Contemporary Images Salon

I love this place !!! I have been doing my hair at Contemporary Images for over 20 years I would not go any where else. It’s on the second floor over the Mattress store and Gymboree. Don’t let the stairs intimidate. Margarita is my hairdresser and she is fabulous. I completely trust her recommendation and her hair advice. I have never left the salon unsatisfied. My daughter who is now in her 20’s has also been doing her hair there since her 1^st haircut. When it was time for high school prom we knew that Margarita was the one that we trusted for her beautiful updo. All of the hairdressers there Jackie, Simon and Joanne have been working there for as long as I could remember and are highly skilled professionals. All the customers are all very loyal from women, men to children everyone is like family. Its a great place for high lights, ombré, balagie, keratin, Brazilian blow out and the latest hair techniques. You will definetly feel at home and be pampered at Contemporary Images.

Great salon, I highly recommend them. The staff are really nice, friendly and very approachable. I booked with Margarita after finding their business on Unilocal.My previous hairdresser (in Coconut Grove) moved to LA two years ago and I have been trying to find another place ever since. I can definitely say that I have finally found it here. Very reasonable pricing, great cut and great highlights. It isn’t a super fancy salon where you leave, feeling like you just made a mortgage payment on your hair, it is exactly what it should be… nice, comfortable, clean and enjoyable.

Margarita’s expertise at all different processes is outstanding. I have never been able to stay with 1 hairdresser for more than 5 years, as something always changes. Well today was my last time after more than 20 years. The only reason I would leave is because I am moving out of the state. The salon is a very friendly, welcoming, and relaxing place. You always are treated like your part if their family. All of the employees are very professional with all the latest and most current trends. You will always have the most pleasant experience possible, looking and feeling great.

I have been getting my hair done by Jackie for 10 years now. She is the only person I will let touch my hair. I have very thick hair; and needless to say, I have gotten a lot of bad hair cuts because stylist either don’t know how to deal with thick hair, or they are just to lazy and give up. But Jackie, she is amazing! She is also great with color. Not only can she do your tradition colors, she has a way of making fun colors look natural in my hair.
Everyone is super nice there. The prices are reasonable. I never plan on going anywhere else. =)

This place is very welcoming and laid back. Jackie is the best!

I’m not sure what kind of bad day V V had, but I have to assume that this is the not the first time she has been violated.
Everyone in this salon is professional and friendly. I have always been made to feel relaxed and comfortable and when I leave I look fabulous.
Please listen to all the 5 stars reviews and ignore the lone nut job. :-)

Don’t know what VV is talking about. Love this place. Love Jackie. I drive from over 30 miles from Broward for over 10 years to go there! I know for a fact that they have a following of entire families and friends for over 30 years!

I love this salon. Simone is great. Not only does she cut my hair and my husband’s hair very well, but she also highlights and colors my hair every 4 months or so. I love my hair color! This salon has been around forever, and has tons of repeat customers, and I’m so thankful that my husband and I can both agree on something! Margarita and Joanne also are very skilled, but for now I’m sticking with Simone. This is an excellent salon with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I’m so used to salons where nobody speaks english… Being able to communicate in my first language is a huge plus. I will be there in another 4 months to get my color n highlights done again.

I have been making appointments with Joanne for the past 2 years or so and she is great also.
(You can’t go wrong in here.)
My daughter also had her first haircut here.
I highly recommend moms do it this way. Sit your kid in the chair next to you and let them watch you get your hair cut. Then, when it’s their turn, they don’t freak out because they know exactly what’s coming, they just watched Mommy do it.
