Da Burger Shack

We are always in search of a good burger. This wasn’t it. Bun was a little soft, meat was good, but had a distinctive burnt flavor. Fries were OK. We tried the Chipolte Burger and the standard Angus Burger, with an onion ring, which was crunchier and better seasoned than your average rings.
Overall impression was slightly better than average. Our gold standard is still Monster Burger.

My boyfriend and I pretty much live for a good burger and we were both impressed when we tried this truck at the Wellington Food Truck Invasion. We split the bacon bomb and it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had! Super juicy and beyond flavorful, we’ll be hitting up this truck whenever we have the chance.

I had the guava sensation burger a couple of weeks back… and it was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the burger was. At $ 9, the value of the burger was very reasonable. The burger is on the smaller side, I wanted to order another one because it was so good and I was still hungry, but I didn’t. The burger has a donut cut in half for buns which adds some sweetness and texture. As the name implies, it also comes with generous portions of guava which further adds to the sweetness of the burger. The slice of ham also adds an extra dimension of flavor. Overall based on the guava sensation burger I give Da bRuger Shack 5 out of 5. I’ve yet to try any of their other burgers, but I look forward to doing so soon!

Burger is ok and it will take forever for them to give it to you, which is contradictory for a food truck. Not sure if it’s woth the long wait

Our local dog friendly bar stopped being dog friendly and we rushed over to the funky buddha to see what truck was out but it was looking grim as it was already pretty late. Dudes on the truck were super awesome in staying later than normal and getting me and our entire group fed. I had the 1 burger with the bacon jam and it was awesome. Theres some kind of sauce or something they glaze their burger which thats very umami. The burgers are also pretty huge (thick patty, i’d guess around ²⁄₃ lb?). Fries were also very on point. My buddy had the veggie burger and he liked it alot as well.

They came to our office yesterday, we have a different food truck come every Tuesday, This one was meh for me, besides the menu I posted they also had some smaller burgers, small fry, and a drink for $ 8.
Their fries were amazing I must give credit were credit is due, but there were only 2 people working the truck and the lines were long. They definitely could’ve used a third person. In fact, it took me over 20 mins to get my veggie burger with fries and we stood outside in the hot, hot sun.
The veggie burger was just OK for me, I probably wouldn’t order it again. I will say it was one of the more moderately priced food trucks we’ve had. They did have a chicken sandwich, but if the veggie burger took 20 mins I have no idea how long that would’ve taken.
