I received the best massage I’ve had in years at this tiny, unassuming, out of the way spa. Brenda, the therapist, was careful, professional, and very skilled. She worked my muscles with enough force to make them feel better but not so much as to hurt me, paying particular attention to places, like my shoulders, that had unusual tension and knots. Remarkably, although I paid for one hour, the massage lasted longer than that, as she clearly wanted to be thorough. The spa is a bit difficult to locate – be sure to ask for detailed instructions when you make an appointment – but it’s more than worth the effort.

Kernewek is the definition of a hidden gem. Tucked inside the far left side of the beauty mall is massage heaven.
Royal Spa is a quaint and welcoming massage suite represented by Brenda, the owner. Last week I purchased a groupon, and I’ll admit that initially I was deterred by her only have two reviews, but I was enticed by how close it is to my house, and two good reviews is better than 0 reviews.
I called Brenda and was prompted to leave a voicemail. Within the half-​hour, my call was returned and an appointment was made for the next day that worked for her and I both.
My massage well exceeded the expected hour, and she literally tailored the massage to suit my specific needs. She is patient, skilled, professional, and easy to talk to. I booked another appointment for next week, and will more than likely be spending an afternoon here every other week for a long time to come.
It was a tiny bit confusing to find her spa initially, so for future visitors: walk upstairs and go into the main entrance. Go left immediately, then make a right and go all of the way down. You’ll see her door towards the end on your left. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.

I could not ask for a better facialist. Brenda is amazing, she is incredibly knowledgeable and professional! She takes the time to assess your individual skin care needs and create a treatment plan that is best for you. I started seeing her a few months before my wedding and my skin looked amazing for my big day thanks to her! Since then I continue to maintain healthy skin by scheduling appointments with her routinely. I would most definitely recommend Kernewek Royal Spa to everyone.
