I drove by Lentrecote de Paris in Miami during 3 months and was always closed. Before, there was a paper saying that they were in remodeling the kitchen. Now, there’s no note. I’ve sent several of emails to Lentrecote website and they never responded mim. I’m very upset, because I love this restaurant, but it looks like they don’t care with their customers. Their website is not saying anything as well. Very disappointed.

My favorite restaurant is in Paris and this ones is as near as the original! The steak is soft, juicy and tasteful and with original French fries. Tip is to ask for extra sauce and just pour it in all the fries and steak you will love it! Dish is enough to get totally full :) The atmosphere is nice, great service and you just have to try it as it is very worth it! Love the olive butter with bread!

The best steak on earth!!! Exclusive cut from a legendary L’entrecôte along with exquisite french ambiance!!! Steak is paired with amazing 31-ingredients sauce and real french fries, you won’t try a better steak anywhere else! On top of that they have best desserts in town! Crème brûlée is amazing, and profitroles are magical!!! I came with my beloved on a sunny afternoon and we enjoyed our lunch on an outside patio with a great French music in the background and a glass of French wine. This place is not for everyone, but for those who appreciate the beauty and sophistication of French culture and its cuisine!!!

Outside seating is nice but the construction makes it unbearable. We got the business lunch and it took about 30 minutes. Typically business lunches should be faster than that. The salad is a poor looking dish. It’s about 4 leaves of a lettuce head in a bowl. Service was lack luster at best. I will not be back.

Food was good but nowhere close to the original. Manager was super nice and offered a glass of wine on the house after dinner but waitress was just pushy and not very helpful. Most wines on wine list were not available.

The steak is awful and expensive. Not sure why any one would go here. Even the wine was terrible.

So sad — we stumbled across l’Entrecôte when we were in Paris. The crowds waiting to get in convinced us we should try it. We went back the next night and LOVED it. So when we found out the same owners had one in Miami we couldn’t wait to go. Sadly, it was disappointing. The steaks were just okay, a little tough, and since that is the only thing they serve and what they’re famous for — entrecôte means steak for gosh sakes! — they should be superb. The secret sauce wasn’t delicious or intriguing, and the fries were the best thing on the menu — but if I want good fries I can go to 5 Guys, not pay the high cost of a French restaurant. I’ll give them one thing, the wine was excellent. But then, we paid for excellent, too bad the rest of the meal wasn’t.

Even though it is the same owners(from what I could find online) as the original in Paris, it is still just as good. As far as price goes it is very reasonable. The main course is $ 26 and includes everything below except dessert. You come here for one thing and one thing only, the beef. For those of you unfamiliar with the term«entrecôte» it is a cut of beef similar to a ribeye. The steak is served pre sliced with or without their signature«secret sauce». The sauce itself is very similar to a béarnaise. It is also served with a side of unlimited french fries. The fries themselves are nothing out of this world though. Apart from the main course, your steak comes with a salad. It is there house salad with is a lettuce tomatoes with walnuts, accompanied by their house dressing which is based off dijon mustard. The salad comes served at the proper chilled temperature. For dessert I went for the mille-feuille, which is a layers of flacky pastry with Dulce de leche(caramel). It was satisfying but at the same time very light. As far as service goes it was excellent. The staff was very attentive and any time I needed something they were quick to reply. Overall I give the experience 4⁄5. It was very very good but it has some serious competition from other top steakhouses in Miami.

Food and cocktails were delicious! They have a very limited menu but the french onion soup and the steak frites were so amazing that I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice authentic french meal. The onion soup is one of the bests Ive ever had. They use very high quality ingredients. Would love to try other traditional french dishes here so just a couple entrée additions would be nice. I took off one star because our bread was a bit stale(we had a late dinner, maybe that is the reason) and also we had to wait for the hostess to greet us and sit us when we arrived. She was mia and the restaurant only had one other couple having dinner. The food made up for it and the bartender was super nice and made amazing cocktails. Oh and the dessert was to die for!!!

With only one main dish in their menu you can be SURE it’s going to be delicious. Love the easy menu of Steak and bottomless Fries! This nice spot is ideal for a romantic date since it’s not loud or overly busy. Make sure to leave some room for the Dulce de Leche Milles Feuilles, you wont regret it!

I had the lunch special, a very reasonable offering and a way to test it’s culinary before a major commitment of a dinner.

Had lunch here with a friend from Brazil. I must say, I was very impressed. The waitstaff were on point and the ambience was very very nice. But the food I had was killer! The French onion soup was awesome! Even the olive tempanade that came with the bread was amazing! And the tuna Niçoise salad was very good. The only thing I didn’t like was the iceberg lettuce but the manager was so nice that he had a conversation with us about it and I have a feeling it will be field greens next time we visit. 5star all the way!

We went back since we liked it the past couple of times. Something is off now with this place I’m not sure if it changed management or ownership. But it was hot inside they would not turn on the AC, so we decided to eat outside, they brought and served bottled water at $ 7.00 A bottle without even asking which water we preferred. The steaks were all overdone even though we asked for rare it was medium at best. The sauce isn’t what it was before and the onion soup lacked flavor. And the service was horrible. Needless to say I’ll wait to go to Paris for the next time I walk into L’ Entrecôte du Paris. Try Frenchies in the Gables.

Nice place. They are known for their steak and fries and I’d have to say it was very good. Wish they had some more choices on the menu though, but overall pleased. They need to do an aggressive happy hour to get more people into this place. It seemed a little dead even on a Friday night prime time.

The fries taste like the fries at BKing, which ruined the whole meal for me. It would have been possible, today, to have hit a home run and buy frozen fries from France for authenticity! The salad was pretty good. The steak was ok, but the steak sauce is an aberration, no relation at all to the real Entrecôte sauce in Paris, or to that of any restaurant with a clue. The tarte tatin was the crust’ with sections of baked apples on top but no caramel to «bind» them, but good vanilla ice cream. The staff was all Hispanic(as am I) with no idea how to pronounce anything they’re serving, NO charm… So many French students looking for work who would have added authenticity. It’s probably a South American owner with no knowledge of French food or culture trying to apply a formula. Bad.

I don’t eat much beef, but I am a fan of L’Entrecôte de Paris. It’s all in the sauce. Whatever that sauce is made from could/should be bottled, sold and the originators would be able to retire as very wealthy people. You heard it here, folks: the sauce at L’Entrecôte de Paris is so good, it can(and did) convert a non-beef eater. But, let me back up. If you’re coming to L’Entrecôte, odds are you’re a fan of beef. If not, you should be. It’s what’s for dinner. It’s what’s for lunch. It’s what’s on the menu. This is a French take on the oh-so-American steak ‘n patahtahs staple. Understood that’s not for everyone. But, if you’re a fan of red meat, you’re going to like this. A lunch portion(7 oz.) comes with a salad, bread with butter, mustard and tapenade and a whole mess of fries. It sounds simple because it is. That doesn’t mean, however, that the flavors are basic. The meat is treated with respect and served so tender you could use your butter knife to cut it. Take your time eating this meat and ask for more sauce so that you can put it on your fries and, also, to allow it to fully marry with the steak. As good as the sauce is, however, take some time to taste the meat on its own. You’re going to like it. In addition to the steak & fries, L’Entrecôte boasts a well-developed wine and dessert menu. After all, it is French. Wine snobs would be hard-pressed to find a glass/bottle that didn’t make them happy. For all those with a sweet tooth, save room. The macarons are heavenly AND sinful. The trio of mousse will amaze you. The brownie will make you say ‘uncle.’ In the hustle-bustle of South American Brickell, exists a slice of France guaranteed to take your mouth on a vacation. No ‘French food intimidation’ here… only really really good food & wine. Does life need anything else?

So, I went on Thursday night for a late dinner. We arrived at 10:15, Unilocal says the restaurant closes at 11 so we thought we had plenty of time, only to be told by the server that the restaurant had new hours and they now close 10pm Monday– Thursday and the kitchen was closed. I thought that was weird so I sent a message directly to the restaurant to see if they had in fact changed their hours or they just decided to close early because the restaurant was empty. No response from the restaurant, so I suggest calling if you are headed to this location past 9:15 during the week. Was disappointed with the lack of response from the restaurant and lack of notice that the hours changed. There was no notice at the restaurant or anywhere I can find on the internet. They get 3 stars because I still like the food but the lack of consistency with the hours of operation is confusing.

I was here last night for a Unilocal Elite Event which, as always, was fabulous. This was only my third official Event. Businesses, if you’re reading this, contact Unilocal. This is a great opportunity for you to get the word out. We left quite impressed and eager to write a review. But, I would like to focus on this restaurant. It is a fancy looking restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. I wouldn’t come here in shorts, though. Waitresses are dressed in French Maid attire adding a distinct«Oui Oui» to the mix. The restaurant itself is surrounded with a breathtaking view of some of the buildings in Brickell. The outside was cleared of tables for this Event, however, I am sure tables are provided when there isn’t an event taking place. You would have to confirm this when making your reservation as I am not sure. The restaurant itself is not large per se, hence, why I do recommend making a reservation. The bar inside the restaurant is quite spectacular. It is a nice addition to the décor. At this Unilocal Event we were offered samples of some of their food. The stand-outs for me were the Quiche and the steak with their secret sauce. Their Signature Steak was very good and the sauce served with it complimented the meat very well(L’Entrecôte = the rib steak.) The fries that are served with it are just fries. Nothing impressive about them. This«secret» sauce, so many flavors are infused into it, it was hard to decipher what went into it. It was DELICIOUS and I kept dipping the fries into the remnants of the sauce. Considering the location, ambiance, food and experience you will leave here with; no, it is not expensive at all. You will pay much more at a restaurant that is just a closed-in shoe box with tables. If price is an issue for you, go to McDonald’s instead and order some French Fries and put a French Flag on them. This non-attitude experience at a restaurant serving this food is very rare in South Florida. The options are simple, authentic and to the point. No room for confusion there. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant for your French Food craving. Especially, making it your first choice for a romantic dinner. Your other half will leave quite impressed with the experience as will you. As soon as I can convince some floozy to date me, this restaurant will be considered. Things to note before heading here(mostly for Miami Natives:) * Traffic — expect it and beyond belief. The entire area has grown beyond recognition and expected to continue to grow. As of this review, there is lots of construction happening. * Parking — there is plenty of it if you’re familiar with the area. My personal opinion, just Valet and avoid the hassle. * Metromover — using the Outer Loop, the Tenth Street/Promenade Station leaves you directly in front of this restaurant. You would transfer at the Government Metrorail Station if you’re coming from other parts of Miami-Dade. My preferred and recommend method for Miami Natives.

Excellent! The staff, the décor, the food, the atmosphere, the sauce… everything is perfect. The meat is very tender and the sauce is light yet tasty with a tiny spicy herb kick. There is a salad served before with a light dijon sauce, walnuts and grape tomato halves. Delicious. The bread is warm and crispy and served with butter, olive tapenade and dijon mustard. We also tried the cheese and charcuterie platter with real French saucisson, cornichons, brie, comté cheese and maybe port salut cheese? Delicious. This is a must-try and must-go-back!
