This place is all I found around my house. I used to take my son to Randazzos since he was born but it’s not around the area. He hasn’t had a hair cut in about 2 years so he needed a hair cut badly and I didn’t want to drive up. This place is ok. I mean it great for kids. They sure know how to keep them under control but I don’t understand why the haircut is $ 19??? Why so pricey guys??? My son Literally got Trim and that’s it. We were out of there in about 15 minutes. 3 stars for pricing

The shop is clean. They have kid friendly shows on the TV, couple of toys for the babies. Reina was great she adjusted for movements the baby made. She didn’t get frustrated. She gave us some hair and a first haircut certificate, and a rewards card. I couldn’t take pictures during the haircut but the results were great.

I’ve taken my son there 4 times to get a haircut. The first two times he did great, the third time he cried a lot and the haircut did not come out so great. The last time, the stylist asked my mom to carry him in the chair and they entertained him with toys and tv. He did great! I am so happy with his fresh new cut. I give them 4 stars for patience and craft. The reason I do not give them 5 stars is because they are a little pricey.

I took my daughter for her first haircut and did not have a very good experience. The wait time was quick even though the place was busy so that’s a star. The TV that they have to distract children at the chair had the credits going so I had to fumble around between holding my child who was having meltdown and get my phone to play something on YouTube. Although the lady cutting her hair was nice I would have appreciated a little more patience, I would have liked to been able to take some pictures as it was my daughters first haircut. Conveniently after the cut the lady proceeds to tell me they are out of certificates for first time cuts that I would need to return some other time when they get more. Like really how do you run out of those? It’s a children’s salon for goodness sakes. So now I have to follow up with a phone call and revisit on a busy schedule. Also the cost was very pricey for 2 – 3 locks of hair that were cut. Needless to say I probably won’t be returning if I can find another children’s salon.

Reading the other reviews I was quite worried about my sons haircut since he has a performance tomorrow. As soon as I walked in the door I was a little confused where to go but a lady named Reina took care of me. She let me know I had to sign my name in the list first and would be called. As soon as I signed she said she would cut my sons hair so literally no wait time(this was on a Friday around 5 – 6). So my son is good with haircuts there was a tv and Reina had given him a book. She was gentle and listen very well to what I wanted. She often said little comments like oh you look handsome to my son and when needed ask him nicely to look down or up, I found this very respectful. I loved Reina she was overall amazing ! The only thing that was a con was the price which was 17.99, I usually take my son further north and get it for 12 dollars. Overall I would recommend this place and would recommend Reina.

The first time i bright my kid here they cut her bangs so short she looked like she had the same stylist as Jim Carrey in dumb & dumber. Thankfully they had grown in nicely by the time we took our Christmas pictures. I brought her back about 4 more times after that. Each time I felt like she was being rushed. I get that with most small children you need to work fast because their patience is limited, but that’s not the case with my kid ATALL when it comes to getting her hair done. She absolutely loves it and will sit there for half an hour if she needs to, but no one ever listened to me when I said that. The last rushed haircut resulted in her hair being at least half an inch longer on one side than the other– none of it the fault of my kid. She sits perfectly still and tilts her head down when asked to. We’ve moved on to another place for her, but if your kid needs a cut from a place that will have it done in 10 minutes, by all means check this place out. Also, I’ve seen some Super Nanny worthy tantrums go down at this place(by children well out of their toddler years) and they never seemed to phase the employees. So if your kid needs a quick cut AND is a bit on the bratty side, definitely check this place out.

I used to take my kids there all the time when they were young. Now they are teens and no longer want to go there but One of the things I disliked toward the end is the smell that the place had. Laura is really good at what she does, I don’t remember the dominican Lady’s name but I found her to be a little rough with kids, don’t get me wrong she is a good stylist but doesn’t have patience with little one.

Giving it 4 stars based on first and last experience. First time it was with Luz and last time with Laura. It is a lil pricey but its more appealing to kids with the tv’s, toys and lollipops. My son loves coming here and the haircuts are definitely better than when I’ve taken him to a regular barber shop(not to mention the equipment here has only been used on kids).

Wham, bam, thank you ma’am! I took my 8-month-old to get his first official haircut. The lady was super sweet to him and tried to soothe him, though he cried almost from the moment we stepped in. Fortunately everything went super quick(I think the whole cut took about a minute and a half!) and then she put his clippings in a cute little certificate keepsake thingy and gave it to me. I went there on a Monday night so I went straight to the stylist’s chair. I love that at The Palms at Town & Country all the businesses are around the parking lot, so you can park near if needed.

Ok so I went for my little girls first haircut. It was a disaster. The lady that cut her hair was so rude and had no patience. My daughter was super upset and she continued to try to cut her hair without even attempting to calm her down. I finally had enough and stopped the hair cut as she tried to continue. Luckily I contained myself. When someone tells you to stop it means STOP!!! Needless to say the lady tells me .“this is your first? I can tell” what the f**k is that supposed to mean? I could have 10 kids and I still would say the same thing. You need patience working with children and if a child is not responding well to her first hair cut take a minute to help ease the child in her first experience of getting her hair cut. This lady was such a douche!!!

My toddler is not a big fan of getting her haircut, so going to any hair cuttery is always an ordeal. The upside is that the staff at Cartoon Cuts seems to be completely prepared and well versed in dealing with a squirming, screaming child. Both times I have taken my daughter there, I have been completely amazed with the quality of the haircut despite her inability to sit still. That is talent.

I have two small, quick-moving kiddos. Cartoon Cuts is up to the task of getting them quality hair-cuts for low cost and in a short amount of time. For about $ 20/head(including tip) I can get my son and daughter’s hair cut in an easy to up-keep, non-trendy style. The downside to Cartoon Cuts is the occassional wait time. If you don’t arrive the moment they open, you could be there 30 minutes before being seen. This is not because the staff isn’t working hard, but because they seem to always be short-staffed. Another downside is that the stylists I’ve had do not speak English. My Spanish isn’t half-bad, but it’s hard for me to talk about layers or trimming bangs in anything other than English. So far my kids’ hair has always turned out good, but I’m not always sure me and the stylist are on the same page.
