Customer service here was amazing. Normally you will not find me on Lincoln Rd for the simple fact I do not want to deal with the tourist and the inflated restaurant prices in SoBe. However, I had one colleague who’s never been so I played tour guide. Nevertheless, the gentleman at Penguin was extremely helpful in finding my size and calling the Aventura store to hold certain items for me. I got much friendlier and better service from this location than Aventura, FL, and National Harbor, MD locations!

There’s always a sale! This is my go-to place when I need certain essentials. They have a great assortment of bathing suits that fit just right – not saggy, poopy shorts but ones that rise right above the knee. Their shirts are also snug, the way I like them. The layout of this store seems to be better than the one on Lincoln Road. It’s less cluttered and easier to find what you’re looking for.

I do enjoy buying clothes here for my partner in crime. But i wouldn’t buy clothes here for women, its not really my style. I do like some stuff for men here. And usually check out the displays when i pass by. The people working here are always nice and since i am usually buying presents here they always have boxes and will wrap it for me. Another good thing, is they always have some sort of discount, sometimes the whole store is on sale or they have half the store on sale, or if you spend a certain amount you get an additional discount etc. So i always ask. One thing i don’t like and its about the brand not the store, is i have noticed that for men the sizes don’t fit right sometimes. Sometimes bf thinks the small is a bit too small but then the medium is too big. its a bit strange, the t-shirts do seem to fit fine. Since the sizes can be a bit odd and inconsistent at times i would suggest at least for the men to try on before purchasing.

Excellent customer service and always great deals on one of my favorite brands. One of my favorite haunts on Lincoln Road. They’re also very dog friendly. Napoleon and I frequent this spot often.

It’s PENGUIN! Stylish and affordable wear that you can’t really find anywhere else. If you like a relaxed, preppy look with retro throwback feel, step in. Stylish polos abound! Belts, hats, swimwear, jackets and shoes too. Seersucker shorts will set you apart and set you free. Are you man enough to wear pink slacks? Awesome sales from time to time. Bianca is very sweet and pretty.

I’m sooooo happy to have the Penguin store in Miami Beach. Sales are great and the merch is unique and high quality. If I’m on Lincoln, then I can’t help but stop by and check out the goods.

Customer service has improved and I’m a sucker for their seer-sucker fedora. This summer Penguin is a perfect place to pick up a long-sleeve, button-down, or other preppy necessities for the men in your life or if just want to sport the bf style without needing the bf.

Came to this store w/my hubs on Sunday. They had a great sale going on: 30% everything, including stuff already discounted on the sales racks. We made out like bandits, and best of all — the service was GREAT! Not once did we feel pressured by Gerardo(the sales assistant that helped us out). He set aside the largest fitting room, I was able to sit down while Em tried on stuff, he took the bags I was carrying from other stores so they wouldn’t bother me, and was super patient when we were checking out while still looking at other stuff that we kept finding last minute. Another girl helped us before Gerardo took over the sale, and she was also very knowledgeable and helpful about the merchandise and explained the difference between Classic & Heritage fits, which helped when finding sizes. They almost lost a quarter of a star because the women’s section is practically nonexistent — but really on Lincoln Rd there are so many other fashion retailers for women that I am more likely to buy at, that when I walk into this store I am as happy as a bumble bee to shop for the man in my life instead of me.

The Original Penguin store is one of those I always have to check out when I’m strolling along Lincoln Road. Their clothes are classic«preppy,» so if that’s not your style, you probably shouldn’t bother with this place. I’m usually always the browser, never the buyer when it comes to this place, cause I often find that most of their good are over-priced. But, as luck would have it, on my last venture, they were having a 30%-off store-wide sale! And they had an abundance of cute dresses that were perfect for work! SCORE! Not to mention the free CD of hot new indie rock tunes at check-out! Keep up the great work Penguin! You just got yourself a loyal customer!

Dig this place. Don’t ask me how I got on their email list but I’ve been on it for years, never had I ordered anything as I’m a guy and prefer to see the things I put on my body(electronics and gadget are a whole other thing), so I was glad to hear that they opened a store on the beach. I’d forgotten the fact that they were in town until I was strolling along Lincoln Road and so I popped in. The selection is decent, the girls flirt so of course I tried on the stuff they pointed out, actually bought a couple of shirts and I’m so glad I did. Their stuff is made of the best materials and fits and feels awesome. Next to Banana Republic, I’ve gotta say that their stuff is really premo.

I love this preppy-nostalgic clothing store on Lincoln Rd. Penguin used to be a big name, back in the day, and has had a rebirth in popularity. The clothes are are for grown adults who like clothes with a lil’ quirk + creativity but still look professional and turned out, whether its casual or work. No Lindsay Lohans or Paris Hiltons wannabes to be seen here. Alas, only 4 stars cause frankly I can’t afford to spend $ 80 on a blouse, yet.
