Such a cool little rowhouse-turned-museum! Three floors of local artwork, at least sometimes accompanied by poetry. The couple times I’ve been through, they’ve been featuring two or three artists, with collections hung throughout rooms, hallways and stairways. There’s studio space upstairs, so maybe if you’re there at the right time you’ll see some artists in action. There’s a great balcony upstairs that looks out over Espanola Way, fun at night with all the strings of lights and live music. If you’re in the area grabbing a bite, this little spot is definitely a worth exploring.

located in the heart of espanola way, right on top of havana 1957. bunch of local artists studios(like steven gagnon on the third floor ) most of them open to the public and always free of charge. definitely take a look around if youre into the arts. its a great break from the crazyness of south beach.

–Great little space Nice 3 story property with awesome art on display. There’s no one there and you are free to roam all 3 floors. The second floor has a beautiful balcony overlooking Espanola Way. –It’s FREE –there’s great art to appreaciate What else can you want?

Who knew this gem of a gallery existed! If you are on Espanola at night, I highly recommend checking out the local artists and peering over the balcony at the street. This is great way to show a blind date you support the arts and know where to find funky art galleries.

While on Espanola Way, I chanced upon this small art gallery. To me, it was like going to someone’s apartment building and looking at paintings and other artwork displayed along the walls. They claim to have three floors of art but really, only the second floor was interesting. Some of the work is from Mark Rutkowski who has painted a lot of the old Art Deco hotels. They were prominently displayed near his studio. I’m not sure if he lives there(or the other artists with studios in the building) but during day time hours, you might be able to speak with him. In the evening, he has a clipboard outside of his suite, #207 for you to leave comments. There were signs not to take pictures of the artwork. I did like walking out on the balcony on the second floor as well and getting a good view of the street.
