Ordered fried pargo to go today what a disappointment and waste of money! Fish was dry and actually tasted old. I would’ve overlooked it but what really ticked me off was that when I made my order I specifically asked them to make sure to include lemon for the fish and they answered of course the fish brings lemon. But when I get my order Lo and behold
There no lemons to be found!!! The only worthwhile thing of the meal were the sides (fried sweet plantains and patacones) don’t ever order fish from here or lemons

A wonderful restaurant decent prices great food. With daily specials. Very attentive staff. If was to say why it did not earn the extra star was for the kitchen exhaust fans are not strong enough and sometimes you get home with a food smell but I still come back great Spanish food place

Thursday’s specials include carne con papa! One of the hubby’s favorite. It’s part of our weekly dinner menu. The food always has great flavor and the staff is always very nice. We usually get a side of mariquitas and always a empanada de carne! Their empanadas are delicious!

Nice clean Cuban food restaurant I tried the vaca frita … the grill chicken breast… Masitas de puerco … always left satisfied, the portions are pretty big and the food is fresh and well seasoned.

Here we are and good to be back.
Wife order Fufu De Platano for appetizer that we shared, ($ 4.99) Then we had Crema de Malanga, (small portion at $ 2.99 per bowl) For entry Wife had the lunch special #13, Bistec De Pollo with Tostones & Moros, ($ 9.49 Chicken breast fillet with chop red onions & Cilantro on the side) I had the lunch special #10, Masas De Puerco with Tostones & Boniato Hervido ($ 9.49 Chunks of pork meat deep fried with sauté onions) For dessert we had Bunuelos ($ 4.25)
Our server Anny was excellent & very attentive, she advise us that she will hold our entry until we finish the appetizer & soup. For sure that make our meal enjoyable. Our entries were Delicious and well Cook. After we put the left overs in the carry out containers Anny ask if we wanted dessert. I told her what they have, she advise that now they have Bunuelos. So so we try & shared the dessert. To our taste we love it, comes warm in a light syrup, when I wet the syrup in the bunuelo it gave a Delicious Taste… I’m In Heaven :-))

When I order the fried pork at other Cuban restaurants it is sometimes overcooked. However, the perfectly moist fried pork along with white rice and boiled yucca with mojo made my belly happy. The portions are amazing! My leftovers are enough for 2 extra meals! To top it off, their customer service was exceptional despite my inability to speak fluent Spanish. I would return here… if only I lived closer.

Found this gem on Unilocal a few months ago. We now eat there at least once a week. Took my cousins from GA for some authentic Cuban food & they loved it. The portions are huge & the prices reasonable. Server Jessica is very friendly & efficient. I would highly recommend this place!

By far the friendliest of Latin restaurants I’ve been to. Service, food & prices very good. Portions are generous so you’ll have ‘doggie bags’ to take home. At certain times of the day say 3−4pm they get super busy cause they have takeout/​cantinas so service might get slow but overall good. Because their food is good, they get busy. I’ve had food catered for my parties & the food was excellent. Be patient, they are growing because of good food, service & price. Sometimes they struggle to keep up. Jessica & Scarlet are my favorite waitresses. Been going to the 142^nd for years so when they opened this Rinconcito 5 min from me I was happy. My favorite breakfast place. Always bring my friends & family. Louis

My husband and I have been coming to this Rincincito since it first opened and we were so happy with the service and food that we started to get the cantina service. Well, I have to sadly say that the service and quality of food has decreased significantly. We went on Sunday for breakfast and there were only four other tables with guests. It took them nearly 15 minutes to acknowledge us. It then took them another 10 minutes to bring us water and another 10 to take our order. Once we received our food it wasn’t what we had ordered and it looked like it had been sitting out for a while. The waitress kept getting our food confused with the food of the table behind us. I noticed that ever since that new manager started, he used to be a waiter there, things have deteriorated. He would constantly forget to put our cantina orders all the time and we would be waiting around like a bunch of dummies. It got so bad we opted for delivery.

Convenient and friendly little neighborhood restaurant. They even deliver! And nothing beats stopping by the ventana on the way home.

Definitely didn’t disappoint! The portion was ginormous. Food was excellent. Thank you fellow Unilocalers

Came in for breakfast and had an amazing meal for a great price!!! Staff was courteous as always!!! I ordered the eggs over easy with tater tots and sausage. The sausage were cooked perfectly and the tater tots we’re golden and crunchy!!! My son and I ate for less than 20 dollars!!! Great spot!!!

I went for dinner with my family and it was pretty decent. It’s Cuban food so if you are in the mood for that it’s good. Service was great and the food came out fast.

It’s typically a mission to find a good place to eat that’s not jam packed especially on a weekend! But we were up to the task this afternoon. Our first pick ended up closing REALLY early so next up was this place which didn’t appear to be that chaotic.
We were able to get a table right away, but our server was lagging a bit. Amanda seemed nice, but definitely not the waitress you’re gonna want. She forgot to bring us bread and she never checked up on us after leaving our food. Other than that! Their food was really good!
I had the grilled chicken which is massive! Can definitely be shared, and she had the Fish Bites which were surprisingly delicious! Their portions are pretty big! And their prices are very reasonable. (FYI if you order a side of plantains it’s enough to feed 3)
It’s a busy restaurant but not a rowdy one. Parking is horrible as usual in Miami and I’ll post a picture rewarding the «Douchebag of The Day» I do recommend this restaurant if you want some good, hearty, inexpensive Cuban food.

Awesome portions for breakfast. Beats Denny’s or IHOP any day. Sunday mornings is packed so I would go Saturday. Get the Riconsito breakfast for $ 5.99 can’t beat it.

Just ordered in dinner from this new location. Ordered A Churrasco (medium) with white rice and black beans and A Bistec de Pollo a la Plancha with Fried Boniato and Maduros.
Lets start with the Churrasco
Tender and served on the medium rare side, which I appreciate as the cook should account for residual heat during transport. It could use a little salt but is otherwise tasty. It is also HuMonGoUs! The whole steak is folded over to fit the container! The chimichurri was good also, not great but good.
The white rice was served in an entire container! The black beans were nothing to write home about but were totally edible and I have no real complaints.
Bistec de Pollo a la Plancha
This thing took up the WHOLE lower half of my take out container! As expected, the boniato frito got a bit soggy in transport, and were a bit small in size, but were still tasty and not greasy. The maduros were really good, I got 6 pieces in my order and they were perfectly fried for my taste.
All in all, I think they can expect many more frequent delivery orders from me. The order arrived in about 45 min and the driver called me to better locate my place. He was very courteous and professional!
