Los Verdes

After one visit to this place, my friend and i were hooked! we’ve been coming to this place almost regularly. everything we’ve tried on the menu so far has left us craving more. the one thing i would say is that without their special sauces the food would be plain and sort of bland.
Our food does take some time to get to our table, but with one waiter what’s there to do. The staff is fantastic and super attentive, to their own ability (again there’s usually only one person at the counter and it does get pretty busy sometimes)
This is our favorite place to eat out at the moment!!!

Los Verdes has the potential to be a bad ass late night Columbian diner, but it needs some fine tuning before I can give it a 4 or 5 star rating. Also since I had take out, my advice to all, this is one of those places where it’s better when eaten fresh from the kitchen. It didn’t help much that the waitress told me she would take out my food to me in my car and half hour later my food was sitting on a rack getting cold.
So although the food was not good with take out I will be back to eat it in their restaurant. Being a sauce man love how they have squeeze bottles of a pineapple purée, a cilantro sauce and what tasted to me like a ketchup/​mayo sauce. Another thing I loved is they are open late and out in West Kendall not many places are open after midnight.
Loved the fact how they sprinkle crushed Potatoe chips on most of their dishes. I hated how the place was packed and only 2 waiters to handle the whole place. Overall there were some things I liked and some things I didn’t. I plan on curing many a future hangover here so if they scheduled an extra waitress I’m pretty sure I would bump it up to 4 stars easy.

I ordered sweet potatoes fries and a Colombian Sausage Arepa. ($ 5.95 for one aprea!) I was not impressed with the food. It was lacking homemade taste. Staff was very friendly. The waiter gave me a free samples of empanada which was also lacking.

My friends and I went here last night after playing at arcade odyssey. Los verdes is a clean place, with a friendly staff that is willing to explain the dishes to non Hispanic patrons who don’t know what a «parrilla de carne» is. I was delightfully surprised that the parilla de carne had enough steak to last me through the whole salad bowl. I recommend to check this place out. Oh, and order some of the hot sauce that comes with empanadas and put it on anything. Taste really good.

Increíble lugar, limpio y con buen ambiente, muy recomendado, les r comprendo los hotdogs verdes y la hamburguesa verdolaga, las mejores que probado!!! Esta tan buenas que mi hicieron comentar y yo en verdad no soy mucho de eso.

The food here is very delicious. I liked that they had a variety of Colombian dishes to choose from. The prices are great and the service was fast. I would definitely come back for more in the future.

My boyfriend and I don’t dine in much, we usually just order take out. Claudia, one of the managers, is a breath of fresh air and she’s attentive, friendly, and never gets our order wrong.
Whenever we do dine in, the servers are also attentive and check on you frequently.
Place is perfect for me because I work so late and whenever I’m in the mood for good food at a decent price, it’s my definite go to.
You can never go wrong with their burgers or maicitos.
Pass by if you haven’t. They’re open late!

Customer service depends on the time you come in but usually it’s a ⁷⁄₁₀. Food is always delicious and the sauces are what makes everything 10x better.

Los verdes is usually open late which is a big plus. They have a variety of options to chose from. You can chose from tequeños to arepas. There’s also hot dogs and burgers and they come with a Colombian twist. I recommend maicitos as its one of my favorites. You can get it with no meat if you’re vegetarian. If you’re a carnivore you can get it with one, two, or 3 meat types. Their sauces are also fantastic. They have a green, a pink, and a pineapple sauce.
No Colombian restaurant is complete without Colombian sodas. We love to indulge in a postobon when we come here. They have apple and grape. Both of which are fire!

Just delicious. Late night, I got the munchies and need something incredibly saucey and delicious kinda food.
My go-​tos are the sausage fries, quesediilas, and maicitos all with extra pink, yellow, green, and white sauce. The sauces are PARAMOUNT to this experience.

I ordered their steak bowl. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, steak (duh), and shoestring potatoes. Also ordered a side of their plain «maicito». Let me get this out of the way — there was NOTHING «plain» about it. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was lightning speed. I was greeted over the phone by a upbeat, friendly personnel. Yes, it was pricey for take out, but worth every penny.
Will definitely be ordering again.

One of my favorite late night Colombian food stops. Its fast food but in a chill restaurant atmosphere.
My favorite is the Verdolaga burger that consist of burger, chicken breast, ham, bacon, cheese and coleslaw.
This place really knows what they are doing food is always fresh service is always on point and staff is very interactive.

I have not physically been to the restaurant but ordered delivery many times. I love the fact that they have late night delievery. A different change from ordering pizza late at night.
This place has your typical Columbian street foods and it is very good. I love getting the Macitos because I think it is healthier option lol. The quesadillas are very good as well. They come also with the typical sauces: pick sauce, sometime of greenish sauce, and the lovely pineapple sauce. Everything tastes better with the pineapple sauce.
However delievery may take some time last time I ordered they said it would take an hour. But the guy wasn’t any longer than an hour so I wasn’t upset or anything.
Would order here again because of the convinence and food is not bad!

Conozco el nombre y la comida de Los Verdes por su sede en Miami Lakes, esta fue mi primera expreriencia en la sede de Kendall. el servicio fue rapido a amable, yo ordena la carne asada (tipo churrasco) con papitas que estuvo deliciosa y jugosa, los otros miembros del grupo pidieron hamburguesas, se le advirtio a la mesera que la querian bien cocinada (well done) pero no quemada, pues cuando las trajeron precisamente estaban casi carbonizadas y secas, No quisimos esperar para que la cambiaran, solo dejo saber esto para que en la cocina pongan mas cuidado con los tiempos de coccion.

Came here right before going to the Miami Zoo. We ordered fries to share — regular ones as well as the ones with sausages. The sausage ones were not worth it as they were probably 2 – 3 dollars more, but the fries are the exact same.
For entrees, I got the mini hot dogs. They’re $ 7.50 for 3 of them. One has cole slaw, one has fries, and one has onions. Friends ordered the three mini burgers, which was $ 8.75. Prices are reasonable and you’re certainly full afterwards.
All in all, pretty good and worth a try!

For those that follow, you know that the Sunday routine is church and then out to lunch. Today we were on a time crunch so we decided to try Los Verdes. Glad we did.
We used to hit up the Mediterranean restaurant that occupied this locale on a regular basis. After they changed to Italian fusion, things went down hill. Oh well, this review is for Los Verdes.
The location has been redone with new flooring, counter areas and tables/​seating. The space is bright, full of TVs and playing trendy music. A little louder thank your typical food spot, but not as overwhelming as Le Prepago.
The food was great. We ordered the todo quesadilla, Patacon with pork rinds, arepa stuffed with shredded beef, kids hot dogs with onion rings and the burger with fries. All of the food was great and servings wet plentiful.
Overall a great experience. Best of all, owner is a Christian and the influence of the faith is scattered throughout. The sleeves of the uniform are adorned with the fish symbol and the bill closes with «Believe in Jesus!!!»
Will definitely continue to support this place.

Great Colombian burgers. The maicito (if you like corn) is a must have.
Very happy about this new location as the coral way one was a bit far from me.
My 3 ½ year old daughter loves hotdogs, and really enjoys the ones from this place. I usually just request it to have less toppings since she is not a fan of toppings all that much.
I have tried several items on the menu, always satisfied.

So far I love this place conveniently in my hood. The food is very interesting and has many things I have never tried before!
Like the corn which cheese and your choice of meat! We also had the three mini dog sliders with different toppings! can we say yummy! I can’t wait to go back! they have amazing hours they’re open like until the morning stuff! they also deliver! Word!
I hope we don’t lose them Like the other places at the same location.
I like this place the food is good and the people that work there have a very positive friendly attitude which I appreciate.

The only reason why I wouldn’t eat at this place is because it was so far away but now I’m doomed. I foresee many nights of cheat meals which will consist of delicious food that sparks that deep nostalgia to hop on the first plane and go back to Medellin Colombia– my true home.
So what can you expect from this place?
Scrumptious hot dogs loaded with crushed potato chips, bacon, cheese, pineapple sauce and quail eggs.
Or please try the empanadas which will not disappoint once you get past the dripping grease– yes I know but believe me open that sucker and put some aji right in the middle and close your eyes while you enjoy the moment.
There are other choices like their quesadillas, steaks, burgers and salads oh and let me not forget desserts!
The place itself is clean, even the bathrooms (massive kudos for that). The staff is super friendly although a little quick to clean the table before everyone has finished.
There’s about 9 huge flatscreen TVs playing the usual sports– mainly soccer (more kudos for that-​hitting the spot with this soccer lover).
All in all, the service was great, fast and I just couldn’t really focus on anything negative because for the time I spent there I truly did feel like I was at home, down the street from my apartment in Laureles (sigh)

Stopped in today after seeing some Unilocalers recommend it. We ordered the 3 mini burgers, 3 mini hot dogs and Salchipapas. Ordered small as I wasn’t familiar with their menu. This is a Medellin. Colombia type of fast food place. Nicely decorated and a big screen tv. Kind of empty as I think it is fairly new; therefore not too many people know about it and that is where U.S. UnilocalERS come in.
Food was good, service was good.
Nothing bad to say on this my first visit.

I’ve been to their other location on 137^th ave and coral way but after seeing they opened up a new location a mile away from my house I had to check it out. Definitely 5 stars. I had the Todo Quesadilla which is a quesadilla with bacon steak and chicken covered in crushed potato chips and their popular sauces.
Great late night food with big portions, Los Verdes is definitely a perfect choice if you’re craving Colombian fast food or a great meal.
