The atmosphere at FOGO envelops you with sophistication that you can relax into. You will want to linger for a bit. A must go!

I went with a friend from Brazil and he ordered for all of us. We drank the caipirinhas and they tasted exactly like the caipirinhas he made us in his apartment. All the meat was well cooked and moist. I especially enjoyed the pairing of the bread with the steak. We ate a delicious desert, a cake filled with dulce de leche. The service was excellent and attentive. I enjoyed the atmosphere of South Beach, but did not feel overwhelmed by people at the location.

Had an amazing experience. We have gone to some Brazilian steakhouses that haven’t been impressive but this one was. Service was superb, manager made sure we had everything we wanted. Even had them bring special trips back to get our favorites. May go back another night of our vacation. My favorite was the garlic sirloin, and bacon wrapped chicken and sirloin. There was even prime beef that they served. Way better than the Texas de Brazil experiences we have tried in the past. Night and day difference.

I have been to Fogo often. Never was disappointed. Service is outstanding, salad bar and all there meats are top quality. Its a little pricey but worth every cent. I suggest reservations on holidays and weekends. The atmosphere is great, dress up or go casual it’s ok. There lunch menus is a little less expensive but the same great food and service. Make sure your hungry, you may want to eat to much it’s so good. Don’t forget to try the beef ribs.

I organized a friend’s engagement celebration dinner party at Fogo and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The private event planner really went out of his way to make sure they could accommodate our group at last minute. Everyone had a lovely time and the food was so plentiful and delicious! I highly recommend this place for dinner and for any private parties.

4.5 /5 Salad Bar: Great cheese and cured meats, especially the bacon and smoked salmon. Good selection of vegetables as well. Black beans and rice were tasty. Sides: Garlic mashed potatoes and bananas were excellent, while the fried cornbread side was good. Meats: Both my girlfriend and I were really impressed with the picanha, the flank steak, the garlic pork, and the bacon wrapped chicken. The filet mignon and sirloin were also good, but had a bit of a smoked pork flavor. The lamb(both chops and shank) was too salty and were the lowlight of the experience. For me, it wasn’t a big deal, since I don’t care for lamb, but my girlfriend is a bit of a lamb fanatic and it affected her more. Service: Excellent and very attentive service. We received complementary cheesecake for our anniversary. Drinks: Drink portions are a good size and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. My girlfriend and I both ordered premium Caipirinhas, and we’re very pleased. Afterwards, I ordered a Manaus Mule, their take on a Moscow Mule, which was unique and also pretty tasty. Dessert: Fantastic New York style cheesecake, with a raspberry sauce. Excellent way to finish off dinner.

Miami Beach has both of my favorite Brazilian steakhouses: Fogo de Chao(8361st St, Miami Beach, FL33139) and Texas de Brazil(300 Alton Road, Suite 200, Miami Beach, FL33139). If you have never been to one, it serves unlimited amounts of quality meats, mostly red meats. It has a red and green card system. Green signals the server to come over to your table to cut you a piece of meat right off the skewer. Red means stop because you are full or need a break. I usually give Fogo de Chao an edge over Texas de Brazil. They are both excellent. The Fogo de Chao in Miami Beach is the high quality you expect from Fogo de Chao. Really the best Brazilian in the states. This goes for any of the ones I have visited. Expect a lavish salad bar and about 12 meats that are cut table side.

Can’t say anymore than great things about Foco de chao. It’s by far the best Brazilian steak house I’ve ever been too and the consistency among different restaurants in different locations makes you come back over and over. The Miami location was no exception to the norm. The customer service by all staffers was exactly what my group needed to feel right at home. Every cut of meat was fresh, seasoned, and well prepared. Unlike other Brazilian steakhouses I didn’t have to ask for certain items as the meats came out so often that my plate stayed full the entire night. I will say that the Miami Foco de chao does offer one unique item that is not found at different locations but was certainly worth the try… I reveal to you the chicken hearts lol doesn’t sound like much but they do pack a bunch when it comes to flavor and uniqueness. Upon leaving the restaurant, one of the members in my group left his credit card behind, we were about 4 blocks away when we heard one of our servers yelling stop… to the management at Foco de chao, staff member Felipe is certainly one of the reasons for the high marks… keep up the good work

I love their salad bar! I like the fact that you can request your meat how you like it, «well done, medium» etc. One problem I do have is that the meat is too salty but I guess they want you get full quicker with the much added salt. Variety is great but I think it’s probably too expensive.

What an amazing meal tonight. It could not be better. The service at this location is the best. Not a second went by where someone was catering to my wife and I. I have always been a fan of Texas de Brazil, but tonight my loyalty has gone to Fogo de Chao in South Beach. The quality of the meat is amazing. The salad bar is not huge compared to what you get at Texas de Brazil, but for what they serve they make up in top quality products. They are always catering to your needs here. The items that come with the meal including the bread, polenta, mashed potatoes, and bananas really top it all off perfectly. Our server named Tudor was really great. He was so friendly and took such good care of us. When I come back we are definitely asking for him.

I absolutely love steak! The fact that I can come to one place and eat a variety of cuts already has me won over. However, when each piece has its own particular flavor and is seasoned to perfection, the experience is that much more spectacular! I only have good things to say about Fogo, but will limit my comment to raving about my favorite dish, which includes white rice topped with farofa, a side of caramelized plantains and picanha — lots and lots of picanha. It has to be the most flavorful cut of meat to me. Can’t wait to return to Fogo!

OMG Yum! This is Seriously the Best Churrasceria! You really have to come with an empty stomach though. I felt like I shouldn’t of eaten for three days before coming here. The food is just AMAZING and there is no better Service Around! I have no idea how I managed to make room for dessert(I recommend the hot chocolate molten lava cake btw).

I have been to almost all Brazilian steakhouses and I have to say that one of my favorites is Fogo de Chao, the meat selection is amazing, the service and quality of the food is outstanding! The cheese bread was delicious as well as the caramelized bananas. I did not have time to order dessert but the choices looked amazing! Definitely will go back for that!

Best Brazilian Steak house in Miami. Quality food and great service. In accordance with South Beach tradition it is not cheap however definitely one of the few places worth the price of admission. Buffet style with exceptional service and tons of variety. You won’t be disappointed. The ambiance is fantastic. A destination location in South Beach.

My husband and I love Fogo de Chao! My husband is Brazilian and this is his favorite place to eat. The variety of meat is great, and they always keep it coming quickly. If it’s busy, the wait for the valet can be a little while… The food and service rocks though.

This place is amazing! My family came here for Christmas Eve dinner and it was the perfect place to come. The atmosphere was great and we were there for 2 hours. Service was really good too. The food was amazing. There was constantly little dishes on our table, including caramelized bananas, mash potatoes, and cheese bread. Each were amazing! It was hard to control myself eating these side dishes. The main course, the various meats, absolutely amazing. I continuously ate the sirloin but my family tried everything including lamb chops, ribs, chicken, sausage and more. The all raved about what they had. This dinner was definitely the best I’ve had in awhile. For dinner we split a tiramisu that was divine and a nice warm cappaccino. It was the perfect end the perfect dinner. The manager even let us see the kitchen. Highly recommend this place, especially for special events. I will definitely be visit fogo de chao in the future.

Well, I’m given this place the top star because, first of all, they have my favorite, chicken hearts, it’s damn difficult to have. And second because they are very simpatico with people. I bring my family here today, for their first experience in a barbecue house in America, they were very nice because non of them speak English or Spanish, so thanks for the Amazing team. And finally the TREELEITHECAKE!!! U LALA!!! Perfect! One of the best places in Miami beach… I can tell!

This continues to be the ultimate steak place for those who mean business! I have tried Fogo do Chao in Sau Paulo, in Atlanta and now in Miami. It is a feast of great tasting steaks. I still believe that Fogo de Chao in Brazil was a cut above the ones I have tried in the US but I can’t just help give it 5 stars because it probably can’t get better if you want to eat meat!

I came here for a bachelorette party during Miami Spice, and the menu was very similar to what they offer regularly. First of all, this place is HUGE! It was perfect for our party of ten but had so many tables that no one felt crowded. At the same time, it isn’t large in the way many Hibachi places are where it’s awkward if you’re in a smaller group. The service is great and having never been to a steak house like this, I was impressed. They come around with different styles of meat, in both various seasonings and toppings, like bacon for example. Who can resist bacon wrapped anything? Not me, that’s for sure. They offered more cuts of meat than I’ve ever seen in one place and each was cooked in a unique way. If you wanted a more well done piece, they had it on one side of the meat, and a rare piece was somewhere else on the same slab. It’s essentially an all you can MEAT meal. My cousin ordered a fish dinner instead and thought it was very fresh, so there are other options. The Miami Spice dish offered a few less options than the regular menu but it was also $ 10 less. It’s not like you were missing out either, you still had over eight types of meat to choose from on the Spice menu. That being said, it’s a great value even if you go during the regular season. This restaurant is set up for people to have options and they fulfill that promise with a bar of cold appetizers. These range from salads, to cheese, marinated cold vegetables, potatoes, to different breads and more. It was a delicious way to make the meal unique to your interests, and provide enough variety for a large group. We had a great time, everyone enjoyed the meal, and it was a lot of fun. Plus, they’re open late!

I typically get into trouble when I go to places like this. Unlimited salad bars and meat buffets typically aren’t my thing(I eat too much), but once in awhile I think it’s a fun thing to do. Salad bar is great here. Meat selection is also pretty good. Minus a star for dropping select cuts of meat during Miami Spice.

I have been going to this place for years, and went back recently. I never thought I could be disappointed here, but I guess I lived long enough! They offer a Miami Spice Menu, which only happens once a year. These cheapskates offer a limited selection of their meat cuts and take $ 9 off their regular price menu. We opted for the full price menu. We were supposed to be offered several cuts of meats at the full price. We were not offered or brought several cuts until we complained; which we rarely do. You wouldn’t expect to complain in a restaurant of this caliber! VERYDISSPOINTING! Instead of taking advantage of Miami Spice to showcase their restaurant to their guests, they bait and switch them instead. Just terrible. This is what happens when a restaurant is part of a corporate establishment. There is no individual accountability, so compliance becomes someone else’s responsibility!

Great option for Miami Spice. Fogo de Chão is an upscale Brazilian steakhouse rodizio style what means that someone will bring to your table and you can eat as much as you want of juice gourmet meats, and during the Miami Spice months, for a fixed price of $ 39 per person. But it is not only about meat. The salads are great and they also have cheeses, hot dishes and a choice of rices and sides. The cheese bread is a special delicacy for Brazilians(‘pao de queijo). The fried polenta, the fried banana, the all Brazilian farofa… all are brought to your table. Try the black beans…

It’s been a while since I went to an all-you-can-eat meat place. The last one I went to was Texas de Brazil and their cuts of meat were memorable. Their top sirloin, churrasco, and their lamb were all amazing. When I walked out of this place the only memorable item was the pao de queijo(cheese bread). I came here with a group of friends for Miami Spice. Although the meat options weren’t all available for the Miami Spice menu, I thought the options would be good. Didn’t really have a favorite cut of meat. I found myself declining a few after a while. Nothing really stood out, not even the lamb. The self serve station didn’t have much variety either. A few vegetables, potato, salads, some cuts of deli meat, it left you wanting some more. I felt like this place was going to offer something totally different but it felt about the same if not less than Texas de Brazil.

Quick summary: Bread: Pão de queijo is made from scratch here and is delicious Drinks: Caipirinha was delicious. Lemony and sweet Meats: +Leg of lamb, picanha, linguiça sausage, flank steak, and beef ribs were fabulous. –Top sirloin, filet mignon(juicy), chicken hearts(similar in taste to a good piece of liver), lamb chops(overcooked), and pork ribs were just ok. Salad Bar: Chicken salad was great Desserts: Mousse cake was the best of the three(papaya cream and the cheesecake being the other two)

Amazing food, Viva Brazil! 1. Go hungry, you will eat a lot! 2. Prepare all day for this meal, They make dinner into an event. 3. Don’t fill up on the salad bar, it is amazing … but the meat is what you came for. 4. Be prepared for some of the best service you will ever get at a restaurant, teamwork at its best. 5. They redefine the tenderness of sirloin, how they can get it that tender is beyond me. Not many places can do that. You will get ribeye and filet cuts to compare. 6. Pace yourself, you will be getting a rapid fire pace of delicious food thrown at you, go red if needed. 7. Its worth the money, don’t let the price get you scared… ENJOY!!! If you’re in the mood to be a little fancy but don’t wanna pay a hefty price to try a bunch of succulent dishes, this is the place for you! Food and service are on point, no complaints what so ever, and there little warm and gooey cheese bread that they bring out is THEBOMB!(Wow I just got so excited thinking bout it I nearly shed a tear) They have a variety of meats that are almost rushed out of the kitchen at your beck and call. The filet mignon, lamb, pork, chicken etc etc all deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection(you can ask for the meat the way you like it) My tip: Go during the week for«lunch» call ahead to check the times, its nearly half off with the full menu. DOIT! GO!

I was not impressed, service was friendly but made us feel rushed, and for the price I didn’t find the meat quality or the salad options to be up to par. The restaurant is beautiful, but the salad bar was definitely lacking variety and quality. I had much higher expectations. Fogo de Chão is your typical Brazilian Steakhouse, an all you can eat steak and salad bar where servers bring skewers of different meat varieties to your table and the meat is sliced to order(rare medium rare, medium) at your plate, you have a chip that is red on one side and green on the other which mean Red = no more food, Green = yes please keep the skewers coming. Well, we found most of the cuts to be average, some were dried or overcooked, and cuts like FILET or BEEFANCHO(Ribeye) were barely seen, the chicken and sausages kept on making an appearance, the top sirloin was pretty descent. Also, the sides that are served at the table like the garlic mashed potatoes were way below average, they were runny and not very appetizing, and we had to ask for the cheese bread which again was just ok. On top of the meat disappointment we found the salad bar to be very basic, it didn’t offer many options and was very boring. For $ 50/per person there are many other better Brazilian Steakhouses in South Florida.

Für Fleischliebhaber ein muss. Besser ist’s auch in Argentinischen od. Brasilianischen Churrasceria nicht. Ebenfalls sehr gut, das Buffet mit Salaten, richtigem Parmesan, Salami und Rohschinken. In Miami Beach empfiehlt es sich, das Valletparking zu benutzen, da Parkplätze abends Mangelware sind.

Le salade bar est pas mal. Un peu juste mais de bonne qualité. Sinon la viande est divine! Il est nécessaire de venir le ventre vide pour gouter toutes les différentes viandes(servie à volonté pour ceux qui né le savent pas). Sinon les viandes sont cuitent avec du gros sel donc cela peux paraitre très salé pour certains. Le cadre est business chique et agréable.

Wenn man schon in eine Restaurant Kette Essen geht, dann ist das«Fogo de Chau» eines der Top Adressen. Hier gibt es verschiedene Sorten Fleisch am Spieß bis zum abwinken. Was einem bei dem leckeren Fleisch dazu verleitet, auf Beilagen weitgehend zu verzichten. Was aber nicht heißen soll, dass diese nicht auch ausgesprochen lecker sind. Wer sich also mal richtig satt essen will und den Preis von über US$ 50, — nicht scheut, ist hier genau richtig.

Dieses brasilianische Steakhouse«Fogo de Chão» in Miami Beach gehört zur gleichnamigen brasilianischen Kette Churrascarias, die über den amirikanischen Kontinent verbreitet ist. Auch hier genossen wir wieder das typische Rodizio, bei dem die Kellner(«Gaucho Chefs») mit ihren Fleischspießen so lange an den Tisch kommen, bis man abwinkt. Der Vorteil hierbei ist, dass das Fleisch immer auf den Punkt gegrillt ist und man sehr viele verschiedene Fleischsorten probieren kann. Es werden ca. 15 verschiedene Arten«Cuts» angeboten. Leider gab es auch in Miami kein Cupim(Buckel des südamerikanischen Zebu-Rindes), da die Rinder auch hier aus Texas kommen. Meine Favoriten, Picanhã(Top Sirloin) und Filet Mignon. Ich denke es wird schon deutlich, dass das Fleisch hierbei absolut im Vordergrund steht. Natürlich gibt es zum Essen auch verschiedene Beilagen, z.B. Kartoffelbrei, Polenta oder gebratene Banane(total lecker — unbedingt probieren). Darüber hinaus gibt es ein reichhaltiges Buffet mit sehr vielen verschiedenen Beilagen. Neben einer großen Weinkarte werden auch Cocktails aller Art angeboten. Selbstverständlich gibt es hier auch die Caipirinha. Der Preisrahmen ist identisch mit den anderen Häusern in den USA. Essen ca. 50US$. Wein bzw. Getränke kommen extra.
