Service is excellent, but food is not extraordinary, although prices are. On top of that, to get to the restroom located in the second floor, you have to got through a dark hall with lots of ornaments scattered through the floor, one of the stalls was broken and they were out of paper towels. Not really what you expect for the price!

Ok so let me start off by saying we really tried at this place, that said EVERYTHING was a disaster and I mean everything starting with the Oysters that were bad I have ate oysters everywhere in Miami these were just disgusting and smelled like sewer to be honest. Second I asked for SEASCALLOPS and got scallops that looked lied Clams I ate them. for 14.99 I didn’t Make a huge fuss just horrible sums it up the best part was the Ceaser salad. This place is ok if u don’t know your seafood if u do then even red lobster would of been better save yourself the trip and eat at a drive thru seafood place … horrible.. just horrible. Never again I’m giving it one star because the salad and the poor waiter were nice.. btw this is no longer Catch of the day

If you want oysters that they haven’t washed, full of shells and human hair in your main course this is the place to go. Oh and expect them to do nothing if you complain

The service was ok but the food was horrible. My husband ordered oysters and they were old. He’s been sick all day. The ambiance was strange… Very off… I should of know better by the fact that there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Oh well.

This place is by far one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve been to. My family came into town looking for good seafood and that’s exactly what we got here. The service was excellent which is rare in Miami(thanks HECTOR). I’m not a big seafood eater but we started with an amazing soup filled with a bunch of different seafood meats, would definitely recommend having that. For my entrée I ordered the chicken Alfredo(hints at me not really liking seafood) not expecting anything as special as everyone else at the table. To my surprise the Alfredo had one of the best Alfredo sauces I ever had. Thick, creamy, and very well seasoned. Overall, no complaints ONCE so ever! I’d recommend this place to anyone, even those who don’t have that big seafood appetite like the rest of the world. If you do however have that seafood appetite the taste of every dish me and my family tried had excellent flavor and was all fresh. A++++++

I ordered the large shrimp platter with sweet plantains. I got the lightly battered, what they call crispy. They were huge and awesome. The plantains were perfectly made, a couple of coronas later… one of the best fried shrimp meals I have had.

We stopped here instead of going to our«Go to choice» while at Dolphin mall and I’m glad we tried it. Both my wife and I had the Blacked Soward Fish Sandwich($ 9.99). It was a nice size fillet on a ciabatta bun, with grilled onions and a white cheese served with fries. My kids ordered the stake sandwich minis($ 5.99) and I was flabbergasted by how much they were served. This was a big plate and the kids loved it… I got to eat leftovers the next day… The service was great and the ambiance was light. All in all, I would recommend this place to all.

Oyster Tuesday beats taco Tuesday any day! A dozen for $ 8.50 and ½ dozen for $ 4.50…can’t beat it. $ 8STRONG margaritas equals best date night ever!

I really wanted to like this place, the ambiance is great, like an island vibes, with that being said the food isn’t all that great, my food came out salty and the«homemade lemonade» was actually water and lime. For the prices I expect more! I will not be coming back!

I’ve been here a few times and it’s never full which reflects on the attentive service and speed of the food being ready for the table. The food isn’t the greatest but the drink specials are fabulous. I enjoy it for lunch way more than I do for dinner. Very clean location. A bit pricy considering the location and quality of food being served.

Great service and great food the couple of times I been here. I enjoyed the mahi bites and fries. The churrasco never disappoints and the happy hour mango mojito was muy excellent. I do however agree with the other reviews that the oysters should be avoided. P.s the seafood linguini and the parrilleda de carne was also very good.

Truly wonderful place. Our waiter Yisel was just above exceptional, she was insightful and was very good at her job. The food was really good. Not a big fan of sea food but wanted to try something new and was definitely worth it.

First off service is rough here! Takes forever to get your food. Even a while for the drinks and bread. My date had a hair in her shrimp which cause her to lose her appetite. And my drink(coke) had a mojito leaf in it. Long story short I paid for my plate and left. Don’t plan on returning to this restaurant.

The reviews here do not reflect what I just experienced. Food was excellent, service was great(thank you David), wine was very good and inexpensive $ 23 for a bottle of Malbec. We ordered La Parrillada de Mariscos $ 30 it’s enough food for 2 people. We heard the kitchen staff is new as of 2 months ago. Which explains alot.

I normally consult with Unilocal before eating at a place I’ve never been. Because of that, most of my ratings are 4 or 5 stars. I must have been lazy or just stupid and I didn’t check the ratings before wandering into Acqua Nell Mare. Upon walking into the restaurant the first thing I noticed was a very unpleasant oder. I should have bailed at that point, but my wife seemed to not be bothered by it. The staff seemed nice and were fairly efficient. The menu was quite large and seemed to have a lot of different seafood selections. The prices were between $ 9.99 and $ 48.00. The menu had those ghetto full page ads on every other page advertising things like bail bonds, 411pain, and hurricane shutters. That’s a huge turn off for me, especially if you have dishes in the menu that cost 48 bucks. So I ordered a fish sandwich and my wife had soup and a salad. Both meals were passable but not great. When they brought the bill out, we found they automatically added the gratuity into the total. I find that extremely insulting, its like they think I’m cheap or something. I normally tip over 20%, but if all they want is 15% thats fine with me. Oh well… I won’t be back and I will go back to checking Unilocal before going in a place like that in the future.

It went from bad to worst. We ordered oysters and we had to spit them out. Never order oyster from this place. Horrible experience. Service was great but the food was the worst possible. Never coming back here

Stopped by for late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Server was polite, but hostess left a lot to be desired(servers and busboys at least dressed in uniforms; she might as well have been a tourist visiting the restaurant). By the way, the building still has the name of the prior business there(Catch of the Day), and it is also on the interior wall(in neon lights no less). As for food. Appetizer sampler was disappointing(sent out overcooked conch fritters instead of cod, then took two attempts to have it corrected– they came out as we finished the meal, and were burned on the outside, raw on the inside). Fish fillet was frozen and mealy. Ordered paella for two; while shellfish were cooked well, the level of salt in the dish was very high(overpoweringly so). Skipped dessert. Good service does not outweigh poor food; in this case, neither was up to par. Will have to choose Fridays next time.

Went with my family today, service was bad, even though a few of the waiters were friendly we were left unattended for too long too many times. FOOD was meh, not particularly bad but nothing worth the price. I do have to admit that sauces that come with the big sampler appetizer were excellent. I don’t regret trying the place but I won’t be back.

This restaurant replaces the prior establishment which was«Catch of the Day.» Pros: My meal Cons: My bff’s meal, the price and the slow service So I understand Dolphin Mall is touristy and all but come on! I will pay $ 56 for an entrée if I’m dining by the sea but not at some fly by night seafood restaurant at an outlet mall! There was an actual entrée at that price! My Salmon Tropical was $ 23.99– Grilled salmon filet topped with fresh pineapple, mango and strawberry with one side item of choice which of course was sweet plantain to satisfy the fat cuban chick inside of me! I was happy with my entrée. I felt the fruit complimented the salmon and helped deliver a solid dish for me. My lunch date however had a different experience. the mahi was overcooked lacking both flavor and juice. All in all the food did not create a party in his mouth as it should have. In addition, service was slow and while we waited, no bread, rolls, crackers or smiles were shared with our table. We were stuck waiting and waiting and waiting. I left with a happy belly but i cant speak for the bff who only had regrets and a great big hole in his pocket.
