Cool sports bar. Large space with lots of Tv’s. It’s seat yourself which is ok but when there’s a booth that fits 5 people with only 2 people sitting in it, it can be kind of annoying when you’re trying to sit your large group. Great place to catch a game. Update after the food service. Food was good but we had to ask several times for blue cheese(which never came), asked for water(never got it), asked for chicken nachos got regular nachos.

We had good meals but rice was not cooked all the way. I just got a wrap and gf ordered mahi mahi plate, a $ 20 plate! Then came the bill and 18% was charged and my girlfriend order only a water and was charged $ 3 extra… for water? I know the lease may be high for a prime location be for real a class of water. Should be able to afford one free glass of water on a $ 20 entrée’.

My family went here for the steelers game and the bartender was great and quick. I ordered a shepherds pie that was amazing! I will definitely go back.

Good olé Irish pub. Nothing that will wow you, but not a terrible spot to stop in for a drink or watch a game/fight.

The place to be for watching football! All the games were on the TVs so it’s perfect. Good selection of beer and nice atmosphere. Don’t expect great cuisine here though; it’s just average.

I’m embarrassed to say I went to an Irish pub on vacation(okay, I was in the US so it wasn’t really a vacation at all), but I didn’t have much of a choice as the skies opened and I was stuck in a massive Florida downpour. This was the first place I could take refuge and they had beer. Match made in heaven. I hate heavy Irish beers generally, especially when in Miami Beach, so I ordered off of their draft menu, which included a few craft beers. The bartender was a little rude, but once I moved to a table, the waitress, a really sweet girl from Serbia, was kind and attentive. I basically stayed in here for a few hours drinking prior to my flight and charging my dead phone. There was football on, so I was content and enjoyed my time there. I ordered French fries because I needed something before my flight and they were pretty lousy. I wouldn’t make a conscious effort to go back to this place, but if I needed Sunday football and some beer(not that cheap though!), this is the place. And I’d go back for just that.

My family and I came to watch the steelers game here and it was perfect! We were able to watch the other games as well and this is he perfect place to watch football games. The pub is really cool and the atmosphere was great. Our bartender was great and super conscious of my allergies. Plus I was able to get a cider on tap, which isn’t as common as I would like. My family loved the food and I had the most amazing shepherds pie. If you are looking for Irish food, I would recommend the shepherds pie for sure and it tasted very similar to the ones I had when I visited Ireland. Highly recommend this place.

Awesome spot to watch Soccer. It will be crowded for bigs games but for typical league play you do not need to arrive early. Prices are typical of Miami but the food is REALLY good. Whatever the chef has on special is always awesome and the soups are fantastic. Matt is a kick ass bartender as well.

Nice place to watch sports. They have great beer specials for games usually. It’s a place where locals hang out, not crowded like other places. Stay away from the nachos… The desserts are great. The finger food is meh… Didn’t try the regular menu, so I can’t tell if that is good.

My favorite bar in South Beach and best happy hour I can find!!! Staff is great, food is good and not too much more to ask for on a chill afternoon or evening.

Great bar & great service. My husband and I are from Los Angeles and were visiting Miami for a 5 days. We ended up at Playwright’s 3 nights in a row. Angela & her partner(can’t remember the other server’s name, older gentleman) made us feel right at home. My husband and I watched the Dodgers game there for few hours each night & the servers showed us a great time and took care of us. Great variety of beers & whiskey. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Miami. Highly recommended this bar.

For an Irish pub on the beach this is realistically the only spot. If you fancy north beach than you can go to Normans but that’s about it.

This is place is just an average sports bar with an Irish-ish décor. I went there with a good friend of mine because after a long day of work we were craving some cold beer and chicken wings. It was Memorial weekend and we were expecting a larger crowd but that was not the case, fine with me. The waitress was very nice, I must say this, always making sure we were fine. She mentioned that we just missed Happy Hour(of course, just my luck!) so instead we ordered 2 pitchers of Coors light, based on price and tap availability, but it was good! In fact perfect for this sticky weather. We also ordered some chicken wings, and I have to say these were just ok, just ok! and we wanted blue cheese to go with them and it was very runny and tasted like it was mixed with buttermilk or something like that, it wasn’t thick at all, but the celery and carrots were nice and crispy fresh, I never eat those but this time I did. The French fries were fresh cut, not frozen. Also we got our dinner and a «show» haha, we were eating our food and some guys showed up and started bothering some ladies sitting at the bar but this was quickly taken care of by security, it was very entertaining: P, perfect ending of my night. So all in all, I think I will give them another chance, but I would go only to have a couple of beers and some appetizers, that’s all.

It’s cute and it served its purpose. It was a group of us that were at the parade. We wanted alcoholic beverages and one of us knew of this place. So, we came here. What stood-out the most to me was their bar. It’s very nice, large and impressive. Yeah, if I’m close by in the future I’d come here again. The fact that the bartender and the waitress each knew about a drink that not even I have ever heard of was very impressive. That drink is the Singapore Spring.

I like visiting this place, which is off the main Ocean Drive strip by a couple of blocks. As such, it’s less touristy, and more local. I’ve been here three times in the last year or so. It’s a true Irish bar, right down to the soccer TV coverage. The food is always very tasty, and the beer is always cold. They have a good selection of beers, too. I love that I can get some of my favorite German beers in a bottle. And, yes, they pour a good Guinness as well. I try to visit this place when I’m in South Beach, and encourage you to do the same.

Typical restaurant and bar. We had a few beers here and some food. The beer was moderately priced with nothing crazy on tap The food was moderately priced and was surprisingly better than expected. Shepards pie(which 3 of us got) was actually quite tasty and not lava temperature which is good. Two person got burgers and said they were slightly overcooked but not bad. A cheesesteak that was a bit dry but good nonetheless. Fish and chips a little greasy but expected. Overall not a terrible decision but i think you could find better in the area
