Worker was shouting profanities at coworker mainly the«F“word for about ten min so loud it could be heard across the way at the gate where I was sitting. Crazy and unprofessional !

Beatrice P was my waitress. She had an attitude, and was very sarcastic! I thought being a waitress was pretty simple. Make your customers feel good about their eating experience! I felt the need to be extra nice to her, to try and lighten up the situation. I got the Jerk chicken platter with rice and beans, and there was no sauce or gravy for the rice. it was extremely dry. The chicken was also tough and rubbery! I would come back and try something else, but Beatrice P, made me never want to ever come back!

Dry food and lacks flavor… I dont think the food here is clocked onsite because it all had texture of being microwaved. Service is non existent and they add automatic tip which may explain lack of service or interest by our waitress on why none of us could finish our meals. Waste of money… we paid and went to a place down the terminal for sandwiches for the kids.

Server was very friendly and attentive. We order the jerk chicken wings as an appetizer which was not bad. It has a little kick to it so if you don’t like spicy, try to avoid. I had the steak and cheese wrap, unfortunately the cheese didn’t melt so that was a downer. It came with a small amount for fries which was not bad. My wife had the tomatoe basil soup which ahe enjoyed. It is average food but it is a quiet place to grab a bite away from the masses running through the terminal.

Don’t bother at all. Ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. They threw an entire chicken breast on there and gave me a cheap plastic knife to hack at it with. They bill themselves as healthy and have NO light or low fat dressings ATALL!!! Seriously? Is there any other«healthy» restaurant in the work that does that???

Horrible, absolutely horrible. I came in on an early flight, got a breakfast special of a crossaint sandwhich. The entire thing was MICROWAVED to the point the croissant was scalding hot and of rubber texture. The eggs were a disgrace and the sausage was inedible. I ate about 3 – 4 bites and dumped it, then bought a breakfast sandwhich at mcdonalds. Stupidly, on the way back home I was in the mood for a chicken wrap and the other choices in the food court in terminal H/J at Miami airport looked like they all sucked as well(was hoping for the Versailles)…and I went back for a chicken wrap… hard to screw up, right? uhh… another swing and a miss. I could have bought a better one at 7⁄11.

Tastes like airplane food. The food is bit cooked on site, it comes frozen and it’s reheated. We ordered the Jamaican and the Cuban chicken platter. Chicken felt rubbery and plastic. Will not come back here again.

Cajun chicken wings were good but nothing special. Soup was bland and skippable.

This place is terrible. Literally, the only saving grace was a jerk sauce that you could douse everything in. We got wings for app, two carribean chicken meals, and two cocktails. Everything. And. I. Mean. Everything. Is microwaved. Its a shame, because the chicken looks like when it was actually cooked, it was probably juicy and really good. The problem, is that when this was done was NOT the day you are eating the food. They tack on 15percent gratuity, and the cocktails were 13bucks each — no prices on menu! Place is a friggin scam, and I passionately request you avoid at all costs.

My choices in an airport are limited, so I picked the restaurant that looked shiny and new. Somehow and somewhere in my skull, I equated that with good food. Being at Island Chicken Grill is like walking into the pages of an Ikea catalog and since I can’t afford fine handcrafted furniture, it was like being home. It tasted like home too since my cooking regimen of late consists of microwaves and frozen dinners. The Carribean chicken and crab soup were pretty much on par with that. The chicken was dry, bland, and verging on cold. It looked like the chicken you get a on a grilled chicken sub. It’s alright in a $ 5 sandwich, but wasn’t working for me as a standalone dish. I’m also no forensic expert, but I believe the grill marks were painted on. The crab in the crab soup was MIA, and the base was watered down and slightly salty. The service was non-existent. It wasn’t busy, but the waitress worked like she didn’t want to be there. She’d make a great government employee. The adventure costs me $ 20. Skip it.

Jerked Wings we’re tasty and I’d order them again. Burgers were bland and very lean. Given all the other places in this airport this one falls way down on the list. its average at best.

This place is testament to what some ikea furniture and slick marketing can accomplish. We wandered in here after walking the endless terminal. this place looked relatively clean, well lit, etc. The food was anything but — stale old frozen burgers, anemic shrively piece of wilted lettuce, filthy ketcup bottle with years of ketcup crusted over. As for service, also woefully inadequate. Once i told the waitress i wasn’t eating, i became invisible. never asked if i wanted a refill. The place isn’t even that big — pay attention you stoopid bimbo. both our drinks were empty and she only refilled my bf’s! You are much better off getting something from starbucks or icebox.

After walking through the terminal, I saw this place and hoped that I could find something tasty and reasonably healthy. I’m not a health freak, but appreciate good food that isn’t completely ruined with artificial ingredients. Unfortunately, it was not good food. I’m sitting here and I can still taste the artificial smoke flavoring in my mouth. Pretty disgusting. If you must eat here, stick to the rice, beans and plantains. They aren’t good either, but aren’t repulsive.

This place looks promising with it’s different varieties of chicken flavors: traditional grilled, cuban, teriyaki, etc. You also get a pick of sides such as mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, bread, etc. Price is roughly $ 7 per plate. I had the grilled chicken and veggies. It was bland and tasted like what an airplane would serve. I guess that’s what they’re trying to go for since they’re a airport fast food eatery — their standards aren’t high. I’d rather eat at McDonalds. At least they have good fries.
