this take home and to be quite honest none of us really wanted it because it was a hassle to take to the concert but because we didn’t want to argue with him everyone paid their check and we left. Safe to say I won’t be coming back. The mojitos weren’t good and I wasn’t happy at all with the whole cup situation. Oh and I forgot to mention. The bar tender at one point came out from behind the bar and didn’t ask but kind of implied that he was going to take a picture with us which we thought was really weird and kind of creepy since we already weren’t satisfied with our drinks.

«Another Round Please !!!» Stopped in for drinks after having taken in an afternoon at BAYSIDE and were we glad we did !! The 32oz Mojito– their specialty signature drink was not only a great price $ 15.00 for the happy hour, $ 30.00 during non happy hour, but it lived up to its name and is made with Don Q Rum– Exceptionally aged Puerto Rican Rum. Was not weak at all. great price, bartenders and definitely beautiful waitress —– Bella!!! you get to keep the tall glass too. so it makes it an even better deal during Happy Hour We’ll another round please !!! — - a stop you must make while at Bay Side… Visited August 2015

Went here on the last day of my vacation. I had the Mango mojito and my girlfriend had the coconut mojito. My mojito was refreshing with not a lot of mint and just the right amount of sugar. Hers was a little off tasting. I don’t like mint and sugar with coconut. Overall it was a good experience without a lot of people.

STAYAWAY!!! You will get ripped off. When you walk in you see the menu on the wall and drinks say $ 9 or $ 12. Went there last night and asked for 3 coconut mojitos that sounded like they would be great. Bartender asked me if I wanted regular or large thinking large wouldn’t be that much expensive I asked for large. OMG when I got the bill my heart sank to my stomach it was $ 120. It was a stick up in the middle of the day. Not to mention that the price was ridiculous but the drinks barely had any alcohol in them. Then when we wanted to sit at the tables we were told we couldn’t sit there because that was only for people that order drinks from servers. So we moved to the couches and were told that they were only for parties of 10 – 15 people. The staff there is horrible. I just spend $ 120 and the only place I was allowed to sit at was the bar. I will never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Good music but the drinks outside of the happy hour are a total and complete ripoff! The menu shows mojito prices at $ 9. The server told us that that’s for the small size, and made a small sign with her fingers to make it seem like the smash drink was tiny. So we ordered«medium» pictured here. The bill came… $ 20 and $ 22 for a medium? And the medium apparently had 2.5 ounces of alcohol. In this glass, that meant at least 10 – 14 ounces of water! Ripoff… Complete tourist trap. It’s sad because this place used to be so much better years ago.

Located in the popular Bayside Marketplace. With that said just know that this is a tourist trap and yes I fell right into it. Hey, what can I say? I was in the neighborhood, it was happy hour and I was thirsty. Lol. A fun atmosphere with male workers dancing and hyping up the crowd. Happy Hour exists but it still ends up being pricy. On top of that the mojitos are watered down. So not worth the money that’s spent. I would probably not come here again. I’ll be on the hunt to find a real, local bar to enjoy happy hour !

This place is a rip-off and a tourist trap!!! We had three medium mojito’s and a non-alcoholic drink and the bill was a whopping $ 97 — that’s crazy for 3 – 4 drinks!(that amount includes a mandatory service charge — but shockingly you are encouraged to leave a regular tip too). At first, we thought there was a bill mistake and said something to the waitress, who proceeded to bring us over a menu and snootily hand it to us(apparently these complaints happen all the time). The drink menus are highly misleading as to the price of the mojito’s(they list the price in a small font on a different line). And to boot, the drinks were just OK and nothing to write home about. They have a DJ at the place playing too-loud bad music so I suppose you are paying for that too. Lastly, the bar-height chairs were back-less and very uncomfortable, and I hear that sitting at one of their plastic tables on a plastic chair cost an additional $ 12! Don’t bother with this tourist rip-off.

Super overpriced even during happy hour. Two mojitos for a tender price of 20 bucks during HH! Mojitos were ok nothing amazing. Super touristy area as its in Bayside and right near a tour boat dock.

Fellow Unilocaler Cindy mentioned this hoppin’ place. When my auntie decided to show me around Miami, I had to try it. Nice décor, located in an outdoors shopping mall called Bayside — TOURISTY! They’re located in a good location, caught our attention. I don’t mind looking like a tourist, that’s why I’m here. Yes, the prices for mojitos are steep, at least it satisfied my cravings for a fun mojito atmosphere. This place hit the spot; however, they don’t serve food. Since this mall is huge with plenty of restaurants to choose from and a food court upstairs, I didn’t mind sippin’ their mojitos before dinner. Tony & Leilani make a great team, good times had by all. Live DJ got the crowd going, and people started dancing in the bar — nobody was shy. I would definitely come back to this place, as I was content with the entertainment and surrounding eateries. My girlfriend and I had a blast, and we thought why did we leave for Miami Beach, which was a total bummer. Mojito Bar is more my scene and loungin’ is my thing. Thank you for great time!

Mojito bar is a lively spot in bayside to stop for a refreshing mojito & enjoy the atmosphere. Every time that I have gone, I have found the music to be on point! They usually have a dj that plays a good Latin mix during happy hour. The coconut mojito and the original are my two favorites. Definitely one of the spots in bayside to check out!

The mojito they served me was so watered down and not very tasty. The drink also tastes bitter which makes me suspect the lines they use aren’t fresh at all. The service took a long time. The price would have been ok had the drink not been so diluted.

Would not rwcommend. After paying 85 dollars for two Mojitos I was told I need to pay an additional 15 dollars to sit at a table when 4 tables were vacant Would not recommend. Buyers beware

Why would you name yourself Mojito bar and serve mediocre mojitos? Seriously, there should be a law that says that if you name yourself something you should be the best at it. Then in top of that, the drinks are not cheap at all. The location is great and the views are great.

I love this place as a first time visitor. Bartender was friendly, drinks were great and atmosphere was high energy. Loved that I could go here while I waited for the boat ride a few feet away. Will definitely go back for another visit. I will say that the 3 stars are only because the Mojito Bar light up cup was pretty expensive but it was worth the contribution to my great vacation and you take it as souvenir.
