The service here is horrendously slow. Would advise against eating here particularly with large groups.

Randomly stumbled across this place since it was near our hotel and had a table available for a party of 5. The red sangria is probably the best I’ve had(on the sweeter side). Rice bowls were so filling and yummy! I had the curry chicken rice bowl and it was spicy but oh so good! I also tried the fried chicken«sushi» roll and it was quite tasty! I’m not a fan of sushi and usually order a California roll at sushi places so it was nice to have another I option. We sat indoors since it was a chilly and windy night. There was still a nice vibe inside and you could clearly hear the live music that was playing outside. Our waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu.

Randomly found this place across from our hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised. The red sangria was addictive(it was sweet, but sooo good). The food was great. I had the shrimp pad thai and it had the perfect kick to it(for me). We also has sushi, ramen and the steak sandwich. Everything was great. The outside patio was cool, the inside — not so much.

Good ambience and décor. Service was a little slow but our server Maria more than made up for it. The food is tasty! We had the salmon tacos, salmon crunchy roll, and the pollo fiesta roll. Talk about an explosion of flavor in your mouth! I would definitely recommend this place if you don’t mind the wait.

Very touristy place. The waitress was very friendly and, of course, interested in having a good review on Unilocal. We got the free mimosa with our check in, so if you ha the chance, do it. The cocktails were expensive, as you could expect in Miami(on the very central street), but well done. Be careful for the tip because they always include a 18% gratuity for the service, so your optional tip would be an addition. The sushi and the spicy chicken were ok, nothing special but well presented; portions are ok too. A nice place to suggest if you want jus my eat in the center of Miami Beach.

I really wanted to enjoy the food. The atmosphere was all decked out for the holidays –it was so impressive and quietly romantic. Sat outdoors on a cool Miami night. Perfect. The gluten free order was not gluten free so it went uneaten. The miso soup was absolutely fabulous with mushrooms afloat. While the oriental kale Cesar salad sounded like an amazing delight I sent it back only for it to arrive tasting worse than the first time. We had to asked for spicy mayo several times. Once it started to rain(no fault of the restaurant) we surrendered and I left hungry.

As a California native, I’ve been exposed to some awesome sushi. That said, I’m very discriminating when it comes to my sushi. While this wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, it’s probably the best I’ve had in southern Florida. Food wise, I’d give them a 4 star rating, but the awesome service jumped them up to a 5 in my book. Friendliest staff I’ve encountered in a long time. Had such a blast we went there two nights in a row. Went about an hour before closing on Saturday night, the manager recognized us from Friday and made sure we were taken care of. I’ll be coming back here often.

I loved this place. The food was great, but it was the outside atmosphere that won me over. We happened to stay across the street and stumbled into this place because it was so close. We sat on the couches out front which gave us a perfect view of the beautiful south beach night life, good people watching, and Lamborghinis and Ferraris driving by. They had heaters lit by the tables and even though it wasn’t freezing, it was still nice. Our waiter was great. We ordered rock shrimp which was the best rock shrimp I ever had. I totally recommend it! Great sushi, cold Heineken, and south beach vibes add up to 5 stars!

The place was chosen because it was beside the hotel we are staying at. The food was good, but not worth the price. I paid $ 20 for Pad this with shrimp, and there were only dolor shrimp in the bowl. The dumpling appetizers were really good. The wait staff was less then friendly or helpful. We saw the waitress walking by, and if she did happen to stop she acted like we were beneath her. She came by multiple times, and never refilled my water. We sat inside, but the service outside looked like it may have been better. Update: The poor waitress added in 18% gratuity to our bills. I’m generally a generous tipper, but it was good for her that she did that because she would not have received that much from me.

Came here Sunday night with my boyfriend for a quick bite to eat. Our waitress messed up our order twice. First the drinks then a food order. Service was very slow. There were tons of staff around but doesn’t seem like they were doing much except standing in the corner. We ordered the Tsunami roll, crazy spider roll, and lobster Roll(special they had for art basal) but they somehow gave us shrimp roll instead of the lobster. So three rolls took a nice 35 minutes to come out. The rolls were delicious but we didn’t end up eating the shrimp roll, we didn’t order that. Great location though. Great for people watching and relaxing.

Maybe we’re from New York City but this is the worst Japanese fusion we had. The ramen tastes like laksa, they probably use instant noodles pack. Maybe other reviewers enjoyed their entertainment settings, but the food is tasteless and expensive! My friend ordered a $ 8 salad for a bunch of cheap lettuce and 3 pieces of avocado. If you’re from New York, please avoid this place!!! Please go to the diner. The service is only average, hence the one star.

The menu and prices were extremely reasonable. The manager Dimitri was very hospitable and great to talk to. We will definitely come back here when we are in Miami

We went upstairs to the rooftop bar of this place. Literally everyone was urging us to eat downstairs, and I see why! This food was freaking awesome!!! There was NO one in here, everyone was seated outside, which was fine by me. I ordered a rice bowl with salmon. I replaced the regular white rice with coconut rice. BESTDECISION I’ve made in a while. The light spiciness of the salmon and the sauce that came with it, and the sweetness of the rice… perfection! it filled me up and I was very satisfied. I want to say i’m going to return here on every one of my trips! it wasn’t super expensive either. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area!

Always come here for my late night sushi fix. Best sushi chef HANDSDOWN Chef Ryan is truly amazing at his craft. He makes me excited to have sushi. He has been the only sushi chef to get me to experience other sushi then just California rolls I usually get. I’m now a fan of BarBeQued Eel and fresh salmon. Yay!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening with a group of gorgeous gals for a bachelorette party kickoff. We had a rather large reservation split into two tables. However, we asked if we could combine the party into one, and a couple servers brought out extra tables for us(the second table was a high top, so we had wanted everyone to be at a regular table). I had soft shell crab sliders which were delicious. Several others in the party ordered various sushi rolls, noodle bowls, appetizers, and pitchers of margaritas and mojitos. It would have been nice for the food to come out at the same time. My sliders came out first, and were cold by the time I ate them as I waited for others to get their food. However, we had a rather large party so that may have been difficult. The general manager, Gaby, was amazing and kept checking on us to make sure we were ok. Our server made sure our water glasses were full and that everyone was smiling… I think his name was Mitenell but I’m not sure. Someone whose name escapes me at the moment also brought us a round of free shots at the close of the evening. I’m not sure what it was, but it was green, crisp, and sweet, and it was delicious! The music was good and the dancers were smokin’, though their routines were less choreographed than other samba dancers I’ve seen. Overall, it was a great place for dinner. The place isn’t cheap, but it’s not unbearably expensive either. After all, it’s not just about food; you pay for the location, the atmosphere, and the experience.

Stopped in for a late dinner a week or so ago and would absolutely return. Food was good, music was great and our table outside was exceptional. Loved the dancers and the commotion although if I was a guest in the hotel, I might not be all that happy. I have come to realize that South Beach dining can often be more about ambiance than food. Sitting outside on a warm night, several feet from the commotion which is Collins Ave can be invigorating. I had a small saki and a few rolls. Both were quite good. The French girls at the table next to us had this drink appropriately called«The Fish Tank», most likely because it was served in a fish tank. it came with 5 straws but it could have easily served a few more people; actually a lot more people. Cool idea, cool crowd, cool place. See you again in November!
