I am a past, present, and future canvas of Double Cross Tattoo. I have visited the shop on a few occasions to consult, have one tattoo done, and am already working on the next one. The staff is great, and the shop is as cleaner then some doctors offices I’ve been to. The first tattoo is about a year old and it still gets complimented on its freshness, detail, and almost 3D effect. On top of their tattoos and piercings they also have a great selection of Ink Life shirts, and skate gear. You can also view and purchase a wide array of paintings from local artists (some of them the tattoo artists them selves). If you dig body art and you’re cruising the down town/​Bay Side area stop in and check it out. You will be glad you did.

Came in drunk with my buddies for a small tattoo and they gave us a pretty solid price. Quality was great and staff was awesome. Definitely recommend being sober though you could end up with something and then wake up sober and be like «I definitely should’ve gotten something else.»

Hours are terribly wrong. They don’t close at 10pm (they apparently close when they want because I showed up at 8pm), and they don’t open at 10am (I waited 30 minutes before I decided if a shop can’t even open properly I definitely don’t want them to mark my body).

The tattoo artist Vic definitely tailors the sketch to your liking and will keep on sketching up a piece until you are content with it. The pain was unbearable for me so he let me take breaks, very professional and comfortable place. Definitely would recommend to anybody.

Stopped in with these guys to add a line on my shin. They were only a few blocks away from my hotel downtown.
Josh hooked it up! Fair price, perfect detail on the lettering, and he got it done quickly (although that is the least important part). Can’t recommend these guys enough — clean, fair, professional, and Josh told me all about what to check out during my stay in Miami. 5⁄5!

My boyfriend gets his tattoos done here and recommended this shop to me, so I went over and got my cartilage piercing a couple weeks ago. I’m so happy with it! I highly recommend coming here for your next tattoo or piercing. The service is top notch; they’re so welcoming and professional. And of course, it’s very clean and sanitary! Will definitely be coming back for tattoo’s.

Peter Photelo at Double Cross Tattoo & Skateboarding is a professional, talented artist. The shop, as the name states, is blend of the underground. It’s clean and well organized. Peter has the unique ability to see your vision and meet your needs as a client. Loved the detail, line-​work and efficiency. Would 100 percent recommend him to someone getting their first tattoo or a veteran adding a new piece to their ink collection.

Walking into Double Cross Tattoo & Skateboarding I was immediately greeted by one of the artist who ask me if I needed help with anything. I could tell just by looking around that this shop carried themselves like a family. My nerves were at ease as soon as I walked in. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The shop had a great working atmosphere with so much fantastic art to look at as well as noticing everyone enjoying what they did best, tattoos & piercings. As I was getting my tattoo I had a great conversation with the artist he made me feel comfortable and the tattoo was done before I knew it. I was in shock of how great my tattoo came out. This shop I highly recommend I will be going back for every tattoo and piercing in the future as well as recommending it to my family and friends. Couldn’t be more pleased with my experience.
