Not only is the pizza excellent, I have enjoyed other dishes there including calzone, lasagna, stomboli and salads. I work a half block away and have some difficulty sticking to my diet with Phillip’s large portions and fresh ingredients. Roy Wasson

Not impressed. Pizza dough was soft and flakey. Cant give a description on sauce because I did not taste it(def needs more sauce). quality of cheese was great they use Grande — the best money can buy. Service was nice and friendly. Typical Miami pizza.

After dissapearing from its original location around Coral Gables I finally rediscovered this little gem in downtown. The pizza is one of the tastiest i’ve had in Miami and the owner Phillip is extremely grumpy but you’ll groq to adore him after a few visits

Love this place. Been eating Philip The Pizza Natzi’s food for 15 years, followed him from Gables to Downtown. Food is amazing, Philip’s a funny guy, always entertaining. My favorite is the Chicken Parmesan Spaghetti(pic attached) it’s mouth watering!!! Philly cheese steak is awesome, New York style pizza is delish, calzones, you name it this guy’s recipe is THEBEST!!!

My man Philip is back! Been open for awhile but took me some time to get in there because I don’t go downtown too often. Walked into the new digs and Philip is in the back slinging pies! All is right in the pizza world again. The place is bigger and nicer than the old location. It even has tables outside. It’s on the corner so there is a nice spot to watch the happenings of Downtown Miami! The pizza ovens may have moved but the magic is still there! Gooey, cheesy, crispy thin crusts. Just the right about of chew and air pockets inside to keep it from just being a cracker crust. The simple salad was just as tasty as I remember it too. Philip is always fun to talk to. He is gruff as ever. Business is going well. And there are quite a few pizza joints in that area. He keeps his prices down and things simple. He has nothing to worry about from the competition. Except some major side-eye from the other pizza guys in the area.

So I wanted a quick bite to eat and you can never go wrong with pizza. I have seen this place a couple of times but never went it. Interior/Exterior: They have indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is dark and it’s an average size. You can also sit at the counter. Food: They have many specials here and I got the 2 slices of two topping pizza with a soda special. The slices are big, but the crust is too thin for me. I prefer thick pizza crusts. The cheese was just all wrong and the tomato sauce had little flavor or richness. The pizza was just lacking in taste and presentation. Prices: It’s fairly cheap here. Not too expensive. Overall: This was just average pizza. I prefer a thicker crust. I may come back here if I am really hungry. This place sort of reminds me of Mario the Baker but slighty better. Happy eating!

A friend told me about this place. Turns out his friend owns it. Hoping that the place was good and that I could eventually score a free meal… I gave it a shot today. It needed to be quick. I asked if they had pre-made pizza. The girl said yes and that it would take 2 minutes. My hopes weren’t high. I mean, this is downtown, the two slices were only $ 4.50 and I was in a hurry. Everything appeared to be cleaned and also very new. I really like that I could see them reheating/rebaking the slices. The girl was right, it took about 2 minutes to get my pizza. I grabbed my box and started walking back to the office. I got in the elevator and the smell of the pizza took over. I couldn’t wait to try it. The slices were huge and took up the entire box. The bottom crust was thin and slightly crunch but soft without being chewy. The back crust was delightfully crunchy and light. It had, not too much and not too little sauce. and it had tons of oozy cheese. Absolutely delicious. I have one complaint… just one… the cheese was good but it wasn’t or at least it didn’t taste like 100% mozzarella. That would have put this pizza over the top. Good job Dolce Vita, on ruining my diet, and being so good I don’t regret it. I’m thinking about going back tomorrow. :)
