First time visit, loved it. Terre was great! Sweet & did an excellent blow dry! I will definitely be back! :)

Based on my great past experiences I went ahead and purchased their ‘4 blowouts for $ 99′ special offer. I have been here about 7 times, no complaints. At the time of purchase I was told that they NEVER expire. I even recommended my bestie to purchase the same deal. I came in today, having 2 services left from the deal, to be told by the manager Angela that they changed their policy and they are considered expired. (They expire 2 months after purchase.)
How this is ok is beyond me. She was «nice enough» to allow me to use 1 of my services, but my last one is lost and will not be honored. It’s a shame that they don’t honor their contracts because the staff here are very friendly and professional. I won’t be returning. Very disappointed, they would rather lose a customer I guess.

I’ve been here twice… first time was amazing second time was not great (hence the 3 stars).
I stumbled upon this place while I was browsing the stores and realized I had an event to attend and didn’t have desire to fix my hair myself. I walked in and they attended me right away. I explained what I wanted to the hairstylist and she proceeded to do exactly what I had in mind. I wanted curls at the ends of my hair and some volume. She took her time and straitened each section then curled each section. It came out perfect.
The second time, the stylist that helped me was very nice but was not in tune at all with what I had in mind. I left looking like Dolly Parton from the 80s with so much hairspray in my hair I had to brush it all out when I got home. I tried to tell her not to put hairspray but my hair hadn’t come good and she kept trying to fix it unsuccessfully. It was more reminiscent of a bird’s nest than any hair-​do I should pay for. She was also very rough and pulled out tons of my hair.
I wish I had gotten names so I could recommend the first stylist but I forgot each time.
Overall the salon is cool looking and their concept is very simple. They have a few hairstyles to pick from all for $ 40 regardless of length or hair type. Most likely too pricey for someone with short to medium length hair. I would recommend this if you’re in need of a quick fix. If you have a stylist, stick with what you know.

0 stars. THE WORST PLACE EVER! DO NOT GO! I went into HSI approximately 3 weeks ago Monday late afternoon. I had made an appointment before hand. I tried to communicate with the stylist, how my hair breaks and how she needed to blow dry it gently. The first thing i had to correct her on was how hot she had the dryer for my thin hair.
I fought with her the entire time. About pulling on her hair. She insisted she was being gentle. I now have broken short pieces of hair all around my crown as a result. She exclaimed she had 30 years experience and knew what she was doing. I said fine, but not with my hair. I know my hair. Nonetheless I have broken hair around crown. And walked out infuriated.
The manager replied and offered me a hair mask as a sorry. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

I went in for my first time to HSI and was impressed. Cute space and décor. They took me back to get my hair washed and the hairdresser told me she was using a shampoo and conditioner with Argan oil. I was a bit concerned as my hair is pretty baby fine and gets oily very easily, but since she said it was the only one they had I didn’t protest. As an aside, I do find this to be a poor choice since not all hair types benefit from Argon oil based products. She finished washing my hair and put me in the styling chair. She then proceeded to bombard me with all the products she wanted to sell me. She went on and on about the packages of blow dries and then literally started listing products one by one. She then said, I’m going to put some of the Argon oil in your hair to make it shiny, you’re gonna love it! I politely told her that I would not be wanting or needing any oil in my hair. I realized then that these people were either not well educated on what product goes with which hair type (no stylist has EVER tried to put oil in my hair, because it’s pretty obvious it wouldn’t be pretty!!) or were so eager to sell products that they were willing to put whatever on whoever… maybe a combination of the two. The blow dry was decent… nothing great and nothing better than I could have done myself… which is pretty mediocre. When I went to check out, the cashier once again gave me the spiel on the products and I had to turn them down again. I’ve now been to 3 blow dry places in my Miami and I would have to say that this one was the most disappointing and the most annoying in their product driving tactics. Definitely better places out there!

Just what a needed a time for me to pamper and leave feeling great! From the moment I was greeted to where my hair was treated with their unique Argen Oil, I knew I picked the perfect place. Thank you so much for the hair treatment, do and excellent customer service. Loved it!

Amazing new and super convenient spot at the falls for a great blow dry with really awesome high quality products. Isabel is super talented and I can’t wait to come back on a regular basis!

I’m retracting my initial review since the manager and staff went above and beyond to make my last experience amazing. My latest blow dry from
HSI is everything I’d expect from a top notch blow dry bar :)

I went back for my complimentary blow dry with a stylist named Isabelle. She was pleasant, friendly and professional. She explained everything she was doing as she went along as well as all the products that she used to wash the hair and style. Overall, she was great and I would recommend her.
The reason for the three stars is although the stylist was to the level of service that is expected, I still feel this salon has not worked out all the «kinks» yet, as compared to salons in Coral Gables, Midtown or Aventura. Granted they just opened and in an ideal location in The Falls.

Good products. Good blow dry and flat iron. The only thing is that you have to pay extra for flat iron which I think should be included. They have a pretty good system that if you buy the products you get points ($ 1 = 1 point) and you can use those points for services — for example: shampoo and conditioner: $ 50– you just got your self blow dry and flat iron FOR FREE. Not bad
