Real Authentic Cuban food, great service, and clean dining. So glad I stumbled across this place after the gps failed me on my first option. You know you are about to get a good meal when the place is heavy with locals, and full of heavy ones at that. From the soup to the specials, and from the windows to the wall you will enjoy everything on the menu. I wish I had one by my house. Go… you will not be disappointed.

I stopped by for a late lunch on a Tuesday with my wife and was not disappointed. I ordered the grilled chicken and it was juicy and well seasoned. It came with a side of rice, black beans, and plantains which were good as well. My wife ordered the steak casserole special and she said it was good. The place is a bit of a hole in the wall and we had to park 2 blocks away in an industrial area. Going in the day was ok but I would not at night with my wife. I would return if in the area during the day.

Staff was super friendly and quick the day I came in for dinner. Ordered the shrimp in creole sauce and it was delicious! Somewhat sad I didn’t get a sandwich, they sounded awesome.

Nice surprise! Food here is better than in higher end restaurants. My Vaca Frita was awesome. Try this if you’re looking for authentic Cuban food. I’m coming back here for sure.

Found this place last minute and decided to wing it! We almost left due to the horrific parking situation, but luckily a spot opened up right in the front. If you’ve heard the term«hole in the wall» this place makes a hole in the wall look like a 5 star restaurant! It’s very small and pretty dirty, yet somehow maintains a steady crowd. I can only assume the food must be delicious which was exactly the case. The service was friendly, nothing over the top, but just enough. They could definitely improve on the complimentary bread(old & stale) but they made up for it our main course. Which by the was was very fairly priced with daily specials. I had the grilled chicken breast, white rice and tostones. And the Vaca Frita, rice and red beans. The red beans were delicious! Very refreshing to have a variety other than the usual boring black beans. The food was great! Served hot! And full of flavor definitely taste like moms cooking. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, however if I happen to be in the area and craving some home cooking Cuban food, I would not hesitate to stop by. I have to give it 3 stars based on the horrible parking and the lack of cleanliness.

Wow us all I can say. Maybe Miami is filled with wonderful little Cuban restaurants but I’m from Orlando and this was such a treat! We visited for lunch. The oxtail was sold out so my wife and I both ordered the Pernil(roast pork) with rice, black beans, and steamed yuca. So much flavor! This was clearly made with pride and love. Can’t wait to go back.

We go to the hospital just around the corner and we love Latin /Cuban food so we thought we would try this place though it is in industrial area. Checked the Dirty Dinning report and this place might not be fancy but it is CLEAN! The food is great as well as the people its like going to your families house to eat. Portions are large and the flavor is there can’t wait for my next visit. We love these guys and by the looks of what I see while we are their a shole lot of other people do too.

First time eating Cuban food and it sure did not disappoint. A family owned establishment, this place surely gives the delicious Cuban cuisine with a homey feeling. A must try — their tostones… amazing.

This place basically has a lunch counter and a couple of tables. It may be one of the best mom and pop Cuban places I’ve been to in Miami. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you are in the neighborhood, I recommend that you stop, you’ll get so much wonderful food for your buck.

I’ve been eating regularly at this place for about 4 – 5 years, I’ve eaten almost the whole menu and I always get good food, some of my favorites are lechon asado, fricase de pollo, sopa de pescado, rabo encendido, arroz con pollo, etc, etc… I love their breakfast too I would recommend this place to anyone Ask for Cristina, she is great

Really good food, good service, and really good prices. This is a nice hispanic quick restaurant. It was pretty busy during lunch but the lady serving us was nice. Not a lot of parking so I had to park in the street. They have daily lunch specials and most plates are under $ 9.00.

Hidden within the neighborhood is an excellent low key Cuban spot. We came here after a Marlins game, staff was welcoming and fast. I think the owner was there also and it was good to see him carry in product and fresh food to restock the place… just gave me a family feel to such a quaint location. I had the Churrasco which was PERFECT. My friend has the oxtail And he reached about it all week. My other friend had the Cuban sandwich and was delicious The Flan… was…outstanding. Perfectly creamy and just was the icing on the cake for an awesome Cuban spot Authentic food, juicy steak and excellent dessert!

I love little mom and pop restaurants and this place did not disappoint. Coming here took me back to my experience when I was in Colombia for a trip.(Which is a good thing!) The food here is delicious(sabroso!) and the owners were very very friendly. I’m currently a Spanish student at my school and I got to practice it nicely here. They cook very quickly and their prices are very reasonable. Tried some Cuban coffee which was great and got to watch at the same time the World Cup(Switz vs France, it was fun cheering and yelling with the owners)! If you’re looking for something light I highly recommend their fish soup, which unlike other places is not too salty and has plenty of veggies so it’s a very healthy light eat. On the other hand if you’re looking for something a little more hearty their chicken with yellow rice was very nice. All of this paired very nicely with their coffee.(Just order a normal coffee with milk, it’s a secret that would make Starbucks cry their butts off). Cheers and enjoy! :-)

This place offers great breakfast and lunch options with budget friendly prices. The food is always flavorful and the portions are large. Although this place is not for the health conscience; it is comfort food for those with an appetite at this modest Cuban eatery.

Great price, simple, good food and fast service. Can’t ask for too much more. English friendly as well. The Don sitting on a bar bench eating lasagna like it was an old Italian eatery was an unique bonus
