Dr. Edmundo R. Tamayo is not a well respected doctor of the community as he states he is. I am a founder at Mt. Sinai Hospital and can tell you he is not.
I tried his clinic as a referral from a physician friend of mine and his and I was shocked at the wide open mal practice type of issues he leaves himself to. No medical supervision at all. You will not be able to speak or see this doctor or any doctor. At least I couldn’t and I was referred to him through one of his physician friends. I saw him once. The first time I was there. That was it. I kept going back because I was desperate and stupid… thinking each time would be different and I’d get a different result. That is the definition of insanity. And that is what one has to be to believe this place will help you with any weight loss goals you have.
My initial impression was that he was sleazy and he is. He is just a thief. A con artist preying on peoples desperation to find a short cut to the hard work of exercise and discipline of losing weight and staying in shape and healthy. There are no shortcuts and whatever he is promising isn’t an aide.
Nothing is tailored for you. It is a cookie cutter factory and the medicine isn’t real but you are paying real dollars for it. And wasting your time. And risking your health. Who knows what you are really putting in your body.
All they do is tell you to eat 4oz or 6oz of protein, no fruit, etc etc and dispense medicine that does nothing to help control your appetite or give you energy as they say it will.
The whole place is a fraud. And rude on top of it all.
I started losing weight when I stopped going to his clinic and just ate right and exercised. Even if I had lost a lot of weight from his clinic everything I have said is still true so this review isn’t based on whether I lost or didn’t lose weight there.
They only care about ringing up your charges and having you think their fake medicine is doing something for you and that you need to come back for more of it. You don’t need to!
STAY AWAY

I’m almost two months into my weight loss journey and i can honestly say I’m very happy with it. This weight loss system provides me with the structure i needed to lose the weight. So far i have lost 17 pounds (2 pounds more than my original goal). I always have energy to work out. i’m motivated. I never really feel bad or tired or like i am starving. You eat full meals, have snacks and its easy to follow. All the nurses at the center are super nice and caring. Any time i’ve had any questions or issues they have been there to help me. I have not really seen the doctor but i haven’t had to honestly. I’m young and have no health issues so it hasn’t really been something I’ve cared about. If you’re looking for a clinic that may help you in your journey to a new you i highly reccomend giving this clinic a try. What’s the worse that can happen? It’s not easy to start losing weight but once you see the pounds fall off you’ll be so happy you did it.

Dr Tamayo? In 3 month of treatment I never saw him, I even requested to do so and he is never there or busy, instead they send a cocky doctor with an attitude to the roof, did not answer my questions as I expected instead gave me the run around.
The lady’s /​young woman’s you get to see do their best what with they have but very limited on info, like someone mention before having issues with the pills, they don’t know much.
I think if you go to a dr to loose weight you need some kind of encouragement and at times different directions or modifications on the plan that is the same for everyone.
Yes you loose weight with the pills but I read that when you stop it bounce back and that is why I feel they need a plan after the plan.

i start these treatment last wednesday with those crazy pills that by the way they have terrible reviews i wish i had the name before i went there, so after i pay 160 dollars i get some studies done but what is kind of crazy is they gave u the pills despite or the result???
so 3 days after i have difficulties breathing, and more than an extra load of energy i am a rocket!!! even people ask me if i was ok…
the point is these doctor gave me his business card, doctor tamayo, and he say if anything happen call me to my cell!!!
i call today 4 days later to inform these bad reaction and it was not his cel it was the clinic phone number and then these very rude, person act that he does not care at all and say to go to the clinic, and she did not identify herself as anything, no name, no nothing and she say stop taking the medication and when u come next time u comment about these???
very disappointing that these pills are the same for everybody my friend get the same and other people i ask have the same exact pills!!!, what a scam, despite of different people y guess they just won a make money and care little about peoples life!!!
95% of the reviews on line they say that weight loose pill has very had results and yo-​yo every body except 4% are happy and most of them they still on these pill, phendimetrazine very bad very bad!!!
i don’t recommend these clinic, these doctor or these treatment is very dangerous for the health and u can even suffer terrible consequences like i did hard to breath, palpitations etc and the worst part is when i call no1 act like they really care very bad experiense very bad!!!

The B12 shot is the best. A lot of my coworkers have been pleasantly surprised with this place so I decided to try them. After my second visit and I was presently surprised of my energy level increase. Some of the med assistants are extremely new so if you find one you like try and stick with them.

I went here because I needed a more structured weight loss plan. The staff is here is incredibly nice, efficient and professional. They have just moved offices into a huge brand new urgent care center where the wait times have dramatically decreased. Dr. Tamayo is also very nice and helped me set a realistic weight loss goal and how to do it in a healthy realistic way. Now I am down 20lbs. and I feel fantastic.
I would also consider them if i was in need of urgent care because their office hours are amazing and they have the capacity to do all your labs on site. Definitely check them out.
