I, too, agree with the previous reviews. The older male, who I believe may be the owner or at least the one in charge, is extremely unprofessional. He has quite an attitude and poor customer service, which is ironic since he has«been in the business [his] entire life,» according to him. My boyfriend and I(who look very American) had gone in with a very specific idea in mind for a bar height table. Assuming we were both non-hispanics this man would keep commenting to his coworker and daughters, in Spanish, about how difficult we were being and how we were a waste of his time. I waited for the right moment to make a cheeky comment to him in Spanish before we left. The only reason I would give this business more than one star would be because of the man’s daughter, who stepped in with major service recovery. She was extremely helpful and polite, and we ended up ordering a table which was otherwise impossible to find(we had spent weeks searching). However, it has been three weeks since we placed our order and we keep getting the runaround when inquiring about our shipment. We had actually gone next door to Restaurant Furniture of Florida, and the man there was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. After not finding what we were looking for he referred us to Mr. Barstool, since they sold items from vendors who design the type of table we wanted. I would definitely recommend going to him for barstools and tables, and avoiding Mr. Barstool at all costs.

I totally agree with previous post from fellow Unilocaler. Skip this place! You can get the same merchandise for less, better service and shipped to you sooner-without imperfections from New Cutler Furniture on west side of US1 across from Best Buy. I speak from experience. ‘Nuff said.

I am struggling between 2 and 3 stars. I would give it 2.5 if I could. However, since I want to be «nice» — and this is the only review here — I’m rounding up… My fiancé and I came here to buy a set of 4 bar stools. We recently bought a home last year and are looking to fill it up. We had gone to City Furniture and seen the bar stools there(which were fairly«cheap» at $ 70/stool). But, a coworker had mentioned this location and had been happy with her purchase, so I wanted to check them out. I waited to catch this location the next weekend so that I could run by this store(as they had closed already by the time we finished up with CF). They are definitely pricier(easily going from the mid-$ 100s to the $ 300 range), depending on the stool you get. However, the professionalism here was really lacking. First, there’s only one guy attending the store. And he’s an older gentleman who hangs out at his computer, watching YouTube(which is fine by me), in a wife beater… lol. The«ribbed tank»(whatever) threw me for a loop. For the price you’re selling your bar stools at, you may want to put on a shirt because it makes me think the quality of your bar stools(or even the care with which you handle them) may not be that great if you don’t care how you present yourself to your customers. Second, after we’d picked out a style we really liked, we were locking in the price. Literally. We were going to town with the guy, determining total price, shipment(or if we should pick up), etc. We were about to drop $ 600+ for 4 stools. Then another customer walked in, and the man tells the other woman: «One second while I finish up with these kids here.» I think he realized how rude that sounded afterwards because he turned and kind of laughed it off, but it wasn’t funny at all. It was incredibly degrading — how he said it and the tone that was used. If I could italicize the word«kids,» I would. That, the overpriced stools, and the general feeling we got from him was what sent us back to City Furniture on US1. AND we spent only $ 70+tax per stool. Buuuut, maybe we just caught him on a bad day. No idea. I just know that I wouldn’t go back. :(
