I had the greatest opportunity to venture to Wynwood Walls and came upon this wonderful location that had graffiti art and other goodies to buy!!! It was a fabulous store that made me so happy. The owner is so wonderful. She is friendly and so helpful. She told me about some of the art and the notebooks and more. It’s such a cute, small colorful location. I was able to buy me a graffiti journal that was awesome!!! I will be ordering more stuff from this location. Check out this store if you are in the area and pick up some cool things!

I was on vacation when I came across this spot in a town of amazing artwork, I was hooked at first sight and had to buy something. A truly original style with in your face colors and attitude, certainly one of the most unique artists I’ve come across.

An up and coming artist with such an acute visualization of modern graffiti art, this guy is setting trends and will be a big player in the industry. Buy this art now, while it’s cheap. I can see that some large company is going to option this guy soon and we will see his works on everything from shoes to lunch boxes soon.

The amazing original street art stylings from the(sometimes twisted) mind of artist Erni Vales leaps out at you from every print, painting and photograph. This is definitely a fun place to while away some time in artsy, craft beer-riddled Wynwood. Love the Invicta Artist Series Erni Vales Limited Edition watches!

Art should make you feel something. I like it to make me feel happy, maybe even silly at times. Either way, I want it to make me smile. That is what the art of NYC’s Native Son, Erni Vales, makes me do. It makes me smile. It puts me in a good mood. And EVL World is where it all comes together. Everyone has to pass by a street, so we’re all exposed to street art, at some time, somewhere. EVL World brings it to another level. The work is relatable and beautiful and the price points on the merchandise ensures that anyone can take a little piece of EVL World with them.

This is my absolute favorite gallery in the Wynwood art District. Very trendy and eclectic. They offer everything from prints, to messenger bags, cell phone cases, tables, watches(need I go on?) to add some color to the everyday drab and flaunt your artistic love of this place.

This gallery is like WHOA. I. LOVED. IT. The one thing i loved about this art area is that the art is actually on the outside of the walls as well. EVL World was black and red on the outside with an outline of a body on the sidewalk. neat! When you first walk in, there is a book to the left that you can sign as well as buisness cards/free stickers. What i loved about this spot is that there are descriptions right next to the artwork that makes alot of sense. Not all artwork speaks to me but this one did. The ‘Fallen Angel’ and the ‘First Evl’ paintings were SUPER dope and had dope meanings as well. Everything was bright, colorful, and in your face. I can’t wait to go back to Miami and visit this place when i have time.

Sick. This is a retail shop, posing as a gallery. Sicker. Kids toys that are no longer comforting, huggable teddy bears. Instead, woolly teddies are ripped from sci-fi comic art and thrown up in vibrant color on posters, or coffee cup appliques, or poly glazed table tops for a price. I am struggling to understand the appeal of a teddy bear skewered with vodoo pins, or caught in bondage after its artist/creator exhibited his inner S&M. People crowding the shop found the imagery endearing. and unexplainably cute. I get it that shock has value. I don’t get it that these consumers are no longer shocked at all. And I’m guessing that most are paying more than a day’s wage to live with this stuff at home.

EVL World is one of the reasons why the Wynwood art district in Miami is so incredible and distinct. With his unique style and his happy staff, his collection of pieces are phenomenal and visually speak volumes to a lot of cynical pop culture stems in today’s society. I bought a phone cover for a friend of mine and she loved it. What’s great about EVL World is that in addition to the good vibes of staff inside, the owner and artist Ernie Valez sells merchandise that is great to buy but also doesn’t look commercial or tacky. EVL World is a beloved Wynwood must — they have ocasional events and are also conveniently located across from Wynwood Kitchen and Bar, and the Wynwood Walls. This is a great place to hit up during the week or throughout the weekend.

Dr. Evil himself could not have done a better job painting wicked pictures. Paintings of evil teddybears adorn the wall that would haunt any adult’s dreams. Paintings of political innuendo adorn the wall on the other side that would make any red, white, and blue American blush redder than the flag itself. If you are edgy enough to see it in your home, Evl Gallery sells small posters of their big pieces. Evl is a gallery worth of a stop on those lovely Saturday art walks.

It’s been a week since coming into EVL Wold Gallery and still not sure if I love it or hate it. On one hand I love the bright colors and the medium used(the finished pieces have a high glossy sheen). On the other hand, some(not all) pieces seem to lack artistic skill… I mean no disrespect, but some of the pieces remind me of stuff kids would draw on their spiral bound notebooks in school; to see it hanging on a gallery wall was unexpected. And again, on the other hand I saw pieces I would be interested in purchasing and proudly displaying in my own home. They have a large variety of memorabilia to purchase from t-shirts, mugs, key chains and other chotchkies. At first glance, the display feels more like a retail shop rather than a gallery; but the stuff is nice and everyone needs to make a buck after all. I plan on returning on an upcoming 2nd Saturday and take another look; perhaps to make an inquiry to the piece I was interested in and also to take a closer look(very close to 4 star but not there yet)… Come take a visit and draw your own conclusion as the art here is a bit different

Wicked teddy bears? Check! Paintings and figurines to sell? Check! Cool street art? Heck Yeah! Evl World is an cool little gallery in Wynwood that has earned a regular spot in my itinerary. As Carla L. mentioned, the emphasis in this space is street art with a hint of political commentary. You’re very likely to see angry teddy bears dressed as gangsters, hostages or evil priests. Pin-up roller skating waitresses also encompass their painting collection. One of the cool things about this gallery is that they make their art accessible. In addition to the full size framed pieces, they also sell smaller posters of one or two featured pieces for under $ 30. I like that, making art accessible to the community!

On the amazing Second Saturday artwalk we saw so many galleries and artwork our heads were spinning. It was chilly and we jumped into this one by chance. Looking around I saw such impressive art, I love this type of art. Street art, one of my favorites genres! I was completely ecstatic looking at the great talent that surrounded me. Erni Vales has some of the most impressive, colorful and vibrant art I have seen in a long time! I looked, my jaw dropped and I saw him. My teddy bear. All wrapped up in latex and handcuffed just for me. I HADTOTAKEHIMHOME… I just had to. So I stalked someone who worked there and asked about a framed print, a SIGNED print. I couldn’t believe how affordable they were. So not only is Erni’s art awesome, he also has items for those of us who are just regular Joes. Did I mention hoodies? Yup, T-shirts too. Red helped me with my Teddy print(I believe he is Twin #1) and brought Erni himself to meet me. I was actually kind of star struck. We talked for a bit, he is super nice and gave me the history behind some of his«Naughty Animals of the Evl World». Incredibly nice artist with amazing work. I am totally crashing again to see the art without the massive throngs of people. Yes, I brought Teddy home. He is now displayed proudly in my living room.
