One of the best wings in Miami. All The food here is always good and so is the service. And not to mention for a great price. Great place to hang out and catch a game while your there.

Definitely a fun place! its kinda divey, but the food is pretty good. It is a great place to go watch a sporting event and the crowd is very casual. They have pool tables and of course your juke box. Let me tell you, the burgers are delicious. I had a ½lb burger(yeah I was hungry) with pepper jack cheese, bacon and mushroom, which was delicious. I have said it before, I am not a wing person, but man oh man, I do recommend the wings and the cheese stick(of course). The server was very nice and kept the drinks coming, but it did take her a little while to get us the check. I did have a groupon that I had purchased way back, that expired and I was trying to use it for face value, but they said I could only use it for breakfast, which to me didn’t make sense seeing that 15 bucks at breakfast is the same as for dinner. I paid the 15 dollars, but I guess I will have to go back to use the credit at a later time. Other than that, I like the place and wouldn’t mind going back for some beer and some pretty decent bar food.

I have been going to this Keg South since I can remember! Lately, I have gone a few times to play pool and have some beers with my boyfriend and friends, the environment is of a typical bar, somewhat dingy with a good amount of locals. I feel like they need better management though, as I have had some troubles in the past with waitresses and getting orders wrong, but the food — I’ve never had a problem. Tonight I ordered to-go, after a long day of work sometimes you just wanna relax and eat good food in your own home! Anyways, I ordered a chef salad with blackened dolphin. The dolphin was cooked and seasoned perfectly, my salad was large and came with boiled eggs, tomatoes, onions and four roll-ups of ham/turkey with cheese. I recommend the Zinfandel Vinaigrette, really tangy and delicious! I love desserts so I went for the Xango($ 4.99). It’s fried banana with cheesecake dusted with cinnamon sugar — AMAZING. I never even noticed it on the menu, maybe it’s a new addition? Regardless, if you like sweets… You’ll love it. Keg South is an original place in Kendall, you just can’t go wrong if you’re looking for some classic American food, beer and a game(or two) of pool.

This place is fine for what it is: a sort of run down bar that serves bar food. The grilled wings are DISGUSTING; imagine biting into gooey chicken skin; very unpleasant. Do not order them. I wish we had listened to the waitress as she recommended the fried wings. I will go again and try the fried wings as the flavor was pretty decent. The fries are really delicious. I also had the grilled chicken wrap which was good as well. I’d go back again.

We went here while in town to watch the Jets game and had a good time. This place is more of a small dive bar than a big sports bar but they had a decent number of televisions and the staff was friendly and willing to put the game on for us since the Dolphins were playing. The menu was small and they only served wine and beer but we actually really enjoyed our burgers that we ordered. They had a good flavor and were a good size.

Three stars because I love their burgers… but everything besides that was bad. The wings were soggy, the onion rings and fries were bland and oily mess. Their waitresses are impolite and look as if taking your order is physically hurting them.

This is where you and your boys want to be on game days. Service is excellent and the food is top notch. Don’t think this place is all about wings, because they have great burger sliders, french fries, chili, and sandwiches. The wings, of course, are what gets my friends and I in the restaurant repeatedly. Parking is a bit of a hassle, with a lot that fits about 50 cars, max.

Perfect ¾ burger combined with a cold beer. This is a good place to eat and drink in south Kendall.

Ordered the Fried Wings and the Grilled«Spicy» Wings, along with a side of fries. We decided to «upgrade» and add blue cheese and celery to our order. I wish I had taken a pic of the celery, it was literally ONE celery stick cut in 4 pieces. I also wish I was kidding. The Grilled Wings were a big disappointment. Although they tasted good, they weren’t spicy at all, not the least bit. What bothered me the most though, was that they weren’t thoroughly grilled, the skin was still bland and rubber like. Couldn’t have more than one bite. The Fried Wings were the only decent item we had. Still not worth going back though.

I am skeptic when it comes to bars and pubs: while a lot of my friends do not mind drinking beer and alcohol, have conversations and perhaps watch sports in places with very little light, I do not. I have never been to this restaurant or any of its kind before, but I was also not surprised to be in a bar restaurant just the way I expected it would be. Keg South is not the best restaurant I have been to, but it is still a decent place for a bite to eat and hang out. Keg South is your typical bar: a dimly lit but calming atmosphere, an area to get drinks and order and eat food, pool tables, TVs to watch sports, and a few arcade games. Personally, my favorite part of Keg South is the electric jukebox, which lets you connect your selected music via an online streaming account, in addition to the traditional method of inserting cash or coins to play music or add songs to the queue. Eating at Keg South in the company of friendly people made my otherwise unimpressed visit fun to say the least. In other words, it is better to eat here as a group than by yourself. I went with my friends, my older brother, and my cousins. Our waitress Jessica was super-friendly, and she even helped me distinguish the sliders from another dish I spotted on the menu. I ordered sliders and fries while most of the people in our party ordered chicken wings. The sliders were more appalling than appealing: the buns of my sliders were slightly cold. I assume that the buns were frozen then reheated to make my sliders. They looked and tasted like grocery store White Castle burgers that were not microwaved long enough. I honestly thought that sliders were going to be prepared better than the ones I ordered. Sadly, they were not. One person of our party also ordered jalapeño poppers. From what I remember, poppers were supposed to be easy to snack on; the poppers at Keg South were a bit messier! I took one bite into one of the poppers, and the sauce inside literally popped out onto my hand! I do not know if that was how the cooks intended the poppers to be, but the fact that the sauce bursts out of the poppers as soon as I bite into them makes them far less appetizing than they are supposed to be. The chicken wings, on the other hand, were what I expected them to be: hot, fresh and delicious with juicy white meat. For dessert, we had the tasty Xango: a deep-fried banana, along with a caramel cheesecake topped with cinnamon and whipped cream on the side. It could be because I am not accustomed to eating at bar restaurants, but in the end, my first visit to such a restaurant was not entirely a pleasant one. I can get used to the atmosphere, but perhaps the problem I have with Keg South lies in the food. If the restaurant can make chicken wings taste good, then its standards should be applied to the rest of its food offered. I will be sure to come back to Keg South to order different food and give the restaurant another chance to blow me away, but as of right now, it is not a place I would visit often.

For $ 8.99 for the«loaded» nachos I was astonished by the lack of love by the gloveless cook in the Miami Heat hat. The nachos reminded of the disgusting middle school cafeteria«food» I had back in the day. Let’s move onto the main course… The wings. If you fancy slimy earthwormy chicken well I would highly recommend this place. The only decent item on the menu is the water. Service was fine.

I have been going to Keg South at least once a month for more than 10 years. The main reason I go is because I can get a glass of Amberbock draft beer for $ 1.00. OK more recently they raised the price to $ 1.50. But I like knowing I can have a few beers and it not cost me more than the meal. In addition to good deals on their draft beer(including $ 11.00 pitchers) some of the food items(like the hamburgers) are quite good. I also enjoy their chicken caesar salad. The atmosphere is «rustic» which I find adds to my overall pleasant experience. If what you want is a burger and a few beers … keg south is a great choice.

Comfort bar food. The burgers are made fresh and are delicious. Definitely the dish to have here. Drinks are cheap(about $ 2 for a beer) and it is super casual. The place is a little run down but if all you want is a comfortable place with good, classic food, this is the place to go. Oh! And the fries! They are homemade. And so awesome. I went there today and tried the mahi mahi sandwich for the first time. I am on a a bit of a diet so I was looking for something a little less caloric.(Although what I really wanted was that burger!) I was pleasantly surprised! The fish was delicious and grilled perfectly. Served on a brioche bun with tartar sauce. My new favorite dish here… just as good as having the burger.

I’ve never been before and We decided to stop after Brew at the Zoo because we were starving. We ordered wings and nachos — only to be told that they didn’t have nachos to serve. The wings came out burnt and barely edible. We left half the order. As bad as the wings were — the onion rings were amazing. We also had the conch fritters which were good and the egg rolls were also decent. The service was ok — not note worthy but not bad. I’m not sure that we will return.

There is nothing to love about this place. It’s a run down sports bar off of 137th Ave. it attracts like old bikers, not really a young crowd but maybe that’s what they want?. It’s all torn apart inside, I’m A big believer of anyone who allows their front of the house and bathrooms to get that torn apart/dirty must have a disgusting back of the house/kitchen. All their food is just frozen food out of a box. I tried both the fried wings and the grilled wings, the fried wings was obviously just like Tyson wings fried with no seasoning and the«grilled» wings tasted like gooey microwaved chicken. If you order wings no dressing is included, you have to pay extra for Cesar or blue cheese. The beer specials were«okay», $ 8 for a pitcher of miller lite is the happy hour deal, nothing to rave about. On the plus side they did give me a frozen mug and our blonde waitress was very sweet.

Expired, disgusting food combined with rude, condescending service from management, particularly Robert, who doesn’t understand the basics of customer service. They are prepping frozen, raw chicken wings from Tyson behind the bar, in full view of customers. They would fail ANY basic health inspection. After getting expired grouper fingers and misshapen, grisly wings, we tried to return the food and get out of there asap. Robert, the manager, came over and started explaining away and excusing the inexcusable — saying that the wings are from Tyson frozen and just deal with it. He then said, «but you WILL pay for the beer because you had it.» We ordered a pitcher and it was still half full. He was so angry and unprofessional, a real failure as a manager and as a person. We go to the Keg South location by Pinecrest on US1 all the time but will NEVER come back here. Apparently, this location is not even affiliated with the others and just steals the menu items and the feel of the other locations without any ability to execute or care for the customers. Horrible experience in every way. Stay away!

The place is your typical bar, service is always friendly and the food is pretty darn good. The beer selection isn’t extensive but they do have nice cold beers on tap. It’s not a huge location but if you want to take it easy and watch a game or just kick back and have some beers and eat some good food this is a perfect spot.

Keg South deserves these 5 stars and then some. For a divey type restaurant & bar as some would call it, this particular location is excellent. Is it because it’s 5 minutes away from my home? Is it because I’ve been coming here for over 10 years? Or maybe I’m simply biased because I hold very fond memories of Keg South. Perhaps, but I must let it be known Keg South is consistent with their food. And best of all, the service… service never fails. Service always with a smile and with an upbeat attitude. I love that they help out each other. It’s a team effort! Therefore, making food service flow nicely even on their busiest times keeping patrons like me happy! :-D What I love… Special Grilled Wings are so incredibly addicting. They are delicious all by themselves or with a side of blue cheese. Try them yourself and you be the judge! Tuna Steak Wrap — medium rare please! with lettuce, tomatoes and wasabi sauce in a tomato basil wrap… Mmmmmm. Fresh Grilled Dolphin Sandwich — with lettuce, extra tomatoes on a toasted bun with a side of tartar sauce. Turkey Sandwich on Rye Bead — thin slices of turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, extra tomatoes, easy on the onions! with mayo on the side. This sandwich has always been my #1 choice. So good and very satisfying. They don’t skimp out on the turkey either. And today for the first time I tried their ½ Lb Keg Burger cooked medium with American cheese, mayo, mustard, lettuce, extra tomatoes served on brioche bread. OMG was that delicious! Very juicy and flavorful. The brioche was so fresh, it was light, flaky and very buttery. A nice change from those boring sesame seed buns. I am salivating as I’m writing my review… Five Guys who??? Last but never least, the bartenders know how to serve a perfect pint of that black stuff I love so much… Guinness! Served with that thick, rich and creamy white head. Other establishments serving this legendary stout could learn a thing or two from these bartenders. Patience goes a long way! Cheers!

Calling out all fellow Unilocalers to try Keg South. They have great prices and always a nice special deal. Packed and full of TVs to catch your favorite game. This place does get packed on game nights so prepare to come early. A very family friendly area with pool tables all over and a jukebox to play your favorite tunes. I usually come here for the wings because they are fantastic. The prices are reasonable for these delicious tasting wings and the French fries are amazing. Keg south is located on 137th right before london square behind the gas station. Come and enjoy the wings and have a good time!
