As the cute name suggests, this studio offers both yoga and martial arts classes. I am not a kung fu kind of gal, but I went to try their yoga class(first class free.) The studio is right by the BP gas station on the second floor. The inside décor is nothing fancy, wooden floor with a wall of mirror and another a wall of pictures and paintings, windows with simple blinds, a few plastic chairs… I’ve been to a lot of more beautifully adorned yoga studios. I quite enjoy the class there despite the set up. Nathalie is a nice instructor, and while the class is big with over 25 students, she did go around to help out beginners. As it’s an all-level class, she offers different versions of the the exercise so we can do the one we feel comfortable with. I don’t feel intimidated or uncomfortable as an outsider, as I sometimes do in other studios. They offer unlimited classes for around $ 80 per month, or packages such as 4 classes for $ 60. There are not a lot of classes but if you live nearby and the schedule fits you, not a bad option.
