Ate a completa with rice, beans, and roast pork. Good, but slacking on the pork. If there wasn’t Aromas del Peru on the same plaza, I’d eat there.

Ok. Let me start by saying that I used to come here all the time under the old management. Also I try not to write negative reviews. Always finding the positive. Got here for a late lunch. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. A few minutes later we ordered the entrée. The drinks came quickly. 35 minutes later no appetizer.(The place was half empty) She informed us that our entrée was almost here. I went ahead and cancelled appetizer. Yep you guessed it. Appetizer arrived right after I cancelled. A few minutes later the entrée arrived. We ordered the puntas de anca. A «sizzling» plate of meat. Nothing sizzling, meat was room temperature. I gave it 2 star because the taste was good even cold and the food abundant. Not worth the price and the time spent waiting.

Just ordered delivery from here and that was probably the worse«cuban style» chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! Maybe if I go to the restaurant and have some Colombian food it wouldn’t be as bad. But they shouldn’t put Cuban in there description. I also got some soggy cold microwave fries to go along with. Soggy in toasted bread/chewy chicken and a slab of cheese in there who puts cheese in there grilled chicken sandwiches. So disappointed wish I could get my money back.

Came to Mar de Plata last night with some friends. The food is authentic and excellent. The atmosphere is authentic and there was a live Mariachi band and live DJ after. Had a great time. The service was excellent. They have a new manager, I believe his name was Joe and he made our experience memorable. He checked on us several times and chatted with us about the restaurant and our experience. He was very amicable and attentive. We will definitely come back next week!

Omg I just ordered from this place. What a mistake. They got the order wrong first of all. They took forever in bringing the missing items. Most important the food is not good. We ordered the octopus ceviche. It was bad as in spoiled. We gave it back to them when they finally brought the missing arepas. The arepas are not what we expected. They are way expensive for the little white things that came. We ordered a combo platter that said tbone as part of the platter. I guess they were out of T-Bone bc they sent sirloin instead. They should have called to make sure the change was ok. We paid for T-Bone. In the same platter the fish was super salty. Overall the meal was really not worth the price. We left most of it. I personally think that when a small restaurant gets a very large order like ours they would try and make us a repeat customer not take me to the point that I want to write a review like this.

My first time in this restaurant resulted in me meeting the owner. Truly a very friendly, like able guy. I was awestruck to find such a beautiful place in West Kendall. It honestly looks better than most places in Coral Gables. There is truly a great environment here. For special events they have a large projector screen and a platform for live music. Anyway, I came here to get the Ajiaco. It was $ 8, $ 6 with the Unilocal promotion and wow what it deal it was. The amount of soup they gave me was massive and the side of rice and salad that came along with it looked like a whole other meal altogether. As for the Ajiaco, it was very delicious. It had just the right amount of chicken and veggies — great flavor too. The rice was really well cooked as well. This was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back here soon.

Ordered lunch for the first time from here. We ordered the Ceviche peruano(shrimp), Monday special of carne desmechada and colombian empanadas. Ceviche was very dissapointing, it lacked spice and had an overwhelming amount of red onion and cilantro. Now the special was really good, ordered it with mashed potatoes(lacked flavor), soup and white rice. The empanadas were perfectly crisp with a flavorful filling. Definitely ordering from here again for their specials, which can easily feed 2! All in all not bad

Gargle and exercise your masseter because Sunday night besides good eats you can sing and get recognize as the artist you always dreamed you could be. This place is similar to El Pueblito Viejo in Bird Road. Music is nice, atmosphere is nicely themed as a Colombian pueblo inside. The vibe is very inviting and the music is just simply great with oldies are seem to never have a time or an era. We have been here twice and the food is great. The fish mixed ceviche is my favorite. The menu is very varied and there is a little bit of everything for every palate. This lace wont disappoint. Make sure you get a good server, not all the girls aim to please. Some will ignore you at the sight of a bigger table because they in their tiny little mind think its a bigger tip. For those who need a little bid of knowledge to expand their mind some people even having a 200 dollar bill at the end will be the ones who leave a 10 dollar tip. An some of us who have a 30 dollar bill will go ahead and leave a 25 percent tip if the service is great. Overall service can always be adjusted if brought to the manager’s attention. This place overall is very entertaining and its great for family and friends. Venue is large and the bar sits high so you can view the platform from it, if people watching is your thing. We had a great time, usually after the HAmmocks library closes we head there for a light bite before going home.

there is a lot of potential for this place. I live near by, stopped one evening for a drink and a quick bite. Service is good. I sat at the bar,(by my self) had a small mondongo(beef tripe) it was very good. Ordered a Vodka tonic. noticed other guests were enjoying their food as well as service .Will have to stop by again and try other dishes. The place is really a large order for it to be sucessfull, they will need to deliver good food, service and value. Beers are priced reasonably. cocktails in the other hand are a bit pricey .They should not be shy about letting ppl know they serve Dominican food. I noticed some guess complimenting it.

Simply amazing, customer service was great, fantastic atmosphere and the staff were not only polite but friendly(even though I am not Hispanic). As for the food, I had a the Arroz con Pollo and it was amazing! Too much food for me to finished and Mike had the Churrasco. Both meal are pictures in the review and were simply amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place and will be back as soon as I eat the rest of my food!

Went here recently for a birthday dinner, overall the place is decent. Location is good, parking is fine and it’s a good place for groups. I was most disappointed by the service. I understand that it’s a busy Friday night, but quality of service shouldn’t be compromised. I felt the server wasn’t as attentive to me compared to the other members of my party because I don’t look Hispanic. Additionally, during our dinner, the server accidentally spilt champagne and dropped the glasses all around me. I wasn’t hurt but I was soaked. The manager was no where to be found and no portion of our meal was comped. We did end up being charged for the spilt champagne. Based on poor customer service, I would not return. What a shame.
