Pros: — Fairly quick and courteous service — Large portions — Not expensive Cons: — The ambiance — Very few staff speak English Conclusion: It’s a nice place if you are in the mood for authentic Colombian. I ordered the Egg and Stake, which is one of their Friday specials. It was fairly well made and the portions were large. There was enough to stuff myself and take some home :) I don’t speak Spanish, so it was a little difficult to communicate. However, I know I’ll be going back there, and if you are in the vicinity, check the place out.

This is your basic hole — in — the — wall kind of Cuban take out place. Cheap dishes, fast service and food made pretty quick. I had one of their beef empanadas which was 1.25, relatively cheap. The crust was crunchy yet soft once you bite in. The beef inside was good though, it was mixed in with potatoes. I wasn’t blown away by the food here but I wasn’t displeased with it, basically«mediocre«. I’d only eat here if I was in a rush, otherwise I’d dine else where.

I walked by. I have walked by many times; but this time I actually stopped. I saw a big pan of flan in the cooler. FLAN! I really do enjoy good flan — operative word here is «GOOD.» I ordered a piece of flan to go and took it with me. After 3 bites, I had to throw it away. It tasted burnt; such a novice mistake with flan. The texture was so good, but that burnt flavor just ruined the entire thing. It didn’t help that they used a bottled flan syrup. Really??? I might stop by again and try something other than the flan.
