Island Market

Part deli, part grocery store, Island Market has groceries (priced much higher than most Supermarkets) and also fresh produce. I really like the fact that they carry healthy items like almond milk. Their bakery counter even has gluten-​free vegan muffins and cookie bars, along with Edda’s cakes, chocolate truffles and Latin desserts. The deli counter has a nice selection of prepared foods and salads and is reasonably priced.
The staff in the front isn’t exactly friendly. They could care less and also suffer from ADD. Even while serving you, they chat with each other, completely ignoring you. I had a simple question and had to ask it three times before I got an answer. I felt like I was bothering them. Based on that treatment alone I will take my money some place where it is more appreciated.
