Krispy Krunchy Chicken

This place in general is a great just chicken place. Has good biscuits and Mac and cheese. But this time I forgot to check for my biscuit and honey mustard and they forgot it :(. Just check the bag before you leave. Lost a star for forgetting it

The aroma of fried chicken directed me here. It instantly reminded me of Willie’s Chicken Shack in New Orleans. However, this is NOT a cajun/​creole restaurant. Their authenticity is far from credible, but I wont waste key strokes explaining why. Those who know, know.
I had a taste for chicken and they satisfied my craving. Flavor was okay, but they definitely aren’t using spices we use in Texas or Louisiana. By no means was it bland, it just didn’t hit the spot. Louisiana hot sauce could’ve saved, them but unfortunately they only offered a salty/​vinegary option. It was the worst hot sauce I’ve eaten in life.
Other than that, it’s a cool little hole in the wall spot for some fried chicken and beer. It’s a little sketch, but that just enhances the experience. I wouldn’t recommended them, but I’m not opposed to going back.

Lol. Well, we have to give them a star for being open at 1am when we checked into the hotel. And we also have to give them a star for… something else. But the pizza (barbecue chicken) was actually disgusting. Like terrible. And as long as it took, it wasn’t hot. We paid like $ 40 total and we were not satisfied. At all. But maybe our mistake was ordering pizza from Krispy Krunchy CHICKEN.

One day I was walking along Washington ave and my nose became entranced by this spicy fried chicken aroma, the smell stopped me in my tracks turned me around and lead me to a convenience store.
What I found inside the convenience store was Krispy Krunchy Chicken, a Cajun & Creole convenience store based quick service restaurant concept that actually has over 1800 retail locations in 36 states.
I was somewhat surprised at the sheer number of locations, but I was more surprised that I’d never heard of this place before.
There was no way I was just walking away from this place without trying the fried piece of heaven that was creating that irresistible aroma. So after standing in a line for a few minutes, ya there actually was a line, I bought a three piece with a side of potato wedgy’s and a biscuit.
OMG this chicken is delicious, each bite was juicy tender and richly spiced just the way I love it. The wedgy’s were crispy and the biscuit was a buttery fluffy treat.
The prices here are great especially for South Beach, this is a perfect take out spot for those who don’t feel like ravaging their debit cards.
They also deliver.
This place truly redefines the meaning of «hidden gem».

We had gotten the 8 piece variety chicken for like $ 12 and honestly there was no variety at all. The chicken was good the one tender he put in our box was a waste of time it was flavorless and I think it was a lil pink so we didn’t eat it. THEY DO NOT HAVE FRIES!!! The menu shows fries but the only have wedges.

One of my favorite places on south beach. The chicken is so tender and juicy. Also be sure to try their biscuits you might have to order a few extra. Place isn’t appealing to the eye but the food makes up for that.

Good late night/​early morning snack to soak up your liquor. Not Better than Popeyes as someone suggested but it does its job!

It’s simple, good fried chicken on demand. It’s not a stand alone restaurant like a Popeyes as its a chain that resides in a mini-​grocery store. Bottom line is the chicken is flavored good and inexpensive… Cheap good eats when your looking for chickens & biscuits on demand! A long line was coming out the door to get chicken the night we came through (after 1 am)

Rude people work here. Don’t waste your money. Placed an order 45 mins before they closed, half hour later I was informed I ordered too late. When asked them questions, their response was, «ok whatever» and hung up the phone. Spend your money elsewhere.

Super yummy & cheap! was looking for something fast & cheap to bring back to the hotel w. The girls & we looked up this place on Unilocal to see reviews & ratings since taz Angels brag about it on their snap chat all the time so we figured let’s check it out ! & it was delish deff try

How does this place not have more reviews? If u love fried chicken and I love fried chicken u have to stop in. Perfectly juicy, seasoned and krispy. Oh my goodness came here twice for my fix. Hole in the wall but when u serving up goodness who cares.

Unusual location to be sharing space with a convenience store. Beats pants off the franchise fried chicken joints. Slaw really overpowering. Next time i’ll be going for the spicy chicken!

I’d like to give this 10 stars! Such great chicken and mac-​n-​chz! The rice and potato wedges can’t laugh at either. Great peppery chicken we’ve ordered there twice in a week very flavorful and satisfying plus delivers!

Let it be known — fried chicken is my kryptonite! As I was walking back to my hotel after having JUST finished eating dinner, I saw a mound of fried chicken displayed in the store front window lookin’ all «krispy» and «krunchy»… how could I possibly resist?! Of course I had to stop in and get myself 2 pieces. Fried chicken for dessert #FTW! Don’t judge me. Even after being very full from dinner, it was still one of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and definitely lived up to its name. Best part of all — it was cheap, not overpriced like everywhere else in South Beach. Krispy Krunchy Chicken, I will be coming back for you.

Okay you can have better fried chicken some where else on the beach (not gonna say) but where else can you get amazing fried chicken in the middle of the night. This place perfectly fried in a delicious batter blended with tasty spices making you wonder why you haven’t stopped in before.
The place can’t be missed its right on Washington ave and has a big yellow chicken on the front door, lol
The chicken is on display and can be seen from outside drawing you inside. The name says it all just want you want in a piece of fried chicken to absorb all the booze you consumed on the beach late at night while making your way back home. lol
Expect limited seating as it is a convenience store as well. Although beside that and the fact you might have to wait in line and/​or seating. unless you take it to go but I sincerely recommend you eat it as fresh as possible.

I being working overnight in south beach for 5 years, and it’s very hard to find a good place to order good food «fresh»; not only that I can order delivery of colada with my food at any time, that’s a +++ plus
Mario and the other guy, always taken care of me and always have a smile for customers. I’m glad the open 24hs.

I have ordered from this place many times and it was great & the people were friendly. Today, total opposite. I ordered a Family Meal Deal (tenders, fries, & biscuits usually $ 14.99). The man who took my order said that for delivery, the tenders were $ 14.99, fries $ 3.50, and biscuits $ 3.50 PLUS a $ 5 delivery charge. That’s a total rip off! Bad form Krispy Krunchy — you just lost a customer!

The BEST fried chicken in South Beach. Yardbird $ 20 plate does not even compare or any other sit down restaurant. Each chicken order comes with warm honey biscuits and the mashed potatoes & gravy are spot on!

Just thinking about this place and mouth is already watering. The best fried chicken on the beach at a ridiculously low price. Great stop after a bar crawl on Washington avenue. If you like fried chicken and live on the beach and are on a tight budget then this place is a must try. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need a two-​piece and a biscuit. Mmmmmm… Biscuit…nom nom nom…

Overall: awesome fried chicken
This beats any generic fast food place on south beach. They have excellent fried chicken, Cajun style. They offer a variety of options for meals from two pieces up to a family pack. You also have options of white, dark, or mixed chicken pieces. Every meal comes with a biscuit and it is the only reason I did not give the rating a 5. Being a local I an so upset I didn’t learn about this place earlier :(hot sauce is great n chicken also.
