Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Went in for my lunch break and the place was empty except for one couple already eating and it was freezing cold, I mean uncomfortably cold. The temperature quickly nixed the thought I had of eating inside the restaurant. Also, the time stamp on my receipt was 1:29pm and I didn’t get my order for 12 minutes, which I thought was a long wait in the shivering cold, considering no one else was ahead of me. My food was fresh and the employees were friendly, but I just didn’t feel a comfortable vibe due to the temperature in the restaurant.

In a nutshell, I hate American cheese on my burger. Normally I would not mind to see that disgusting flab of artificial cheese on my burger but if I request no cheese don’t go zombie and put it by default. Read the damn order!!!
I didn’t complain the first time; the second and third time I took one patty out but this just makes me mad.
I appreciate the fact that they re did my burguer but like anything done in a rush, it didn’t taste well. It was just a hard bun flavorless meat burger.
The manager, a very sweet young lady, apologized about the incident and invited us to come again, but it’s going to take a long while until we make it back.

I love this place! The ease of ordering via their android app and just coming in to pick it up is great. Their burgers are always well done but juicy and their fries are simply the best. The staff is friendly and the location is strikingly clean for a place that serves peanuts in a shell. Great food, great price, great staff. How can you beat that?

Had a burger and fries. Loved it.
Most everything else was bad. Decided to eat my lunch at the counter near the door. The counter looked a little greasy in some spots but I thought I found a decently clean seat. To my disgust, I found a line of ants running on top of the counter as I’m eating. So since my hands were already covered in glorious burger grease, I decided to endure this suffering and use my elbows to crush any ants that tried to get into my food.
I quickly finished eating and decided to wash up. I get to the bathroom and find it completely void of any supplies. No towels, no toilet seat covers, no hand dryers, no toilet paper. It amazed me that the employees would let the bathroom get to this point and make no effort to restock. I counted three employees in the building, and the restaurant was not busy at all during this time. Only me and maybe three other customers were in the place. There’s no excuse for the place to be this unkempt.
Amazingly, the bathroom had running water, and soap. So I washed my hands, and dried off on my shirt.
Pretty sad to see such lazy employees. There are tons of establishments in Miami that are 10 times as busy as this five guys, yet they keep their grounds clean, and their bathrooms stocked.
If you ever get food here, make sure it’s carry out.

Okay, so before this I have nothing against five guys burgers. I really think that their cajun fries are awesome and at this location they have a staff that knows how to layer their burger and keep it neat despite all of the toppings I get.
BUT SERIOUSLY THERE’S A COCKROACH ON THE FLOOR when I walked into the bathroom. It wasn’t even in the bathroom, but it was close to the side of the wall where the drinks are. They need to do an inspection here. Seriously, food-​eaters be careful when you come here to this five guys.

This place is pretty good! The burgers and hot dogs are tasty, although very greasy (in a delicious «I’m gonna hate myself later» sort of way), and the portions are fairly large for the price. The fries are definitely what make this place stand out among the competition though, they’re top notch and definitely above rival fast food chains!

Always good for burgers no matter what. Fresh made to order. Delish. Cajun Fries are awesome.

Love five guys! I had the cheese dog today, which was very good. I found it odd that it was cut in haves but this is my second time at a five guys location so it could just be how it’s done. (It was really good just a new experience non the less.)
This location IS really cold but when I came it was crazy hot outside so the cold was a blessing in disguise.
The guy at the register, didn’t get his name, (don’t think they have name tags) but he was awesome! As we left he told us to have a great one and hope to see us again. I felt this was worth adding in the review since having one employee who goes that extra mile (even small) should get an applause.

Great burgers! Good quality meat, cooked well done but still juicy. Great variety of additions. Friendly Manager. Fries made on site fresh with Peanut oil, Cajun Fries are a hit!!!

Much better this time around! Maybe they read my review but who cares place was clean and food was really good. Didn’t try the roasted peanuts but the burger was dope! Only problem is this place is always freezing cold but oh well, better than hot! Nice turn around! I’ll be back!

I love five guys… Or should I add the «burgers and fries» part to it because saying «I love five guys» doesn’t sound too great, huh?
I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger with everything because two patties is just way too much for me, and their cajun fries (LOVE). They’re cajun fries are delicious with a mixture of their ketchup and malt vinegar… don’t knock it ’til you try it! I love it!
My food was good, but, my only complaint about my only experience at this location is that they took FOREVER to make my food. Mind you, I.was.the.ONLY.human.entity.in. the. place! –_​_​_​– Ive had quicker service at locations that have been super packed. Oh well, at least my food was good so I will leave these «five guys» at 4 stars.

I’ve been to other Five Guys before and I’m a fan. This review is based on this specific Five Guys location.
This is the WORST Five Guys I’ve been too. The only reason that I gave it a 1 star (it should be 0 star) is because the lady that took my order was nice. The good experience stops there.
First off, the cook (he looks like he’s in his 40’s-50s) was hitting on me and it was uncomfortable. I noticed that he was hitting on another pretty girl and she seemed uncomfortable too.
It doesn’t stop there. I asked for no cheese because I’m lactose intolerance. I took one bite and tasted cheese. I looked at my burger and there was cheese in it. I couldn’t even go up there to ask the cook to fix it because I was afraid he’ll start hitting on me again. I ended up just eating the fries and some parts of the bacon that had no cheese on it.
I am still a fan of Five Guys but I will NEVER come back to this one again.

Soggy fries. Gross. I asked them to make another order. Still soggy. This location isn’t very good.

What happened to their fries? It used to be good… booohhhhh… Five Guys has downgraded their food it seems. Peanuts are stale, maybe no turnover? service is ok, I’ve had better hamburgers… sorry Five Guys… till next timeeee…

Who doesn’t love Five Guys burgers? Juicy patties and a great selection of toppings. I’m addicted to the cheese they use here. There has to be drugs in the cheese. So good. And you have to add bacon. What? Your diet? If you’re going to cheat then go big. If you can’t bring yourself to eat a whole burger (even I admit that two patties is too much) try their grilled cheese sandwich. Its really good and won’t make you want to kill yourself afterwards. Oh, and don’t forget that bacon!

I think the burger is delicious due to how drenched in some kind of fatty awesomeness it is. The fries are on point!
It’s hard to mess up burgers and fries, and 5 guys definitely doesn’t mess it up. I’ll come here before getting a Big Mac any day of the week.

After dragging my brother to the Five Guys on 88^th a couple of months ago, we decided to give it another try. :) This location is located in front of FIU a big plus.
They weren’t very busy around lunch time so we walked right up to the counter to order. We both ordered their little cheeseburger, mine with ketchup and mustard and his held everything it possibly could. We also ordered a side of their addictive fries.
The service was quick and friendly and our burgers were GREAT.
Can’t wait to stop by again…

Working at FIU, there aren’t too many options off campus within driving distance for the 1 hr lunch. Five Guys opening up across the street is really nice. Obviously the food is amazing and its in the perfect spot to cater the university community. I plan on returning a lot.
