Wow this place doesn’t give a f***. It is over priced for what you get. I just paid $ 16 for a lot of rice and a few chunks of dry burnt chicken. I’m not ordering here again

Unfortunately the food just wasn’t really fresh the taboulleh was alright but a bit expensive for the size. the falafel was rock hard on the outside and cold on the inside. The falafel came with pita bread that was just too hard to even eat was as if it was meant to be dipped in sauce or hummus but it came with the falafel.

Stay away from this place! First, they touched the pita without gloves. Then, they drained the chicken right on the pita. They initially did not want to give us pita with our baba ganoush. Once we got home everything just looked very unappetizing. The grape leaves were falling apart and the chicken shawarma wrap looked deathly dry and pukish pink. I still tried a bite and the chicken was dry and old. We threw out the entire meal.

They simply decided not to delivery my food without any explanation. Had me waiting easily over two hours until the order was kindly cancelled by the third party delivery service. I called the restaurant on several occasions and they did not answer their phone. I NEVER review on Unilocal(as you can see) but this poor customer service demanded such. Hope your experience is better!

Best Lebanese food. Very nice and warm welcoming place and there is a place to pray up there!

Freshest falafel wrap in Miami! Falafel a are fried in the spot and sandwiches pressed to perfection! the fact that it’s $ 5 makes it taste that much better!

Could seriously take a bath in this hummus. They claim to make their own pita in house. It’s good. Friendly & hospitable hosts. Babaganoush is delish.

Definitely the best Arabic food I’ve had in Miami. Price is amazing and you must try the beef shawarma with fries. Atmosphere is very relaxed and the owner is super nice. They also sell sheesha and tobacco! This place is my new lunch spot.

Everything they served right down to the salad was old or over cooked. Gross.

Ordered lunch with some co-workers via Eat24. It arrived in less than 45 minutes. Ordered the appetizer mix platter and chicken shwarma wraps. The BEST baba ganoush I’ve had(not too smoky or chunky; seasoning was balanced). Falafels were good(not greasy at all) and their tabbouleh was great. On to the chicken shwarma wraps… we all bite into them and realize they gave us meat instead(which by the way, was very flavorful and moist; just not what we ordered). OOPS. We call them immediately and let them know — they send us 3 new chicken shwarma wraps in 30 minutes. Despite the snafu, the food was very fresh and tasty. I’ll definitely order from them again.

This is one of the best Middle East restaurant/cafes in Miami. I loved everything that I ordered: schwarama, humus, falafel, tabouleh, etc. They really do know how to do it. It’s a very relaxed settings with a very friendly staff.

A friend recommended I try this place out. Looks can be deceiving, because it was awesome! The food was delicious, and the owner was so hospitable and generous. It was like we were dining in his home. We started with hummus and pita — they make the hummus there, and it was awesome. Then, falafel wrap — super yummy, and finished off with their home made baklava. All delicious. And for two people came to $ 20 total including tax and drinks — steal. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for good med food!

I love this place. Food is good and it is a great place to buy hookah tobacco and accessories.

I eat falafel here 4 times a week. Nobody else in Miami serves made to order falafel rolled up in a healthy, hearty snack. Also try the hummus and eggplant. And of course don’t forget about the desserts. Daily Bread is good. But Barbar is great. Keep up the good work.

The market are still a tad bit overpriced, but they have good options. I just didn’t think the 5 things I bought(labneh, pita bread, two cans of baba ganoush, and dead sea salts) should have come up to be $ 20. Either way, it’s good to see that they make pita bread fresh — and they’re traditional although their version is a little too tough to tear and could use a little more flavor. However, finding traditional style, thin pita bread in Miami is not easy. The good thing is that they have white and wheat! Still didn’t see any shabiyet or kanafe/knafe, knafi, but it would be hard for a small market to have everything if the turnover is not high so I can’t blame them. However, you MUST get their pistachio baklava(they also have the walnut version) — it is VERYGOOD!

I got a new favorite: a platter with creamy humus, baba ganoush(sweet not the usual bitter stuff) and leben. Pour olive oil, sprinkle some paprika and the humus and eat with lots of home made pita bread. It’s like being in the old part of Jerusalem again(although the owner is actually Lebanese)

I finally convinced my skeptical boyfriend to come here, its right by our apt. and i love middle eastern food. We ordered the greek salad, which was delicious, the dressing wasnt too strong, and all the ingredients were fresh. We also ordered the kibbi, hummus, and the chicken, everything was authentic and really good. The service was warm, and friendly, like being in someones home. I really enjoyed it, and will be back very soon.

My gf and I were driving from work on Friday and we were on Calle Ocho(8 street) and we saw this Middle Eastern store, I said: sweet! Let’s hit it! We bought spinach pastries, sfiha meat pastries, pita bread and pistaccio and walnut baklava. The pastries were ok and the pita was a bit stale even though it said that it was made fresh everyday. The baklava was totaly unedible. The Daily Bread is way better. I wanted to but the stuff grape leaves but they didn’t look good at all. The store is a bit rundown inside and it has little market products. The fridge with drinks was half empty with little variety. I love middle eastern food and I’m not a basher but I wish this place was better.

I’m upping my report to a 5 star. Everytime I come here people are the best! Customers chat with you, help you find stuff. The owners chat and help you out. I never leave without free stuff extra. Get this, they have fresh almonds in their pods straight off the tree. It was the best almond I’ve ever had, like a science lesson too. They have a new pictorial menu with more options. Their hummus is perfect, spinach pies are the best in town and veggie friendly, their grape leaves are moist and fresh. Y’all need to check it out and start patronizing pronto!!!
