This is the best brunch/breakfast place you can go to on miami beach. The wait can get pretty long but I would definitely suggest sitting at the bar! The bartender was absolutely amazing. He was doing tricks in between servicing the 12 customers seated around the bar. He was super attentive and made awesome drinks! We ordered mimosas to go with our delicious brunch food. I got the Green Eggs which I would highly recommend to any egg lover. It comes with a delicious hash and toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered the Cajun scramble which was just as delicious too if you like andouille sausage! Anyways, if you’re looking for a filling, delicious breakfast, then go no further on ocean drive. Front Porch café needs to be your first stop. Remember, sit at the bar and you’ll have a zero wait time! Enjoy! :)

My boyfriend and I had breakfast here everyday while staying in Miami. The service is great, waiters are polite. They have an inside and outside setup for those who want to feel the breeze or the ac. If you go earlier in the am it’s less of a wait. The omelettes were delicious! The potatoes were well seasoned and the rye bread was also good.

The Front Porch Café is a trendy little crowded brunch spot right in the heart of south beach. This place gets pretty freaking crowded but is a bit overhyped in my opinion. Ordered the Benedict and a couple of cocktails. The Benedict itself was actually quite average and the potatoes we soft and unappealing. The brunch tasted ok, just wasn’t really anything to write home about. Pros– Great location Indoor/outdoor seating Large menu Relatively Inexpensive Great people watching Cons– Really crowded Slow service Long waits Average taste

All times favorite brunch spot! Food is great ! Service is fast. Only downside is that on weekend it gets very packed so you have to wait a while to be seated . Other than that its must go!

Had a great brunch here with the girls while on vacation in Miami. The ambiance made everything. It’s like a super modern front porch on the first level of a hotel. They had tons of outdoor tables, and some inside also. While we waited for our table, we chilled by their outdoor bar and relaxed on their sofas. The wait on a Sunday afternoon was about 15mins, then we opted to sit inside. The food was good but nothing really stood out. I enjoyed the Bellini martini and had the Cajun scramble with home fries. Service was good, sometimes slow, but overall not too bad. The place seems a bit touristy but it’s located on the quieter side of the strip so it was a nice break from the madness.

I went for the Cajun Scrambled eggs with toast & potatoes and it was amazing. In England our scrambled eggs are pretty boring, but these eggs had sausage, onion, scallions & peppers all up in there and Monterey Jack cheese binding it all together. It really was beautiful. Spicy too! The major down side however was how slow the service was. It was really busy when I arrived so I could understand that, but once my food was served the place emptied out pretty quickly but the servers were still really slow and inattentive. So much so that I’ve managed to finish this review while waiting for the check to be brought over. The group at table next to me asked to have their automatic service charge removed so the waiter gave them the famous Goodfellas speech which was a little awkward. To sum up, great food, not so great service.

This was a good place to stop for breakfast. The menu items were diverse if you wanted breakfast or lunch. The wait time was only about 15 minutes so not too bad. We were seated outdoors which is perfect for sightseeing on Ocean Blvd. We ordered the California omelettes which were good. It’s served with your choice of tomatoes or potatoes. I opted for the potatoes which were a little overly done, but not to the point of being inedible. Our server was good. Not overzealous but responsive when he came around. There prices were resonate with the exception of the added gratuity.

Be prepared to wait in line. We arrived around 10 am for brunch and the place was packed! I think it was over half an hour that we had to wait which we didn’t mind. They have the side where you can sit and wait as well as drinking at the bar if you want to get an early start. This place is located near the beach which was convenient for us to chillax afterwards. The menu was quite an extensive with almost everything you could possibly want on there. I was in the mood for something healthy so I went with oatmeal. At first, I was reluctant to order it just cause the price was a bit higher than I expected. But the portion was actually very large and I felt full and healthy afterwards! My friends ordered the taco entrée and salad which were also both large and good. The potatoes on the side of the taco entrée were seasoned well. We were all very full afterwards. We had this adorable little boy seated us at the beginning which made the experience more enjoyable. Come check out this place if you’re in the area!

The Front Porch Café has the best brunch on South Beach! Don’t waste your time with all of the places that line up Ocean Drive… walk pass them and head to FPC!

Great service great food. We had the porch burger and it was perfect. We also had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and it was a bit dry and I would have like a little more zing to it it was basically just a piece of fish on a baguette but it was deliciously seasoned and well prepared.

1. Food: a) Cajun Scramble: The andouille sausage was really good, and just a tad spicy. The side potatoes were really good, not sure what kind of spices were in it but it was a nice addition. 2. Décor: Great brunch restaurant in a really nice hotel. It was extremely close to our hotel, which was a plus 3. Price: Certain items were average priced. Others, such as the Benedict was extremely expensive. 3. Service: There was an hr wait! Over all the service was good.

We stopped in for brunch on a rainy morning. We weren’t expecting much, but were very happily surprised! We were seated right away(at about 9:45 on a Friday — by the time we left it was filling up a little more) on a comfortable porch. Service was quick and friendly. The pitcher of mimosas was reasonably priced and excellent. The food(a crab cake Benedict and a steak and egg skillet) were both fantastic and a perfect size for a brunch meal.

My husband & I had breakfast here in morning in April 2016 during a trip to Miami. The place was crowded when we arrived, but we were seated within minutes. We sat outside, which was great because the weather was gorgeous and the area is nice to look at. He had a cappuccino and I had regular coffee– both of which arrived quickly, and were served hot and fresh. I had huevos rancheros omelette and he had the rueben omelette. I don’t eat red meat so I didn’t try his, but he said it was good, but that preferred the huevos rancheros, which I have to say were prettying bangin’. Service was neither fast nor slow, but definitely courteous. Side note: It’s attached to a hotel, and when you walk through to the restrooms you are underneath a swimming pool with a glass bottom… Dangling legs above my caught me off guard, but it’s pretty cool :)

Ok so I have to say this place is ok. I’ve been here twice so I think I’m ready to write my review. 1st thing the food isnt all that great for the price. 2nd thing the service isnt good. 3rd thing the prices are to high for nothing. 4th thing the orange juice is good. 5th thing there is a place to store your luggage. 6th thing there is night out door seating. So, will I be back here? Ummm no not at all. This place is all hype

I started my day off excited to check out my brunch choice with the Hubbs. After running some errands, excursing around south beach(which we rarely do for being locals) and finding decent parking(16 street public garage in Collins) we strolled in and requested an outside table cause the weather was beautiful and the breeze was perfect. As we browsed through the menu we notice that we haven’t yet seen our waiter. In fact, the waiters are rather scarce after observation. There are tons of runners and bussers sprinting through the room which makes the waiters show up every blue moon. We were ready to give him everything once he showed up. This gentlemen(for whom he did not introduce himself) came and took our order. We chose the crab cake Benedict, chicken satay omelette and their side of corned beef hash with green chiles. We averaged our wait till the food finally came to be about 35 – 40 minutes. We were starving at this point and noticed that the table next to us that arrived 15 minutes after received their order before us. Now I’m not one to go off the deep end but when I’m hungry, annoyed and even worse disappointed cause I was expecting much better service. We asked the rather fast moving busser to please find our waiter to find out about our order. He returns to tell us that they are waiting on the crab cakes to finish. 5 minutes later the food arrives… to out amazement it was room temp. If we were waiting on the crab cakes, shouldn’t that dish at least be piping hot? Everything was pretty sub par. I did like my omlette however. Maybe it’s cause I didn’t care much at this point and would eat just about anything. Hubbs liked his crab cakes but like we both thought, it shouldn’t have been warm. The corned beef was extremely disappointing. It looked like it was the scrapings of the bottom of the pot. Very dry, almost burnt. We were lied to. The food was left out and ready for at least 10 – 15 minutes and the waiter slept on it. Simple as that. Be careful when you pay. They charge you automatic 17% gratuity so if you think it isn’t worth it you can dispute it. I gladly left it for the bussers, they certainly worked harder than the waiters. This location is more hype than quality. Our highlight was our south beach stroll.

Cute spot on Ocean Drive, we sat on the big front porch, hence the name. We came for breakfast and had to wait maybe 15 minutes for a table but it was worth it. They have freshly squeezed OJ that was yummy. There was a lot of good stuff on this menu but was boring that morning and ordered the ‘Front Porch Eggs Benedict’, which was obviously two eggs poached on an english muffin with canadian bacon and hollandaise Sauce and I got mine served with potatoes instead of the fruit. Everything was super yummy, potatoes included, I think I almost cleared my plate. I’d come back!

Came here with my close friends for Easter brunch. As expected, the wait was quite long for a group of 6. The hostess said 30 minutes but it took almost an hour to get a table. I noticed that party of 2 were seated quicker too. Luckily, this place had a covered patio waiting area and outdoor bar. We tried a couple of specialty drinks, Berry Basil Lemonade and Watermelon Martini. They were both well prepped. I watched our bartender as he took his time to slice, muddle, mix and garnish our drinks. Finally, the hostess called our name. The staff was nice enough to connect several tables to accommodate my group at the outdoor dining area… Yay! They also have indoor dining but outside has nice breeze from the beach. My group ordered: Beach Breakfast Burrito(Scrambled eggs w/Pepper Jack, Scallions, Mushrooms, Avocado, Refried Beans topped w/salsa), Western Omellete,(Virginia Ham, Onions, Peppers), Green Eggs(Scrambled eggs w/Pepper Jack Cheese homemade Pesto) and Porch Burger Deluxe(8 oz. Angus, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Sauteed Mushrooms). They all looked delicious especially the enormous burger. My friends said their meals were indeed satisfying. I just had to try the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. Cakes had real crab meat and poached eggs were cooked just right. It was tasty and not too salty. Overall, both food quality and service were excellent. Prices were also reasonable considering it’s in Sobe so I could see why this al fresco dining joint became a brunch staple.

I came here for the goodbye brunch of my friend and let’s just say this place tends to attract the crowds. Naturally I found this place here on Unilocal and suggested it as an option for us to try. We came and were treated to a 30 minute wait but considering it was a Friday and we were hungry I don’t think any of us had an issue with this. We began to dive into the menu and the selection here not only read good but looked good as we saw people being brought their food. Huge disclaimer on the menu which is not so huge in font is that you cannot split your bill here. This was a natural turn off for this location considering you know they can make it happen. Since the wait took a bit, we found empty seats at the bar and decided to sit there instead of waiting for a table. We were greeted at the bar but they were busy. After a while we ordered and I ordered one of their signature cocktails with blueberries, basil, and strawberries with vodka. The signature cocktail was a bit underwhelming mainly because there was too much fruit in it I felt as if I was cheated from a real drink. After I got over my weak umbrella drink, we ordered a feast. My friend ordered an omelet with spinach, mushrooms and other goodies. I ordered a half portion of French toast as well as the eggs Benedict. Everything was absolutely delicious here and I would not only come back but bring friends. Just hope my drink selection next time lives up to my expectations. Give this place a try if you’re on the beach.

Over-rated. Our table was dirty when we were seated. The green eggs aren’t anything special, and the French toast is good, but not memorable. The granola pancakes are hearty and dense. The scalloped potatoes are yummy, but the tomatoes are tasteless. The service is meh — our orders had slight mistakes. We didn’t get checked on after getting our food and I never got a drink refill until we were about to leave after already signing the check. I guess that’s what you get when there’s an 18% tip automatically added to the bill. Laid back atmosphere with outdoor seating. Great area in South Beach, but basically overpaying for average food.

Those pesto green eggs though. Seriously this dish inspired me to go home and make pesto from scratch. It was yummy and I really had a hard time deciding what to order, the massive menu was overwhelming. I also loved the ambiance of this café. It allows for people watching and it’s right near the beach. We went there in January and although it was chilly, we sat outdoors. I was trying to watch what I ate but next time I go back I would definitely go for something a bit more decadent or sweet.

Me and my girlfriend came here for breakfast in preparation for a long day of tours with short breaks for lunch. I really liked the view from the seating area overlooking the beach, you get to feel some nice breeze while eating your breakfast. I ordered the Beach Breakfast Deluxe, which included 3 eggs cooked in any style, fruit or potatoes or tomatoes, bacon/ham/sausage, orange juice and coffee. The food was pretty standard, nothing too special but definitely worth the price. The freshly squeeze orange juice was definitely better than the cartoon kinds. My girlfriend got the Front Porch Breakfast Pizza, which was absolutely delicious, as soon as I tried her pizza, I regretted my own order. The egg and prosciutto made the pizza awesome and extremely flavorful. The service was quick and attentive, will definitely return if I have the chance.
