Blue Waters ll

Just a thanks toJohn and John for a great trip. The boat was fantastic! They worked hard to get us on fish and by the end of the day we had caught several. I would recommend them to anyone, just be ready to get yelled at when the fish are on.

I highly recommend Blue Waters II. Captain John has been at it 47 years. Get him to tell you some of his sea captain stories, like ferrying a yacht from. Holland and watching all the teak furniture get washed off deck in a storm. The owner asked what John to go back and pick it up and John said «you’ll have to buy some more». Anyway, John’s son John is the mate and he makes sure all the rods are set up and he gets the fish hooked good and hands you the rod to reel them in. Jackie, Captain John’s wife, makes sure the snacks and drinks are ready and there are plenty. It’s a nice ride through the bay to the ocean, stopping to buy some live bait from a nice guy on a boat anchored int the bay. Then we went to a buoy and jiggled for bait fish and were quite successful. Then, John put out the kite and ran the line so out. We had about 6 lines out. We got dolphin on and by the time I got it to the boat, we had three more on. Captain John was on the bridge shouting at me and my friends like a ball coach, helping us keep from tangling out lines. We got three of the dolphin in and then hooked three mackerel. We tried for grouper but weren’t as lucky but it was a very enjoyable day of fishing mad more so by Captain John and his family. We will be back.
