The food is ok. I came here with a group of friends one Sunday. I was told the the restaurant was a favorite of the organizer of this group outing. I ordered pancakes and other things. I’m somewhat of a picky eater and I didn’t like their pancakes. I would not have ever come here if it was recommended by the group organizer. The prices are really good but I just wasn’t impressed. Also, we had a big group and we couldn’t sit in the only section that was available because the air conditioning didn’t work in that area. So we all had to cramp between 2 different tables. I likely won’t come here again.

In for breakfast mid morning on Saturday. Open from 6AM to 4PM 7 day a week. Good menu and prices are average for the area. They were not real busy but service was kind of slow and I had to ask for last cup of coffee. This building used to be a Lum’s Restaurant years ago and hasn’t had much remodeling since. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, home fries, ham steak toast and coffee $ 9.94 plus tax and tip. Cooked just right and flavorful. Nice folks. I would go back.

I didn’t think it was possible to mess up breakfast, but they did. My sunny side up eggs were uncooked. I know that they tend to be on the clear side a little, but these were almost completely clear. I paid about $ 10 for two eggs and two pieces of sausage when I could have paid a little more than half of that anywhere else. The sausage was cold and it was beef when I asked for pork. The people weren’t rude, but they weren’t polite or friendly either.

Not impressed. I was initially turned off by the condition of the utensils. The rim of my cup was literally chewed up. On top of that, they screwed up my order. I asked for my eggs with no cheese. I ordered the french toast. Terrible. It tasted like it had been cooked in bacon grease. The waitress brought our receipt before she asked us if we were done. No one checked on us throughout the service. I will NOT return here!

I love this damn place I dont come here too often but when I do I always have a good experience. I walk in this morning and I’m greeted by name and the waitress remember’s what I always order without me saying anything! Gotta love it

I haven’t been a while. Used to go with an ex-​boyfriend for breakfast. Overall its decent.
I do like the restaurant setting; family style, with booths and TVs. The place has a warm feeling to it.
Their food is a step up above Esther’s. I’ve really only had breakfast, but it’s good. They have boiled fish and grits, waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage (I’m getting hungry) REAL potato hash browns, corn beef hash.(I have to change the subject, my mouth is watering now)
The service was good, from what I remember. Our waitress remembered what we liked to drink and knew what not to ask.
Again it was overall decent, I’ll have to update this Saturday maybe ;)
