Top Burger

We went here after the beach just looking for a quick bite. It was around 11ish and we were looking for a five guys. Five Guys ended up being too far of a walk from where we were so we found this burger joint right in the middle of everything, which was great! My boyfriend is OBSESSED with five guys (he will eat it every day if I don’t stop him). He will not eat fries if they’re not from five guys. When we got there it was a cool, chill, atmosphere. Like any other fast food joint. We were surprised to see that the place offered kosher meats so that was a plus.
Long story short, this place to me beats five guys. Had similar cut and look to their fries but much better. They were EXKRA KRISPY, with a capital K. And the burger was so juicy and cooked perfectly.
My hotdog, was okay to be honest. That was the one thing that didn’t wow me about this place. Which isn’t a bad thing. Let’s just say that those guys know what they’re doing. And my boyfriend said this first.

Best burgers in south beach. The blue cheese burger was cooked to perfection. The parm fries were perfect. Definitely will be back.

In Miami, the second best place in the world to get a Cuban Sandwich and I find myself walking into a burger joint… and let me tell you it was well worth it.
Friendly service for the go, fast as well.
When they say fresh that is what they mean. I had a double bacon cheeseburger with onions and it simply malted in my mouth as I was eating it. The hand cut fries nice and hot with just the right amount of salt, so if you don’t want salt be sure and tell them.
Hands down the right move for lunch. If you find yourself in South Beach and wanting a good burger Top Burger is the place to be.
Oh I do have this, their napkin are a bit small so get a lot of them.

Came here to grab food at 11pm and the place had it’s employees cleaning up with their doors locked. The «OPEN» sign was still on but they didn’t bother looking at us when we tried the doors. Either change the timing online and on your doors or keep the doors open until listed.

So came in at around 10:00PM on a Sunday, mind you they close at 12:00am. Upon walking up to order the very unhappy cash register lady proceeds to answer my «hey how are you» with a «your order has to be to go ONLY, what can I get you (unenthusiastic face)»

That aside The décor of the place is cool. It’s retro sheik. It’s got booths and nice wooden tables. The menu has variety yet is short at the same time.
I ordered a cheese burger with some garlic herb Fries.
You get unlimited toppings but proceed with caution as I asked for Togo and luckily I always check my order prior to leaving the burger had barely any toppings so I asked for extra toppings and make sure to ask for extra condiments as they only give you one catch up their house sauce is delicious
This is a good place for some grub after a crazy night out in the town. Very casual dress down place. It’s location is great as your right on Washington AV that you can come here for food and then go else where for desert.
Overall I would come back but not like I’m dying to.

Their grilled chicken burger («sandwich») is one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. I don’t eat beef and love all things chicken, so I consider myself qualified to vouch for their chicken burgers. I tried both the crispy chicken and the grilled chicken and though the grilled much better (Harlem Shake in NYC makes the best crispy/​jerk chicken burger I’ve had so far in the states, but Top Burger in Miami makes the best grilled chicken burger I’ve had so far in the States). Also their chips («fries») are probably second only to Five Guys. At $ 6.53 incl tax for the grilled chicken, it’s great value for the basically build-​it-​yourself (from a long list of toppings) burger you get. I think I’ll end up eating here 3 times during my 3-​day stay!

Average at best; not bad, not great. Picked up food to go since we were staying nearby (mainly just to fill up so we don’t pass out from a night of drinking lol) so between 6 of us got a mix of fries and burgers.
Prices were decent, we got our food, nothing crazy special. Location convenient to the beach and main streets though!

This place is definitely somewhere I will frequent. Today being my first visit here, I was NOT disappointed. Started off with the all beef hot dog, then had «the beast» burger (10oz with all the toppings). I was hungry, and as you all know your boy can eat, but after that beast of a meal I was definitely satisfied. Like I said, I will be back!

Doesn’t know how to grill onions and it listed on menu. Gave me raw onions saying they are grilled and that’s how they come.

First time here and it was great. Very helpful staff and yummy burgers. Beer is always a bonus. Will come back when in the area for sure

The 10oz Grass Fed Blue Cheese Burger and Cheesy Cheese Fries were Amazing! The place was packed yet the service was on point. I definitely recommend this place over Burgerfi and Five Guys down the street! Try it out!

Good place to get a yummy burger and hand cut fries. We found this place a few blocks off the beach. I’m glad we stopped in. Service was attentive and quick. You order and they bring the food to your table. The ketchup machine was empty, but the cook was on top of it and brought some from the back directly to our table.

Cheap meal, free toppings, close to the beach and tastes fresh ?
This is your place. When you are on South Beach you have so many options. Keep this one in mind if one needs the aforementioned.

So worth the wait! Fresh burgers! Try the blue cheese burger! Add some grilled mushrooms and bacon! Friendly staff. New decoration and they offer delivery! This is my favorite spot!

Pack your patience on waiting. But the burgers are so juicy and worth is. The bread was fresh and sweet. Soo many toppings to pic or add. The fries were delicious.

CASHIER:
I purchased a
coupon to Top Burger that saved $ 10 off of a $ 20 or more order because, let’s face it, I’m a typical cheap ass Indian. Anyways, when we tried to use the coupon, the cashier said we could not redeem it. We were basically told that someone else tried using a similar coupon, but the owner was unaware of it. I already paid for the certificate weeks before my trip to Miami, so I politely asked the cashier if she could call the owner (which she did). She told him about the coupon and he said it was okay for us to redeem. No joke; this whole ordeal took almost ten minutes. THAT IS how cheap I am. After we ordered, she forgot to put the coupon in, and wasn’t able to give us the full discount. So, with our total being $ 40 or so, I gave in and allowed only a 20% discount, rather than the 25% I was supposed to receive ($ 10 off $ 20 or more order) I must say, though, the cashier was SUPER FRIENDLY throughout it all.
FOOD:
I ordered the Top Burger with mushrooms, almonds, mayonnaise, onions, etc. I also got the Top Burger sauce on the side, because I was scared to put it on the burger and not like it. The burger was good, but nothing spectacular. It was almost like a Five Guys burger.
The Top Burger sauce, on the other hand, was amazing! I ended up asking the cashier if they sold the Top Burger sauce. Unfortunately, they did not.
The fries were good, but nothing special either.
ENVIRONMENT:
The place is pretty big. I like the layout and the design, everything was super clean. The bathroom was nice as well.

Top Burger is one of those joints that I stumbled across based on proximity and proximity alone… The place is a bit rundown and the service was a bit spotty as well due to the fact that there was only one person working. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries and the burger itself was not half bad, somewhat similar to 5 guys in taste, ordering scheme and presentation. The fries on the other hand were terrible and extremely undercooked which was a bummer. Overall, the burger was good but the wait, cleanliness and fries subtracted 2 stars from this establishment.

I can’t say too many things about Top Burger, located in a nice spot in South Beach and a good place to grab a burger day or night.
Service is good, I enjoy a sass but not rudeness and the lady taking orders was exactly that, she joked with the group but didn’t go over the top with it.
Burger is good, not the greatest but they give you a quality patty that is cooked well. A variety of free toppings to make the burger unique to your taste.
End of the day worth a visit if you enjoy burgers and are generally running around the South Beach area.
