I usually don’t write reviews about restaurants that I don’t like, but I used to LOVE Mia Café and have to explain that the quality has been decreasing consistently until now where it is at its lowest. At 9:30 am on a Saturday morning, any Saturday theses days it seems, they are completely out of everything. I haven’t been able to order my favorite egg and cheese croissant in many visits. Now even the coffee is bad and the mini patties are cold and without flavor. They’ve become quite the lackluster gas station pit stop. Avoid stopping here indefinitely.

Cool little neighborhood café that is great to grab a quick bite. Has fresh juices and coffee, salads, sandwiches and some baked goods. Give it a try if you are in the neighborhood.

Don’t let the looks fool you. Just because it’s near a gas station. Don’t think you’ll be getting gas station quality food. Very cool little spot for coffee and breakfast or just a quick bite to eat. Place was clean and the service was nice. I had a delicious omelette with coffee while waiting for my car to get new shoes. Definitely worth the stop if your in the hood

Great healthy and tasty options on this small family owned business. Great price on their breakfast menu. Lots of Argentinian pastries as well.

So this is me in Florida on a business trip, deciding to go out and explore. The gps I got along with the rental car only does directions from one specific street address to another, not from one city to another, and I’m rying to figure out how to get from fort lauderdale(sp?) to miami after a hard day’s work. This is me, lost as hell. Stumble on Mia’s café and pull over thinking«hey, maybe they have wifi! the internet will know where i am!» and sure enough they do. They also have empanadas(think pot pie turnover) which are pretty damn tasty and very friendly service. Two thumbs up!

I was getting an oil change next door and we had about an hour to kill. With no car, and at an awkward location in the area with nothing to safely walk to, we stopped in at Mia Café next door to pass the time. My brother ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich on a croissant, and I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Both were pretty good. My brother’s sandwich had been sitting out next to the counter next to various baked goods, and they just heated it up and served it. It wasn’t as good as my salad which tasted pretty fresh. The chicken was the only thing on the salad that wasn’t really appetizing. It was definitely frozen chicken. The greens, tomatoes, and cucumber were more than enough for around $ 7. They have a lot to choose from with coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and salads.

Nice place for a quick coffee on the road or a sandwich. Good and friendly service. They are by the gas station but it’s not a classic gas station store. Worth the visit!

Been here multiple times since this review and wanted to post an update. They expanded their menu and the staff is still very friendly like the day they opened. I am now a fan and frequent visitor.

I really like going here on my days off for coffee. They make Lavazza on a Marzocco, so you know they at least did their research. They also make fresh squeezed orange juice, apple juice, carrot juice, etc… along with an array of wraps, sandwiches and salads. Given the area, don’t be surprised that there’s no ham on the menu. It shares a building with a gas station, so I’ve often overheard the employees telling confused looking people that gas is paid for next door… Three stars because even though the food and coffee are good, the prices are a bit high for what you get.

Watching the staff put in ALLTHAT effort to make ONE glass of orange juice is worth the visit by itself. The sandwiches are good for lunch, especially the tuna melt panini, however they are a bit pricey(for what you get). Overall, they have friendly service and good food! These other reviewers are just HATERS!

I actually really love their sandwiches but I’m not digging the extremely sloppy and slow service even IF it is during lunch hours. On the flip side, the juice must be amazing. Part of ordering my lunch comes with the ritual of taking the opportunity to admire the contraption they hold behind the counter. This last visit was shocking. The latest juicer they have is… very heavy duty… to say the least. Staff is still very friendly, just a tad bit unorganized.

My rating system(5 is the best) Food=4 //Service=N/A //Attitude=4 //Crowd=Normal //Consistency=Yes //Bathrooms=N/A //Overrated=No Nice people and very good subs. They also have a good tuna salad. Price are on the cheap… so you better try it before they get wise and raise them.

I like Mia Café because it doesn’t feel like it’s situated next to a gas station. It’s a decent spot to stop by, have a coffee, and maybe grab a sandwich. Where Mia Café succeeds is in it’s customer service. The staff is very friendly, offers some good suggestions, and they’re quick to serve you. I work next door and I can walk there at any moment, but for those who don’t, it is worth to stop by if you’re looking for a damn good café latte. I’ve tried a sandwich and a salad, and both are okay. Nothing spectacular, and definitely not bad. Their bread tastes like its very good quality, but that’s about it. I see myself trying just about everything else on the menu(just out of convenience) over the next couple of weeks, so we’ll see how they fare. So far… so good.
