Had an amazing veggie burger here as well as the Stephen’s vegan wrap. Fantastic. Wish we had this place back home.

Rabbit heaven! Bunnies will delight in crunchy kale lightly dressed with fresh caesar, breezy homemade chicken salad and thick sweet potatoes. Hip Hop Horray :)

Aspiring to be great but certainly falls short. Smoothies and food are decent but don’t stand out in an increasingly crowded category of high priced juice /healthy fast food bars

Amazingly refreshing and nutritious salads! I’m so happy I found this place on our South Beach stay! I got Teeka Salad two meals in a row a perfect blend of greens, sprouts, and quinoa. Juices are awesome snack. My guy got one of the wraps — equally amazingly tasty! Lime cilantro dressing is delicious on the salad and as a dip for the wrap! We have been getting delivery — super quick and polite! I wish I had a place like this back home!

AWESOME acai bowl. Very generous portion and extremely aesthetically pleasing. We also had a wrap and a stuffed baked sweet potato which were also fantastic. Joey helped us and he was so friendly and even made us a smaller acai bowl with the leftover acai he had. Good vibe and nice people. A great spot!

I would be ecstatic if they had something like this in Detroit/Michigan. I love salads, and the toppings are delicious and unique. I had the ahi tuna salad — there’s a hefty amount of ahi tuna, and it is accompanied by a homemade cilantro lime dressing. The price does not warrant what you get… it’s about 17.95. Again though, this is South Beach. Prices are hefty. My all time favorite that I hope to replicate at home is the Acai Bowl. I’ve heard of it before, but never actually tried it. It is hands down the food of the moment for me! There’s a thick acai smoothie topped with strawberries, blueberries, coconut flakes, kiwi, and pineapple. It’s 12.95, but it’s so good. You must give it a try here! They do a wonderful job at preparing it. There’s free parking in front of the store, so there’s no reason not to try it. It’s all the way at the end of a small marketplace. Make sure to take advantage of the Unilocal deal as well.

Good was really great and I agree with the previous reviews about the excellent dressing. The staff was working hard and fast to make sure everyone got what they needed. I saw a very rude customer that was handled nicely even though she was being mean to the staff. I do wish there was more seating or outdoor seating as the area to eat is quite small. They do deliver which may be a better option. I walked a mile in the rain, based on the reviews, and I wasn’t sorry! I am vegan and had many options to choose from.

My husband and I ordered two wraps and two small smoothies. Everything was delicious and tasted very fresh. We were looking for a natural and organic meal, and this was just right. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come here again. One of the negatives is that it’s on the expensive side. My bill came to be $ 38. I would also improve on the location issue. The business needs some sort of a sign on the street corner because the restaurant is at the end of a small plaza and was hard to find.

Made a pit stop here on my way home today. I desperately needed a hangover remedy and knew this little place would have a cure. As I walked in, I immediately noticed the relaxed vibe and asked the cashier if she could recommend me something. Between her and her co-worker, they knew just the thing and whipped it up for me in less than 5 minutes. It was very similar to some of the juices I make at home that contain beets and kale, but I also noticed the ginger they had put in there. I must say I did notice a difference afterwards, as I had more energy and less dizziness. As for the menu, they had an extensive list of salads and a variety of juices. Definitely a very casual place to drop in for lunch or a healthy snack.

Great food! Food is very tasty and filling! If you are looking for something that is not messy to eat, I highly recommend the wraps. My favorite is the Liv Wrap! Also delivery is very fast although a bit expensive in price. Service is great and the quality of the food and the ingredients used also gets a big thumbs up from me

On their homepage and on google it says they open on 9.30 for takeout and delivery. When I was there at 9.30, I was told they were not open yet and the cook would only get there at around 10.30! Very unreliable — I won’t be back!

Food is great customer service not so much. You Will be greeted with an attitude from the cashier(zairi), also she will ignore you if you ask for something other than her assigned job duties. Forget about asking for the manger because there is never one.

Blink & you’ll miss it! Carrot Express is a fresh hidden gem just off of Alton Rd and 17th Avenue. When you walk in, you’re instantly greeted & the aroma of fresh produce fills the air. The menu is posted up on the wall to the right, and it’s extensive. Wraps, salads, smoothies and bowls — The choice is yours! Whatever you order is made FRESH. The Acai Bowl was my first choice. Without second guessing, I ordered it. Ten minutes later, a beautiful Acai bowl was placed in front of me. Fresh with bananas, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, honey, almond granola and coconut flakes. Mmmmmm! The portions are generous and the bowl is absolutely delicious! If I could have this every day, I would. Worth every penny. Carrot Express, you’ve won me over! ProTip: Check-in for your 10% off.

Kale — Yeah! Carrot Express is a small, yet huge menu of goodness and fresh tastes. After our third visit and having something totally different, we are now hooked. You come in and see a smiling face and very ample table and counter space. A menu that is nice and legible and has something for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans too. My favorite so far is the La Bomba wrap which grilled once they stuff it with mushroom, arugula, spinach, hummus, tomatoes, and in my case, zero fat tuna. The prices are very modest for the freshness you will taste(about $ 10 per wrap) and that is a great deal anywhere, let alone mid, to south beach area. With a Groupon or just going on a whim, Carrot Express is a winner for us.

Yeah, dug it. Had the Liv Wrap and the Green Dream smoothie, both very nice and healthy tasting. My first time there so I can’t really say anything about the other options, but it all came in a great proportion and left perfectly full. I guess the only downer was the Sarah Mclachlan playing in the background making me think about her über sad animal commercials on TV.

This is the go to place for me and my coworkers when we are in need of a healthy lunch during our busy work week. Whenever we gorge ourselves over the weekend and feel like we need to have some sort of detox or «be good» during the week, we order from Carrot Express to make sure we are getting a good, fresh, healthy meal. Basically everything on the menu is delicious. I’ve tried most of their salads and I like them all. But, my favorite is the green goddess. The avocados are always ripe and delicious. I personally love the soy ginger dressing, but I have to give a shout out to the cilantro lime dressing because everyone I know is obsessed with it. They call it the crack dressing. They think it is the best thing since sliced bread. Wonderful place with huge salads, and fast delivery. We love Carrot Express and we always come back for more.

I’m disappointed in myself as a South Beach resident of nearly a decade for never having checked out Carrot Express until recently. Then again, it’s tucked into a tiny shopping plaza wedged in between Alton Road and Dade Boulevard and really only accessible to those in the know(secret driveway and all that). But now that I’ve been turned on to Carrot Express, there’s no turning back. They have an amazing selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, platters, fresh juices and smoothies. Julie’s Smoothie, with pineapple, orange, mango, strawberries, honey and ice is my favorite. It’s so good that it’s hard for me to refrain from draining the cup in one long sip. A friend turned me on to the spinach pie tuna melt sandwich, which comes with spinach, tuna salad, cheese and accoutrements heated and served on crisped pita bread. With a couple of dabs of hot sauce and a dousing of Carrot Express’ homemade dressing(cilantro-lime, I think), this sandwich is like a party in your mouth. As soon as I’m done, I’m thinking about my next fix or wishing I’d ordered 2 sandwiches — it’s that good! Prices are very reasonable — if you get a juice or a smoothie with your meal, expect to spend about $ 12 – 15. Sandwiches/wraps alone are under $ 10, with the smoothies/juices running about $ 6. And another plus for Carrot Express — they have free parking in the shopping plaza lot! If you know the beach well, head on over to Carrot Express when you’re craving your next healthy meal. If you don’t, take a look at a map and try to figure out how to get here. I’m counting down the days till my next Carrot Express fix!
