Chandi Wines & Spirits

This place has a good selection. The prices are average (or at least average for the DT Miami area). They have a small private parking lot so you don’t have to fend for street parking. Overall a quick and easy place to get booze :)~

Decently selection, but a little pricey. Very convenient as it’s just around the corner from my house. I’m not a big drinker, so I don’t really mind paying the extra few bucks rather than driving across town!
The staff here are quite friendly, and although they try to be helpful, they don’t really know their wines at all. I’m not much of a wine drinker, but even I knew more than the staff working the last time I was in. Kinda sad. I’d like to see more knowledgeable staff.
Overall, it’s a decent neighborhood place, but not somewhere you want to go to «stock up».

The location on Eight Street and S. Miami Ave by the Burger King is turning out to be a fabulous neighborhood liquor store. It is within walking distance of my building as well as easy enough to swing by in my car on the way home. But if I felt lazy, this place also delivers.
The store is small and so the selection of beer, wine and spirits is necessarily limited. But there is definitely something here for everyone and every taste or mood. For each category, this location offers a good selection in every price range.
Keep in mind, coming here is like going to Walgreens to do your grocery shopping. You’ll pay slightly more here than you would elsewhere –but that’s the convenience charge I guess.
This location is also open very late.
