Very cool shared workspace environment that I visited for the annual FEAST event. They have a small theater upstairs where the dinner was held. Easy to find, in an up-and-coming area, plenty of street parking. They had a cool little area in the front with couches, books, pool table. If you need small office space, in a cool environment, this may be your spot.

I had heard of this urban workspace just recently from a friend but really did not know what the idea meant in practice. We went to a Unilocal event at MADE and now I fully understand and love the idea. This happening place was warm, friendly and full of minds of creativity and innovation. We wondered around the halls a bit and saw really interesting things and people. Located in the north end of Little Haiti in Miami, MADE has room for everyone.

This is my kind of coworking space! Driving through Little Haiti, you’d probably miss MADE if you didn’t know what you’re looking for but once you arrive, you know you’re someplace special. This two-story biz houses private workspaces and a yoga studio on the top, and a rec room, living room/library type area, kitchen, art gallery, and more down below. Walking around, it almost feels like you’ve walked into someones really cool home. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $ 25 for a day pass, to $ 550 per month for an office space for 2 – 10 people. What’s so unique about this space is the crowd you’ll find inside. From the folks behind the A&E District happenings and awesome local artists, to fashion designers and even a radio station, they’re all here. On my last visit, I walked into people building a set for a new play in the very large studio space down below… So cool! Overall, MADE has such a vibrant energy where you feel like everyone is creating something really special. On top of that, regular programming brings people together including live performances, entrepreneurship panels, figure drawing classes, sewing classes, and more! Check out the calendar online to follow along. If there comes a time when I feel like I can commit to a workspace, MADE will definitely be my spot.

Unique Space. Located North Upper East Side(aka Little Haiti). Communal Kitchen — Comfy Furniture. Artistic Vibe. I am so excited to welcome this place to my own neighborhood! Little Haiti is really showing promise in its emergence into the creative and design world. FINALLY. I visited MADE at the Citadel on their opening night event and absolutely fell in love with the charm and simplicity of the interior. The workspaces are made from repurposed, raw materials(recycled doors turned into tabletops, etc.) and the décor is minimalistic. The private workspaces are quaint and do not seem to be very well sound-proofed(walls extend only halfway up to the ceiling), so I do not know if this is ideal for all business purposes/uses. I can imagine this place being very sought-after as an open-forum, free-spirited work environment for artists, entrepreneurs, and students alike. I am eager to see the place utilized to its full potential and hope to visit again soon. Cheers!
