Delicious croissants, pizzas, and breakfast pastries! A little too much mayo in the tuna salad sandwich for me, but the sweet braided bread/tuna salad combo is delicious! I always stop in when I’m staying in South Beach. Haven’t been to a tastier bakery in Miami than Buon Pane. Can’t wait to try the donuts next!

Happened upon this place while out walking and decided to give it a try. It was delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The service was great and very friendly. We liked it so much we went back the next day on our way to the airport. Our only regret is that we didn’t fine it sooner during our stay.

I went twice to this place called ”Buon pane Italiano ‘m I tried some pizza and other products… But Red Pizza is covered by dry and gross Tomato a little rancid Margherita has the same problem with mozzarella cheese that seemed not fresh So don’t try it The refill of cannoli was terrible and I felt bad with stomach problems after 2 hours I ate it Rice inside ”arancino” is overcooked and under seasoned The old owners is always cranky and treats clients in rude way They don’t make receipts at all The hygienic conditions are below a normal level Difficult to perceive a feeling of cleanliness inside this place. Incomparable with other new places in sout beach Like Rosetta on Collins av.

OK. Not much choice for breakfast pastries. Mostly pizzas and a few loaves of bread. Ordered two croissants. $ 4.80 Service was friendly if you spoke Italian. Otherwise it was brisk.

Best bread and pastries in Miami hands-down. My personal favorite is the focaccia bread. The perfect place to stop after spending a day at the beach.

Very cute place, super nice people running it. It’s not«touristy» which is a huge plus for me. The food is delish. A perfect place for a snack.

Super nice guy running the place, with fresh bread… and excellent slices of pizza. Exactly what we were looking for on our stay in Miami! Open early on the Bakery side too… local joint for sure!

There’s not a huge variety but what they do make is absolutely authentic high quality Italian food .we tried the pizza, the bread, and the desserts and everything was exactly how it would be if you were in Rome ordering it from a bakery. We went out of our way to go to the spot because I wanted to taste authentic Italian food again after visiting Italy. The prices were extremely reasonable and the food was great. The staff was very nice and patient and informative.

Saw the a smattering of their offerings from their window on our wag elsewhere and made a point to stop back in. It is one of those charming Italian bakeries that offers the necessities… from lasagna to pizza to delicious bread. We tried a pizza with tomatoes on top and I can’t remember the next five minutes of my life — it was that amazing. Words do not do justice to the crust of this pizza — it should be celebrated locally. The desserts are also quite tempting and you can’t imagine how intoxicating the smells are.

The heart of Italy in Miami Beach! The pizza is made fresh so be patient if what you want isn’t «American fast-food ready.» So far I’ve only had the pizza and it was stellar!

It’s really good. You’d be hard pressed to find a better breakfast place anywhere else in South Beach. I should have tried the pizza… Maybe next time. It’s too bad that the location sucks and there’s no seating or coffee. Otherwise I would have given them five stars.

Do you want to have pizza for breakfast? Yes you do. Do you want to have it made by Italians made in their style with toppings like ‘just tomato’, or potato? Yes you do. Do you want to wash it down with a chocolate cannoli? Yes you do. Do you want to pay less than $ 5 for 2 items on South Beach. You totally do. It took impossible restraint not to wolf down a slice and a canoli on the 3 block walk to the beach. I’m surprised I held out. The Italian speaking gentleman helped me with a managed speed and when I requested to have the pizza and canoli in the same bag, he carefully placed them side by side so as not to have them touch. I almost didn’t buy the canoli but he said that if I came later they’d all be gone. Well that was an easy delimma to be a part of. The shell didn’t taste homemade being a little on the stiff side. The pizza was a purée of sweet tomato with a hint of oregano and onion, the crust had been brushed with olive oil and was not super thin but crunchy. This place feels new and clean but still totally down home Classic Italian without being a grungy hole in the wall. My Miami friends Mom said the homemade bread is sometimes cheaper than the grocery store. It’s off the beaten path so you won’t even have to wait long. Do you want to walk to the beach and have an amazing breakfast with the waves in your background before you take a nap? Yes. You do.

Delicious bakery at a very unexpected place. I understand why most of the people here grant 5 starts to the place, as the food and bread have an amazing flavor and prices are extremely reasonable. But unfortunately I have to say that the bakery should worry about having the door open all the time. With the humidity in Miami, bread can get a little bit stale and they should worry about getting roaches, rats or anything that can easily pass through that door, specially as all the Miami Beach back alleys are full of animals and they are really close to the entrance of one of them.

Holy Cow! My top two croissants in North America were at Café Besalu in Seattle followed by La Boulangerie in SF. I now happily rank Buon Pane’s at a tie for #1! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious and at very reasonable prices considering the SoBe location. Outside of Joel Robuchon in Paris, the baguettes are better than what I’ve experienced in most of France. As soon as I’m done with this review I’m jumping on my vespa to pick up a fresh one! there is a bit of seating, be aware that the location isn’t in one of the most«relaxing» parts of the beach.

I know I have been dishing out the 5 star reviews much more than usual but this is actually a great thing! I’m feeling really good about our city, and the new businesses opening. People who are passionate and talented are opening up small shops like Buon Pane. Authentic Italian bakeries with the freshest, mouth watering baguette you have had on the beach, possibly the city. There are nice Italian men baking bread here at least twice a day. Sometimes my partner in crime and I will blade in the morning to pick up a baguette and have fresh bread for breakfast. Sometimes its still warm from the oven and we gleam with joy all the way home. Its a small bakery serving breads and a few other baked goods such as mini fruit pies, eggplant parm, and Italian style pizzas. Not your usual cheese and pepperonis but they almost look like a quiche and a pizza had a baby, haven’t tried it yet but there is usually a couple Italian customers ordering/eating them in the store. The people working there are Italian and speak Italian and English. This is my new go to spot for bread and I hope they never leave. I love you Buon Pane!

A delicious and family owned bakery that deserve you give it a try. And then you are gonna come back almost every day like we do ! We live in the neighborhood and we were blessed when this bakery opened. We love everything they do, from the breads to the pastries and the pizzas. Price are also very nice so what else should we add? Yes, the smile of my 1 year old son when he comes in. He knows he will find a smile and grab some delicious piece of food !

Forget Paul, la Provence, and chic. This is the closest of a baguette that you’ll find in France, but right here in Miami and made by Italians. Who would have thought? ?? Prices are a little cheaper than other french bakeries but the bread is of better quality. There’s also a one car parking spot right in the back so I’ve been shopping there every day for the past week. Gracie, merci! Seba

Do not miss out. A great new local business added to Fifth Street. Cannolis are authentic. Breads are crusty and fresh. Sweet brads are fluffy, not overly sweet, and perfect to take home and accompany a cup of coffee or tea. Support this bakery, not just because it’s local, and because prices are reasonable, but because you can taste the love in each bread, pastry, pizza. And they treat you like family.
