This place is awesome! The variety and amount of beers is no joke, and the quality of the food is literally amazing. It’s a hole in the wall type of place and looks sketchy and uninviting from the outside but on the inside the atmosphere is very comfortable and just all around good vibes. There was one server from what I can see but he was phenomenal and I never waited long at all, extremely attentive and nice. The food sounds weird at first, but trust me: bacon chocolate ice cream and bacon caramel sauce is GREAT. Very impressed, extremely satisfied with the food, and good pricing considering the area.

What an interesting experience is to stop by 180* first i believed it was a beer garden. Coming from Washington DC, i thought about finding a nice garden with a brewry in the middle. Instead of that, the entrance eas in between arches and looked more to a rat/hole than everything else. The wood table outside didn’t invite us either. But curiosity when you have us. The inside was clean and well looking in its minimalist way. The kitchen cleans and well– perfumed by the different meals getting out of this space. The barmaids smiling and taking time to answer my questions about the menu. The list of beer was large and finding a Chimay Red was a really great surprise. I eant to the Ahi tuna and it was excellent whilw my colleague enjoyed and more the 50⁄50 burger. Everything in a reasonable price! Thanks 180*!

Came to 180 last night before Madonna concert and OMG. Everything was so delicious and creative. The burgers which we shared as sliders were the best burgers ever. Place has a great atmosphere and décor. Nice covered patio out side curbside. We had the… 50⁄50 sliders — OMG I believe they won best burger for it in 2015 Pull pork sliders– toped with coleslaw and BBQ sauce Truffle fries– were finger licking good. Maduros and fried cheese– was a great pairing. Wine list is a little short :-( Everything was so good, I can’t wait to go back

Delicious and creative menu. The staff is very friendly and quick to help! The place itself is great, you can play board games and video games in their lounge corner. Beer is always cold. Try the 50⁄50 burger, the grilled cheese and of course the snow crab egg rolls! Overall cool place to enjoy great food and cold beers in downtown Miami

Walking into the restaurant on a Monday night, I was a bit disappointed by the décor and lack of a full bar. We were here for my sisters 24th birthday from Pembroke Pines, and I had high hopes after reading all the awesome reviews. After being handed the menu by a nice lady, I noticed that what I had selected from the online menu(the Korean steak) was absent. I asked the waitress and she said they had changed the menu 3 or 4 times since the online menu was put up. I was pretty disappointed, and decided on the 50⁄50 burger and truffle oil fries instead. I usually drink when I go out, but nothing stood out to me even though it was happy hour. Our entrees came out quickly. My sister got a chicken sandwich, my mother got the tostadas, and my father and I got the 50⁄50 burger. The first thing I got when I tasted the burger was a hit of salt, and egg yolk all over my hands. Biting further into it, the salt dissipated and I enjoyed what was a very good burger– I’d give it an 8⁄10. My sister and mother both liked their entrees. The truffle oil fries were good but not remarkable and surprisingly cold. What my sister and I were most excited about was the bacon deep fried Twix dessert. At this point, we had a new waiter– a much more upbeat, friendly bearded fellow with dreads. I definitely preferred him to our other waitress, but she was nice too. My mom got some sort of cookie pudding which I tasted and LOVED. My sister and I were lukewarm about our deep fried bacon Twix dessert. I’m a HUGE fan of bacon, deep fried foods, and chocolate, so this was a no-brainer right? That’s what I thought, but my sister and I both felt that it was far too smoky. The ice cream that came with it was fine, but I would have preferred for the salt to have come from the bacon instead of salt on top. It was an incredibly creamy ice cream. My suggestion: let the salt come from the bacon and cut the smokiness. I’d come back, but I’m not dying to come back.

When I first got there it was very empty which I found strange since it was a Saturday night. It was my table and only one other couple who was eating at the time. Server was very nice, I had the 50⁄50 burger which had Angus beef and chorizo for the meat. It also had queso frito(fried cheese), a fried egg, and the BEST part MADUROS!!!(Fried plantains) Those MADUROS added an awesome sweetness which played off of the salty taste of the egg it was awesome. But it was pricey and it wasn’t a massive burger, in relations to the meat size. I am one to splurge on a good burger but I’m not sure if I would splurge often for this burger. It didn’t include fries, which was a bummer to me. But overall awesome burger just wish at least the fries would be included.

This place is amazing. We visited on New Year after the Heat vs Mavericks game. Decided to go because of the great reviews and I must say, it did not disappoint. Our waiter Patrick was great. He explained the menus and answered all of our questions(and suggestions). First we ordered the queso frito with maduros. DELICIOUS!!! Then we obviously ordered their famous 50⁄50 burger. I’ve had a couple of good burgers before, but this one was way over the top. It had beef and chorizo with queso frito, maduros and a very yummy spicy lime aioli. It also comes with a fried egg, although I’m not a fan of fried egg on food. You can order it as a regular burger or you can get 2 sliders. It was beautifully prepared. The flavors were great, as for the presentation. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. We got the spicy truffle matchstick fries for the side order. They give you a generous portion. I would use just a little bit less of truffle oil on them, but still, they were great. We also ordered de 160º Pulled Pork sliders. Also amazing. This one comes with the apple slaw, jalapeño, cheddar and a house bbq sauce. It’s kind of a refreshing burger, as weird as it may seem. Also well prepared with great flavors. Can’t complain. There are a lot of other great things on the menu that we weren’t able to order. But I’m pretty sure that we’ll go eat there when we visit Miami again. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!!!

Just had the 50⁄50 burger. It’s a winner! The combination of beef, chorizo, queso Frito and Maduro make this one of the most unique and tastiest burgers I’ve ever had. The fried egg on top makes it a bit messy but well worth it. Great lunch spot if your downtown.

I LOVE this place! I’ve been here so many times! Just went last night before the heat game. If you’re looking for a great bar and delicious food, this is it! The 50⁄50 burger and the maduros with queso frito is a must! The beer selection is always changing so I never drink the same thing!

Found out about this place through Groupon. Ended up buying the 3 sharable plates with 2 drinks deal. The place has its own parking space, but I could see it getting filled on busy nights. My suggestion would be to take public transportation as 180 is located right outside the metro mover. It’s not a huge location, but it offers outside seating and they have a lounge area with a large screen tv. The tv was hooked up to a Sega Genesis that patrons can play on. They also have board games like connect four and jenga that can be played with. Now for the food, I ended up getting the maduros with queso frito, fried chicken, fried ham/cheese sandwich and the twix desert. My favorite from the bunch is the maduros/queso frito combo. I definitely recommend it. My least favorite was the ham/cheese sandwich. Although it was my least favorite, it was still good. I just wouldn’t choose it over other items. Aside from the sharable plates, 180 has a huge selection of craft beers. The Groupon deal limits you to some draft beer choices or wine(or your choice of a nonalcoholic breverage). I actually recommend their passion fruit lemonade. It was strange and delicious. Service here was really good. I had two guys who would attend to the table so often and would describe menu items and give recommendations. It was a lovely experience all around and I already plan on going again in order to introduce friends to the place. I recommend people who love beer or love apps to definitely check it out. 5 stars.

I hadn’t been to the new location on 5th street(it’s a one way, in true downtown fashion) but now it’s so close to my job I decided to go after work having no idea they offer a happy hour. The draft beers are less than 5 bucks(so what if there are only like 5 options) the food options are less than 10 and the staff is as friendly as can be. PLUS, you can game upon request?!(Not board games, video games) I see myself becoming a regular in the new year. Actually, I was surprised not to see more MDC students there but then again, it was a Wednesday so maybe they are more responsible than I am.

Out in the downtown area with a friend and she says, «I’m dying to try DRB.» Oh how I love any excuse to try a new restaurant. Initially, we figured out there was limited parking behind the building. A security guard directed us to the correct area and off we went to enjoy a late lunch. Upon entering the restaurant, I thought how cool is this place. It had a very hip feel and the piped in music was fabulous. We were immediately greeted and given menus. There was an enormous list of beer varieties to choose from too. Lunch isn’t my favorite meal so I’m never too adventurous at this time. Regardless, I ordered a grilled cheese made with smoked gouda. Kind of cool that you get to choose from several varieties of cheese. Splurged on the truffle fries which were beyond yummy! Definitely can’t wait to return for dinner and dive into a very inviting menu!

I came here for a late weekend lunch and the place wasn’t busy at all. They have an impressive beer selection so definitely a good choice for late night drinks or happy hour. There’s a small lounge area with a TV and board games, as well as a sizable bar space. There’s also bench seating outside and their own private parking lot. Service erred on the slow side and felt a bit uncoordinated; they brought 2 of our fry servings and forgot the third until we reminded them. I wasn’t a super fan of the spicy truffle matchstick fries, the level of spice overpowered the truffle flavor; I would have preferred more truffle and less heat. I got the 50⁄50 burger, which I enjoyed and was super cute in presentation, especially with the little fried quail egg on top. I appreciated the touch of sweetness from the maduros. This was my first time having queso frito, not to mention queso frito in a burger, and I thought it was a nice complement to round out a Cuban/Spanish style burger. This was voted the best burger of 2015 in Miami New Times. My friends all agreed that while the burger wasn’t bad, we’ve definitely all had better tasting burgers. Also, food here is Miami-expensive and portions are small. Don’t come here if you’re expecting to get a traditional brunch fare, cocktails, or coffee.

Craved a good juicy burger, of course I was thinking Kush, but was famished and DRB was on the way of our amazing bike ride. Huge list of beers, divided by type = thanks, I hate to order a good sounding beer that ends up being an IPA. So, they’re famous for their 50⁄50 burger, we got it! But first: Pulled pork sliders: tasty, juicy, «bbq-y», served with the perfect slaw, I was impressed, but not as much as the 50⁄50. 50⁄50: delicious angus and chorizo concoction with fried cheese, sweet plantain and the perfectly fried egg! Holy moly, king of burgers, def a must try! Truffle fries were good, too much truffle oil but good nonetheless I’d skip the dessert next time. Had the bread pudding which was creatively presented as bread pudding«sticks», but it was a bit dry. Taste reminded me of Burger King French toast, not bad, but not amazing. Gotta come back for that burger though!

For sure I thought no one else could make burgers better than my favorite place(rhymes with Mush). These guys won best burger in Miami for 2015(and it’s on their menu) so this meeting had to happen soon. I had been here once before after Critical Mass to grab a few beers with friends, but didn’t try anything off their menu. It looked like typical bar food anyways. Well, my Unilocalies, a lot has changed since then! It was a quiet Saturday evening, a bit early for the rowdy crowd, and just the right time for a burger. There was one table available when we walked in, but since we also had our«service dog» with us we decided to sit on the couches in the corner just out of respect for other diners(the staff did ask if he was a service dog). We skipped over ordering drinks and went right«between the bread» for the 50⁄50 burger(hers) and the Angus burger(his) with a side of spicy truffle fries. Several minutes later we asked for recommendations on their selection of draft beer and/or bottle. The waitress gave us great choices that did not disappoint. My oatmeal stout(I think this is my go-to) tasted like chocolate – obsessed! Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the other beer, but it was on draft and it was fizzy, chilled, and oh so fresh for the summer. Okay, that should narrow it down for you! My, oh my! Fast forward about 20 minutes… Best burger! The 50⁄50(chorizo and Angus beef) burger has some serious skills! Could it be the queso frito? No, it’s a sweet plantain on top! Actually, it might be the fried egg with the sprinkled spicy red magic dust. You put it all together and what do you get? Amazing flavor bomb between two fluffy and heavenly buns. The Angus burger with smoked Gouda did not fall short in the running for best burger. It’s seasoned just right and served with baby greens and those pickled cucumbers(and don’t forget a sprinkling of the magic dust). And then because the night was young, we decided to SHARE the fried chicken sliders. I’m glad we didn’t miss out on trying these. I was starting to feel full(or attempting to leave room for dessert), but the sliders had such a distinct flavor from the burgers that it was well worth it. At this point, it would be a crime to skip out on dessert. We had enjoyed all the dishes so much that we just had to end the night right. It was a tough choice between the Twix dessert and liquid nitrogen ice cream. Our server convinced us to try the Twix and we are eternally grateful. It’s made with bacon chocolate ice cream, bacon caramel sauce, crushed frozen Twix(and deep fried Twix), bacon sugar, and lots of love! And lots of bacon! If it sounds like too much bacon(you suck) just get over it and try it. The ice cream is incredibly creamy and the toffee-like taste from the frozen Twix bar is the perfect addition. DRB, you got this one in the bag!

Five stars for filling a void in downtown Miami by delivering great eats in a cool atmosphere. PROTIP: There’s a parking lot in the back! That warrants a star alone. I first came for a special beer pairing dinner where the talent of Chef Ryan Martin was able to shine through inventive and sophisticated dishes paired with brews from Boulevard Brewing Company. I knew I needed to come back to experience the standard menu. I recently returned for dinner with some fellow Unilocalers and had a great time! We ordered everything at once but our waitress let us know it comes out as it’s ready. I thought that might cause some problems but it ended up being ok. Now, I think I could eat here a handful of times and still not try everything that stood out to me on the menu. This time around, we started with the maduros y queso frito, and added on candied bacon for $ 2. Think mozzarella sticks meets sweet plantains and, of course, everything is better with bacon. It was really unique and delicious. For my main dish, I ordered the pulled pork sliders. I was full after one but couldn’t help eating the second… It was that good! For dessert, we tried both Nutella mousse with fried bread pudding, and the Twix dessert — bacon chocolate ice cream, bacon caramel sauce, a tempura fried Twix bar and bacon sugar. This is super bacony(is that a word, I just made it one), but if you’re into that, order this! I think I liked the Nutella mousse a little bit more because, well, Nutella. Don’t come here expecting a wide selection of draft beer(they have a few from MIA Brewing), you’re here for the impressive bottle selection. They also have a few wine offerings, but no cocktails. It’s nice to experience a restaurant where the entire staff is excited about what they’re creating. That’s the vibe I get from the folks here. I hope it continues on for a very long time!

The guys behind 180 degrees are smart for sure. Yes the old DRB, with it’s dark allure, tight spaces, and beer-smelling atmosphere, witness of so many Miamians’, and Martians’ adventures, will be missed with some nostalgia. BUT, the new guys have brought their A game and we will soon remember the old DRB as a fun lover who would’ve never made us as happy as the new guy. Yes, the old DRB has been replaced by a bigger, lighter, probably livelier bar, catering to the new trends as far as eateries and bars go, sure to pull in the hipster, the bohemian, the bicycle club member and sometimes the UPtown crowds. But there’s no sin in that. After all, it is located next to MDC, aka The Unidiversity. You still have plenty of beer options to chose from regardless of your subcultural background. And the food is what the old DRB never could’ve pulled: FUN, like the food we all demand nowadays; and outrageously DELICIOUS. And I say these guys are smart because the above is, if you ask me, the perfect combination to please the masses while making good money too. Yes, truth be told it doesn’t feel as deliciously cheap as the old DRB. But expecting fun, finger-licking food in exchange for a cheap pocket is just not smart, nor fair to those who bring you a genuinely good experience. I won’t tell you about the amazing food and beer we had, and the cool vibes the staff delivered to every table. You must definitely go and try it yourself.
