Delightful! I’ve been here 3 times and every dish is a home run including the vegetarian dish«hen of the woods»! I’ve now brought 3 friends with me to spread the word and they’ve loved their experience. The ambiance is great. The pricing is comparable to south beach prices which is high but otherwise this place is amazing!

Staying at the W affords you many spur of the moment opportunities. They even have a WHATEVER/WHENEVER hotline that brags they’ll provide anything you wish. Luckily enough for us, the DUTCH just right downstairs was exactly what we hoped for. So, we were craving oysters. Not just any oysters but HAPPYHOUR oysters !!! And, from 630−730pm, you can grab a dozen oysters and a glass of veuve for HALFOFF! that’s correct, HALF!!! In a city of bottle service and velvet ropes, we managed to catch a break. A few glasses of bubbly and a couple dozen oysters later, our«discount high» had settled in and we headed back to our $ 500 a night hotel room to ponder our moment in the sun.

Casual atmosphere in fancy W. The Dutch offers a nice relaxing vibe in which to enjoy a delicious meal. The venue is low key and chill, not stuffy or upscale — no reason to dress up excessively. We started with the Yellowtail Crudo on watermelon wedges, just a perfectly delicious combination with the watermelon providing cool balance to the jalapeño slice. My Korean Fried Chicken sandwich was easily one of the more unique sandwiches I’ve ever had, and I made an absolutely mess with the sauce all over my mouth:). The burger was cooked to order and juicy. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a more low key vibe than what Mr Chow in the W Hotel has to offer. However, of course, it is still priced very high.

Not busy on a Wed night. Dinner for two. No one brought us water so we poured our own. Busser cleared away the dishes on the table since we were two at a four top, but didn’t pour water. No one acknowledged our presence for 6 minutes until I finally got the attention of a restaurant manager who was typing on his phone. Really would loved to have dinner with you, but how can we if you don’t wait on us? My date left so I had to follow, but seriously: You guys need to be more attentive. Not okay.

I saw this restaurant on VICE with Action Bronson«Fuck, That’s Delicious» and the food seemed fresh and vibrant on the show. I was heading down to Miami, so I wanted to check it out. First of all, you have to go through the W Hotel entrance which is sexy with all the beautiful people hanging out by the pool & bars. Parking is valet, so make sure you’re ready for that(Hint). The décor of the restaurant is rustic antique fun, dim lit, and is perfect for a date night ambiance or a night out with the crew big pimping style. Break out the linen and get crispy, cause when the spot closes, the W party people are outside, so after eating, it’s all about the Miami scene!!! The Food: Amazing. The oysters were fresh, the free bread was baked fresh to start out. It’s an American based menu, so they have a little bit of everything but with a twist. Please take note that the menu will have a section that says SECONDS, that’s your main dish and it’s large enough for 2 people. So be very careful when eating with your eyes. My mouth is watering while writing this.lol. The Spanish rice & beans with Chuletas was amazing. The Chicken that was also ordered was cooked to perfection. Take note that their menu changes with the season so I’m sure you’ll find something on the menu that wasn’t there as per this post. Something I saw on the show was not in season so that was my only disappointment. The Service: Top Notch. Our waiter was very attentive and they kept the liquids flowing. Friendly personalities all around and the supporting staff was equally on point. Over all this was well worth the amount of money I spent. I would suggest it to all my friends. I will be returning to taste more of the seafood plates that I saw as my eyes were larger than my stomach.hehe. Well done & my compliments to the Chef!!!

Amazing food !!! I could not breathe after leaving this place because I didn’t want to leave any food behind ! I recommend the pizzate with wild mushrooms and the yellowtail with spicy watermelon. The pizza was a very generous size as well. It’s def good for two people or three to share.

We came here with a small group for a chefs table event and got to try 5 courses. I also did a wine pairing. Ambiance– The W is a very nice hotel and decorated beautifully. This restaurant is no exception. Décor and ambiance were both great. Food– Overall, I really liked the food here. Bread they bring you with melted cheese on top was excellent. Kale salad was very good. Next I had a handmade ravioli with corn and crab and it was to die for. It was my favorite thing and a stand out dish. The only thing I did not like was the pork belly. It was 80% fat and very greasy. Skip this item. Wine– The sommelier here has excellent taste. I tried 5 different wines and they were all outstanding, my favorite was the Riesling. I LOVE that the serve the red wine cold here. Service– All of the staff was great and our waiters were very attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and delicious meal.

Very good restaurant located in the W hotel. We came here for breakfast. The restaurant is very close to the beach. We dined here on a Monday which was our last day in Miami. We wanted to have a very hearty breakfast before boarding. They had a Continental breakfast available or you could order from the menu. We decided to order from the menu. I ordered the whatever, whenever, my home girl decided to get the same. That came with your selection of bacon or sausage. The bacon was sooo delicious and cooked crispy just the way l like it. I paid a little extra for them to do a omelet with spinach and cheese and onions. Omg definitely worth the extra price. Everything was great right down to the potatoes and Multigrain toast. It also came with any selection of juice so l chose Mango. The expresso coffee was refillable so l had two cups. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us regularly. Whenever we finished an item she was right there. The Breakfast was about $ 28.00 and an additional fee for having the omelet. As l stated before it was so worth it. We didn’t have to wait long for the breakfast and everyone was so nice and if they were passing by and seen that something needed attention they were right on it. I definitely recommend this restaurant rather you’re staying in the hotel and even if you’re not.

Great dinner and great ending to a beautiful Saturday spent at Cabana at the the W Hotel. We were a table of 12 and they accommodated us on the patio. We started with ceviche and mini lobster rolls. Both were delicious starters. The ceviche was fresh and tasty. The mini lobster rolls were three bites of tasty lobster goodness. We had 2 Tomahawk Wagyu steaks that were boned-in rib-eyes that were food to a perfect medium and served with a salad and 4 donut sized onion rings. This was a well prepared American Kobe beef as I have anywhere. The Mahi(dolphin) special was a tasty pan fried filet set atop of creamy cheesy stone ground grits with a black bean and corn salsa and a tasty sauce to round out the dish. Can Can Pork Chop comprised of a double boned-in pork chop cooked to a perfect medium that made it so tender and over a can can tomato sauce with Rice and Lentils. Another dish at our table was the Steamed Snapper with a light sauce served with steamed clams and over quinoa, a beautiful light tasting dish. Although we didn’t have dessert or much liquor, they had a nice selection of both. We had drinks the night before and our bartender was great. Keep in mind this was a reasonable priced meal based on setting and location in a beautiful hotel in South Beach. Our waiter Benoit, was great in his recommendations and patient with our party. The supporting cast was always on top of clearing dishes and filling out water. So great we had a great evening to finish our awesome day pool and beach day.

Everything is way overpriced here, but the food tastes good. The granola with yogurt was fairly big and pretty good. All of the pizzas are New York style with thin crust, and the margherita one was my favorite.

Came here for dessert on Saturday. Had the chocolate soufflé and some ice cream. Shared it with two girls and it was just incredible. The staff is great and the service was wonderful. The only thing I hated was the 20% service charge for something that requires no service.

Dope spot! At the W Hotel which is one of my fav stops for Mr ChOws! The Dutch is tucked away from the hustle and bustle with a unique range of dinner and dessert offerings! We came strictly for the dessert and had the donuts with ice cream! Washed it down with a fresh cup of cappuccino! Customer service was great! Fast and simple! Surprising for a 4th of July weekend. Now I have another way to show off on the beach. Good find!

Great little place if you’re in South Beach, whether you’re staying at The W Hotel or not. It has a cool vibe and a calm but somewhat trendy atmosphere with long tables and lighting on the verge of normal to dim. Great to go with friends and try a bunch of different appetizers and dishes

This is a review for breakfast/brunch only, but you need to get here, and get here fast. I was fortunate enough to be staying at the W Hotel and had the breakfast included with my room(this is listed as Breakfast Table on the a la carte breakfast menu). The service was always impeccable(and I was here for 3 different breakfasts). The hostess greeted us at the entrance(located inside the W Hotel lobby) and offered us seating inside or out(at about 9am on weekends, there were still plenty of seats available for both). We always opted for the outside seating, which was shaded and not too hot. The servers were always attentive, offering coffee and juice from the beginning, and explaining how the«Breakfast Table» works: we were given a card to fill out for our omelette/egg choices, or if we wanted a waffle. Two of the three days, I went big, and got an omelette(probably a 3 eggs omelette) with lots of your selected ingredients, and cooked to perfection. The waffle was heaven: light, just crispy enough, and served with dusted powdered sugar(you had the option of adding berries or cream as well). The actual«Breakfast Table» was stocked! Fruits, charcuterie, cheeses, bagels, toast, croissants, oatmeal, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, sausages, desserts, and other goodies(too many to remember, to be honest). I went 2 – 3 items each visit, and the servers cleared plates each time, offered new silverware, and just made the start of the day that much better. If you’re staying at the W Hotel, I strongly recommend coming here at least once. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is ok but no more than that… Great service beside the girls at the entrance, very RUDE! I stayed 2 weeks at the W and they never ever smiled.: The menu is a bit limited and the buffet for breakfast is just miserable!!’ Service is great.
